W2 Energy Shows Aggressive Growth in Growing Market
TORONTO, Aug 21, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- W2 Energy Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTWO), a developer of green energy, is pleased to announce that its growth as a company continues to be rapid and on schedule. The marketing of its waste to energy plants continues to produce results. Based on Memorandums of Understanding that have been signed by its marketing partner, it is anticipated that W2 Energy will be required to supply 3 to 4 plants in the next 18 months. The cost to the customer for each plant is $2.8 million USD.
In addition to the marketing of the waste to energy plants, the company signed an exclusive distributorship agreement in India for its SEGS (Small Electrical Generation System) machines. The Company has already received and invoiced $200,000 in prepayment fees and will be paid another $300,000 over two years plus 6% royalties. These machines are ideal for generating power in areas where the only resource is slow moving water. The First SEGS is in final stages of delivery to the distributor and the marketing program in India is about to start. The Company is able to market the SEGS in the surrounding countries using India as an example.
The Company has also developed and tested its commercial scale Algae Bioreactors. There are several companies in the news who are talking about developing this technology. W2 Energy has already developed and fully tested the technology and plants with excellent results. Initially W2 Energy will build a pilot facility at its Guelph facility. The pilot facility will use 10 algae bioreactors to begin producing oil on a 24 hour basis; it is projected that each unit will produce 42 gals (approximately one barrel of oil a day). This will give the company projected initial production of approximately 10 barrels of oil per day. The Guelph facility has space to be able to accommodate another forty (40) algae bioreactors in the facility. The company predicts it will generate up to 50 barrels of oil per day which is anticipated to generate revenue for the company. To give the company further flexibility, it has begun construction on a commercial scale NT (Non Thermal) Plasmatron. Should the Company decide to process the oil further, the NT Plasmatron will be used to generate syngas and low cost power. The NT Plasmatron gives W2Energy the ability to deliver low cost power and increases the flexibility of the algae bioreactors.
In summary the company will continue to expand its operations by selling its waste to energy plants and other systems while at the same time increasing the value of the company by using its own technologies and systems to generate direct day-to-day income.
Remember with a W2 Energy Plant "GARBAGE BECOMES A RENEWABLE RESOURCE."
Coal Industry Takes Interest in W2 Energy Technology
TORONTO, Aug 27, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- W2 Energy Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTWO), a developer of green energy, is pleased to announce that it is starting to receive the attention of the coal industry. The W2 Energy waste to energy plant and the NT (Thermal) Plasmatron are well suited to process thermal coal into low sulfur diesel.
During the process of preparing coal for use in the power plants, a waste product called "fines" is produced. Fines, which is waste coal generated during preparation of the coal for use in power generation, is too fine to be used for the purpose of power generation. Fines are a significant contributor to environmental contamination in power generation. A W2 Energy plant can process the fines, generating additional revenue for the power plant and reducing costs of producing power through the production of diesel to run the generators, while cleaning up the power plant site. The W2 Energy plant is a closed system with no toxic fumes. There is no release of CO2 into the atmosphere. In addition to processing the fines, the W2 Plants can be used to help the power plant deal with their refuse and other waste material, especially plastics. In addition to helping deal with environmental issues and waste management, the W2 Energy plant will generate carbon credits to reduce the power plants carbon footprint.
W2 Energy is able to take a sample of coal from the power plant, and through processing and analysis, tell the power plant exactly what the yield will be and the products that will be generated. W2 Energy is in a unique position to be able to help the coal industry deal with existing environmental issues while reducing their costs of operations. A significant interest by the coal industry in the W2 Energy technology will be very beneficial to W2 Energy.

W2 Energy Begins the Process to Become Vertically Integrated
TORONTO, Aug 31, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- W2 Energy Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTWO), a developer of green energy, is pleased to announce that it has begun to take delivery of materials to begin construction of the Algae plant previously announced on August 13, 2009. The construction of the Algae plant is the first step in W2 Energy becoming vertically integrated. The Algae plant is expected to be completed and in full production by the end of 2009. W2 Energy currently markets its waste to energy plants to third parties, and now the company will use its own technology and equipment to produce diesel for resale. The Company is very confident that it can produce the algae-diesel at 1/3 of the cost of those companies making bio-diesel by using its technology and catalytic methods, rather than methanol, catalyst and heat.
W2 Energy has been developing a line of reasonably priced, easy to install and user friendly consumer products, and now will use its own equipment and technology to manufacture and sell fuel at a cost substantially below its competitors, but with an excellent profit margin generating day to day revenues.
Pictures and video will be posted step by step on the company's website www.w2energy.com under our new project heading as they become available.
W2 Energy Receives International Attention With Its Algae to Diesel System
TORONTO, Sep 02, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- W2 Energy, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: WTWO) is pleased to announce that based on the latest information released related to its Algae to Diesel Project using the NT Plasmatron, it has generated significant interest internationally. Several very interested parties have asked for information about costs and yields of the W2 Energy facility being built in Guelph, Ontario. The marketing team is meeting with these parties in Miami, Florida the week of September 7, 2009 to discuss commitments for the system. As well as getting paid for the systems, W2 Energy will receive a royalty from each barrel of diesel produced. Using the W2 Energy technology and equipment, the cost to set up the facility is reasonable and the paybacks substantial.
The W2 facilities will turn algae into syngas and then make diesel from the syngas without having to make biodiesel. The elimination of the step which produces biodiesel substantially reduces the end cost of the diesel. W2 Energy is the only system currently available that eliminate the manufacture of biodiesel in the process.
Remember, with a W2 Energy plant, GARBAGE BECOMES A RENEWABLE RESOURCE.
The W2 Plant is a closed system with no release of CO2 in the atmosphere. It requires no pretreatment or sorting of contents. All other systems require sorting and pre treatment. No pretreatment substantially reduces the cost of operations.

Using a set of proprietary processes, Toxco safely strips the metals out of these batteries and sells it. Up until now Toxco has been sending the shredded battery cases to the landfill.
W2 Energy will be taking this waste, primarily plastic and carbon, and converting it electricity and diesel fuel using a set of technologies developed over the last nine years.
"Toxco is an ideal business partner for W2 Energy because they have already made such an impressive commitment to environmental sustainability," says Mike McLaren, CEO of W2 Energy. "We are pleased to utilize this material in a way that provides sustainable benefits and produces the energy our society needs."
W2 Energy's technology will convert the hydrogen, carbon and oxygen which comprise Toxco's battery waste into a renewable source of fuel and electricity.
"This joint venture is ideal for both Toxco and W2. We are giving them a high quality feedstock for their machine, and they are giving us the electricity and liquid fuel we use in our operations. That's a win/win," says Ms. Bruce.
W2 Energy will be building a mobile mass-to-energy unit which will fit on a single 45-foot truck trailer. Inside the truck will be a complete mass-to-energy plant which will process up to 4 tons per day of plastic and carbon waste. While this plant will require electricity to start it, once running, W2 Energy's low temperature gasifier and high efficiency steam engine will actually generate excess electricity. The resulting synthetic gas will be converted into liquid fuel. That fuel will either be used by Toxco or sold to a fuel blender for resale.
The carbon and nitrogen oxides normally generated by combusting waste will be sequestered in the W2 Energy's algae reactor, in which various strains of algae will grow on these flue gases. The resulting algae will be gasified and turned into more fuel and electricity.
