ARISE Technologies Confirms 2009 PV Cell Shipments to SOLON AG

WATERLOO, ON, Nov. 18 /CNW/ - ARISE Technologies Corporation (TSX: APV and Frankfurt: A3T), which is dedicated to becoming a leader in high-performance, cost-effective solar technology, today reported that it has confirmed with SOLON AG the volume and pricing of PV (photovoltaic) cells that it will ship to SOLON in 2009.


"The volume of shipments and pricing arrangement for 2009 are consistent with our expectations and with the five-year agreement that we signed with SOLON in early 2008 to supply 212MW of PV cells over the life of the agreement," said Chris Waters, Vice-President, Business Development and Marketing for ARISE.

"During this past summer, ARISE began making volume shipments to SOLON of PV cells produced at our new German plant. We view the amicable negotiation of the shipment terms for 2009 as being confirmation both of the strong relationship that our companies are forging and of our mutual confidence for the outlook for our businesses over the coming year," Mr. Waters added.

Wäre nicht die erste Firma die mit vollen Auftragsbüchern aufhören muß.  

Was ist schon eine Lieferzusage über 212 MW üfer FÜNF Jahre, wenn ich mit einer Linie ca. 120 MW pro Jahr produzieren könnte. Wenn man das mal hochrechnet, liedert Arise pro Jahr ca 40 MW an Solon.
Folgende Fragen sind da viel eher zu klären:
Wie erhöhe ich den Wirkungsgrad meines Produkts dauerhaft auf > 15%?
Wann kommt der nächste Innovationsschub mit deutlich höherem Wirkungsgrad?
Wer kauft den Rest meiner Produktion?

 

Auch wenn ich hier nicht mehr investiert bin muß ich hier mal eins loswerden.

Was  WarrenB  hier von sich gegeben hat, hat sich doch bis jetzt in vollem Umfang bestätigt !!!

Klar das hier Einige das nicht gerne sehen wollen aber es gehören auch kritische Stimmen zu einem Investment und nicht nur Schönrederrei.
Kann in keinster Weise nachvollziehen warum Warren hier teilweise angefeindet wird. Seid doch froh , dass sich Jemand der Sache so gut annimmt und excellent recherchiert.

Ich denke das Warren weiss wo von er spricht und das sich das bewahrheitet hat, zeigt sein Wissen über die Dinge. Hättet ihr auch nur ein wenig auf ihn gehört, so hättet ihr euch viele Sorgen ersparen können.

Darauf hat die Welt unter George W. Bush jahrelang vergeblich gewartet: Bushs Nachfolger, der künftige Präsident Barack Obama plant einen Kurswechsel der USA in der Klimapolitik. Mehr als das: Er kündigt gar eine führende Rolle seiner Regierung im Kampf gegen den Klimawandel an.

"Meine Präsidentschaft markiert ein neues Kapitel der amerikanischen Führungsrolle", sagte Obama in einer Videobotschaft an die Teilnehmer einer Klimaschutzkonferenz in Los Angeles. Diese Konferenz geht auf eine Initiative der kalifornischen Gouverneurs Arnold Schwarzenegger zurück. Obama sprach sich dafür aus, die Emission klimaschädlicher Gase bis 2020 auf den Stand von 1990 zurückzufahren. Bis 2050 sollte der Ausstoß dann um weitere 80 Prozent verringert werden. Eine Leugnung sei keine annehmbare Antwort auf die Erderwärmung, kritisierte Obama indirekt seinen Amtsvorgänger für die Blockadepolitik der USA im Klimaschutz.


Schwarzenegger trat in seiner Eröffnungsrede Befürchtungen von Unternehmerseite entgegen, die Maßnahmen zur Senkung des CO2-Ausstoßes seien zu teuer und würden der Wirtschaft schaden. "Wir glauben fest daran, dass es der Wirtschaft hilft", sagte er vor den über 800 Teilnehmern aus 20 Staaten. Kalifornien beschloss unterdessen, bis zum Jahr 2020 ein Drittel seiner Energie aus erneuerbaren Quellen zu beziehen. Eine entsprechende Verfügung unterzeichnete Schwarzenegger vor Beginn der Konferenz. Das Parlament des US-Staates muss die Verfügung noch bestätigen. Bisher wollte Kalifornien bis 2010 insgesamt 20 Prozent seiner Energie aus Wind und Sonne beziehen.  

Bin (noch) nicht investiert aber die Arise muss ich sagen hält sich heute sehr gut in dem Börsenumfeld,
bleibt ubzuwarten ob sie es auch noch kann wenn die USA eröffnen.

für heute sehe eher die Tendenz nach unten als nach oben

MacLellan has been appointed President of its PV Systems Division. Mr.
MacLellan has relinquished his current position as Chief Technology Officer of
ARISE while retaining his role as Vice-Chairman and Director. Bert Pendergast,
Vice-President and General Manager, PV Systems Division, will continue in that
role, reporting to Mr. MacLellan.
   "The PV Systems Division was the initial business of ARISE Technologies
when Ian founded the company," said Bart Tichelman, the company's President
and Chief Executive Officer. "We are pleased that Ian has agreed to take on
the responsibility for the PV Systems business where he can continue to apply
