Hi all,

some interesting news crossed my screen: The UK Oil Services company Hunting PLC today announced a small (5m USD) investment in the 3d Printing (Additive Manufacturing) sector, see link below.

Key quote: "The investment in CAH provides Hunting with access to the fast growing additive manufacturing sector, which is increasingly being adopted by many of the Group's current oil and gas clients, while also providing opportunities for Hunting to enter new sectors complementary to the Group's current customer profile."

So, next to Aero, Space and Automotive the O&G industry seems to be an attractive end-market for 3D Printing. Lets see if SLM can capture some of that demand over the coming quarters.

Kann eigentlich nicht im Sinne des Unternehmens bzw. der Aktionäre sein, dass der Kurs jeden Tag 5% Sprünge macht (in die eine oder andere Richtung) aufgrund minimaler In- oder Outflows in einem ETF. Habe ich zumindest bei keiner anderen Aktie so bisher gesehen. Oder mal anders gefragt: kann man diese Info in irgendeiner Art berücksichtigen/nutzen? Any educated guess highly welcome!  

Als Langfristinvestor ist das kein Problem.
Wer kann soll die Aktie traden. -Viel Spaß.  

Und dann höhere Bewertungen aller USA möglich

Natürlich kann man die etf trades berücksichtigen. Ich mache das schon seit letztes Jahr.  

War ja vor nem Monat noch bei 15... Was geht da ab??

Entweder demnächst Übernahme.

Am besten erst 50er Kurse und dann die Übernahme zu höheren Kursen.  ;)

SLM hat mit die besten und modernsten Metalldrucker auf dem Markt. Ich hoffe nicht auf Übernahme  

Weder Kurs von 50, noch eine Übernahme. So volatil wie SLM ist, werden mM zuerst Gewinnmitnahmen erfolgen.

Wikis's sind für mich nur aufgeblähtes "Zeugs".  Performance ist immer mega. Mit einem
Wiki kannst du nicht verlieren - so scheint es.  

Mit L+S habe die ja gerade genug Spaß an den Backen ..        

Hallo @dlg und danke, dass Du unter #1804 indirekt meinen Wikifolio-Kommentar zitiert hast. Ob im Sinne des Unternehmens oder nicht, verursachen solche große (aus meiner Sicht zu große) Positionen, insbesondere in Verbindung mit einem passiven Konzept im Hintergrund, große Gefahren für den Produktanbieter, in diesem Beispiel ARK Invest.

@Der Pareto, was ist denn an Wikifolio verkehrt? In meinen Augen eine durchaus gelungene Revolution im sonst nicht so revolutionären Finanzmarkt Europa. Als Lang & Schwarz Aktionär bin ich damals überhaupt auf die Idee gekommen, ein Wikifolio aufzulegen und bin dem Wikifolio-Team dankbar, a) dass ich meine Anlageideen revisionssicher umsetzen kann und b) aus den Vergütungen bisher über 800 EUR an Spendengeldern organisieren und diese an bedürftige Menschen weitergeben konnte. Das Instrument ist gut für Anleger, gut für die sogenannten "Wikifolio-Runner", man darf nur - wie bei jedem anderen Instrument auch - nicht zu gierig resp. blauäugig handeln, indem man in ein Wikifolio mit einem "all in" Ansatz einsteigt. Ein wenig Recherche gehört immer dazu.

Ich wünsche allen Investierten/Spekulanten viel Erfolg mit SLM.

I think I will stay on board now and be long as SLM Solution is working on being listed in the US stock market (see job offers).
I've discussed with some US investors on yahoo forum and they were not even able to buy on Xetra, so there is a lot to gain from this listing.
Additionaly when you compare MArket cap of companies such as 3d system, DM, Velo3d (selling less machines than SLM solution,valued at more than 1B$..) there is a loooot of progress to come in front of us !

SLM announced today that they sold three of their largest machine, 2 SLM 500 and the first nxg600!!!
