FRANKFURT (AFX) - Adidas-Salomon AG (Nachrichten/Aktienkurs) is proposing to split its shares on a four-for-one basis, the company said in the invitation to its annual general meeting.

Adidas shareholders will be asked to vote on the proposal at the AGM, which will take place on May 11.

A single Adidas share costs nearly 160 eur, making it one of the highest priced shares on the DAX 30 blue-chip index.

The company announced on March 2 that it planned to carry out a stock split.

dazu hätte ich mal eine Frage an die OS-Spezialisten:

Was passiert eigentlich mit den Optionsscheinen bei einem Split? Zum Beispiel im Fall Adidas bei einem Call mit Basiswert 160,- €?

ich glaub da wird das bezugsrecht und basiswert auch gesplittet
