letsee, while you have to play it as you see it.

For mind I keep thinking that courtsey of our largest shareholder, probably seven other persons were aware of the gold assays before the market was, excluding the laboratory.

One could ask, what was the commercial imperative in providing the gold assays prior to all other metal element results?

Moreover, the responce on the 12/05/11 to the ASX please explain,IMHO was completely contradictory.

Paragraph one on page3/5

" The company has taken the view at the outset that gold assay results and multi-element assay results should be reported concurrently in order to provde a balanced interpretation of mineralisation at the Balatindi Project"

Surely the gold assays in isolation were/are unbalanced?

Given the fact that Balantindi is/was a multi element project.

If you look at the maiden drilling results dated the 23/12/2010 for Hot Chili,it reveals all metal assays as one and just as importantly the Copper Equivalent.
With a calculation on how the figure was obtained.

http://www.hotchili.net.au/investors/announcements/period/2010

I'm somewhat surprised that there isnt an Australian standard to cover these results.
Its a valuable tool hindsight that,BYR management flagged that the gold assays would be released prior to all others should have rung alarm bells, that the potential for an arbitrage event to occur was a possibility IMHO.

Thats all I'm saying until the AGM.

Raider

wow...have not looked at this one for a while. I think my prediction of under 5 cents is going to come off. It has more chance of going sub 1 cent then getting back over 10 cents. I really look forward to hearing what comes out of the AGM. But in reality people will put questions to Ron and in the end, what will it matter. The truth will be twisted and I have said it before and I will say it again, there is no upside with this stock. The holes have nothing and really does remind me of CVI and look where they are now. Good luck to holders, but really should be getting out and moving your cash to something more stable. If anyone can post what is positive with this stock I would love to know. Because all the current mines are filled with excuses and very average grades. And in the end they are not going to start production in what they have found, so really they have nothing.
i'm a pro - and not the street working kind!

Yes, that would be fair if the gold assays were known to be coming back with numbers consistent with the Italian numbers. As those numbers were the prevailing view of the market based on prior information. However the gold results were significantly lower and this has a material affect on the value of the deposit. Hence shareholders should have been made aware immediately.

It was because of the anticipated conformity to the Italian results that I somewhat reluctantly accepted the delay in the Ghana gold results, despite posting on here several times that the company would have been sitting on them for months. That and Ron's buy saying "she'll be right mate" quelled the alarm bells in my head. But really I should have been a lot more critical as soon as I discovered where he used to squeeze his oranges.

Yes Pual, you were on the money and i tip my hat to you for your ability to think outside the box, the cunning moves were hard to argue against and the reason why i stayed in ultimately costing me dearly.

Well done Pual for your ability to stand your ground against the crowd, not many men are able to do this.

Good on you!!

shareholders have well and truly spoken, its time for Ron to stand down at the AGM and its time for PRU to step in and make sure it happens. Improving shareholder value has not been accomplished this year by the company, in fact withholding results is a failure of directorship duties and appropriate action needs to be taken.

Both BGF and PRU need to grow some balls and sort it out.

looking at the whole situation i am trying to get a positive view about the company we do have good exploration plays.
there is alot of questions that need to be answered.
i hope these questions will be answered at the agm.
i have been looking at avocet mining they have mining leases next door to byr. its all hapening there they are getting good grades and widths. i think byr should pay more attention to these areas. but i dont know it all depends on the results on current drilling.
i wonder if avocet mining are have trouble getting results out to the market. it does say in one of the reports drilling is starting this quarter and results should be in early 2012.
have a look at there website its interesting
byr are cashed up and do have good leases
so why is share price
please explain?

Yes your right nevman,

"there are alot of questions that need to be answered."

It will be interesting,if the answers will given voluntarily or if they need to be prised from management at the AGM.

I also think you right about the fact,

"we do have good exploration plays".
Low grade or not,Mansounia should be fast tracked IMHO.

The POG should make this project a goer.
It will be interesting to see what advancements have been acheived to get this up and running, past the conjecture point.

In relation to the SP ,given the bagging the companys had,Id be surprised if it were higher quite frankly.

Yes I will be at the AGM and while participating as best I can ,I will also be watching, because Im sure theres a game been played with this stock,as yet Im not totally convinced as to whos playing, while I have my suspisions Im not a hundred percent certain.

