AU000000SOL3 - Washington H. Soul Pattinson

Über diesen Artikel im Motley Fool wurde ich auf diese australische "Mini-Berkshire" aufmerksam: Die Rede ist von Washington H. Soul Pattinson; an der Börse notiert sie unter dem Kürzel "Soul Pattionson". 

Man investiert hier in eine australische Holding, deren Ursprünge in der Pharmazeutik liegen. Inzwischen ist man aber recht divers in Baumaterial, Minen, Immobilien udn Telekommunikations investiert.

Der Kursverlauf der letzten 30 Jahre ist beeindruckend und eine kleine Dividendenrendite von ca. 2,4% gibt es noch obendrauf. 

Ich nehm sie mal auf die Watchlist.

Aktuell drängt sich ein Kauf nicht gerade auf, aber wie gesagt: Watchlist. 

Up 30% in a year, is it too late to buy Washington H. Soul Pattinson shares?

"On the ASX, the company that is sometimes called Australia’s Berkshire Hathaway is Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co. Ltd (ASX: SOL). It has delivered an average return per annum of 12.9% over both the last five and 20 years.

Soul Pattinson also has a diversified portfolio, and has been operating since 1903 – it has paid a dividend every year since then. The company has also grown its annual ordinary dividend each year since 2000.

I’m not suggesting that should be the only investment in a passive income-focused portfolio but it’s a good one to consider as a core holding."