Some former and current SHrs have thought out aloud as to who is to blame and they may ultimatley be proved correct,me Im not so sure, time will tell.

What I am prepared to say is that the reporting level from management, would have to be described as the lowest possible end of reporting spectrum IMHO.

As I offered in a previous post compared to the maiden drill results from hot chilli and BRY ,there was daylight between what Hotchili served up to the market and that of Burey.

If there were a time to treat SHrs with the level of respect and professionalism that should be accorded to us,surely this AGM would be agood time to do it.

Guys

The first question somone should askat the AGM is;

Ron, (and other directors), will you answer all questions put to you in this meeting as fully and frankly as possible?

I am not a financial adviser. Always do your own DD and never rely on anything I say!

Don't factor anything I say into your decision to buy - I was stupid enough to buy SBL, BYR, MEO, AIM/BTR, BDG and IMI... and a few other mutts, and I sold EIO just before it went up 450%.

I only post because nobody at home will talk to me.

At the risk of stating the obvious Leroy,we know its a low grade deposit, these new results merely proveup and extend what was already known.

Keep wallowing in the angst Leroy.

The key points to me are,the previous scoping study was predicated on a gold price of US$940 per ounce.

Not quite sure what this is code for" The preliminary scoping study results at the time indicated that there may be potential for the viable development of the MGD should a low cost treatment process be availed" or an increase in the gold(then around US$940 per ounce).
Todays price $1,729.00

Given that two of BYRs directors are also on the pru board, who are a full bottle on LIC treatment plants, for low grade resourcesI know buggar all, but the only addition would be HPGR,which they say should be used for low grade ore improvement.
What could possibly delay this project further than the next quarter, not alot IMHO.
Its time for the management team to step up to the plate and get this project moving.

So what are the options

1, a tolling operation through SEMAFO
2, A stand alone CIL operation-how is ths funded?
3,Sell to SEMAFO,they are right nextdoor.
4,do nothing and let pru pick it up at a firesale price.

I wonder had the overall market not been down ,would the SP have jumped,I say probably.

[1] These Mansounia results should improve the project to some extent - particularly the scope for depth extensions. It would be nice to see the cross sections they refer to quickly at the top of page 5 - but I can not find the sections on their web site. After past disasters surely PRU people have been all over these results - must have approved the wording used.

[2] The Magnificent Prospect might have been optimistically named. But that is min exploration - tough game.

[3] On another subject - I just looked for the Balatindi cross sections - could not find them at;

LOL Welkin,yes your right,

"These are best appreciated when located on plan and on a proximal array of ten drill crosssections which provide a spatial link to the primary andsecondary zones of mineralisation and reveal how the resources model could be enhanced."

Whats the point of referring to them if you dont insert them into the report?
More sloppy work from the MD.

I see one West African gold explorer has found a way to get around the assay holdups.

"If any confirmation were needed that the West African gold sector is still booming, Ampella Mining's decision to build its own on-site laboratory might be it.

The WA-based explorer made the move because of an assay backlog in West Africa's laboratories, which makes it tricky to work out just how much gold it's sitting on in Burkina Faso. "

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/opinion/post/-/...post/100/comment/1

In relation to your comment,

"After past disasters surely PRU people have been all over these results - must have approved the wording used."

Personally I think their just using BYR as an asset bank, with a first and last rights over BYR what do they care what happens in the interim.

Still on Mansounia, from the CIG annual report.

Burey (www.bureygold.com) can earn an interest in Caspian's Mansounia project by completeting a feasibility study with at least 200,000oz gold reserve,at which time Caspian's equity would reduce to 8% and Caspian would be intitled to a US$500,000 cash payment.

Given the current attractive gold price,it is expected that Burey will undertake a scoping study if the recent drilling programe returns positive results.

Bearing in mind Welkin, both companys are in the same offices, this from the BYR report,

The results provide support for committing to a develpment study for the MGD at the earliest oppurtunty.

So which is it scoping,development,?.

Was meint ihr?

Echt gute Beiträge hier. Macht Lust auf mehr. Weiter so!
@monstroes.

61 Postings, 4728 Tage kato62Und Guten Morgen an alle!

Halte fast nur Aktien aus Down Under.
