Neuaufnahme: Blue Note Mining (WKN: A0LBYB)

Obwohl die Lage an den Edelmetallmärkten weiter unsicher ist, werden wir am Montag einen Teil der Barmittel neu investieren. Die sich bietende Chance bei diesem kanadischen Basismetallproduzenten ist einfach zu gut. Wir kaufen in Kanada mit Limit 0,64 CAD 4.800 Stück Blue Note Mining (Symbol: BN.V, WKN: A0LBYB). Das Unternehmen hat vor gut einem Jahr die Caribou Basismetall-Mine in New Brunswick, Kanada, von Breakwater Resources übernommen und diese gerade wieder in Betrieb genommen. Mit den schon definierten Reserven kann die Mine fünf Jahren fördern, einschließlich Ressourcen 9 Jahre bei 3.000 t Tagesleistung. Es besteht umliegend und zur Tiefe hin sehr gutes Explorationspotential zur Verlängerung des Minenlebens. Das Unternehmen hat per Juni 2007 281,5 Mio. Aktien ausgegeben, der Börsenkurs liegt bei ca. 0,60 CAD, Marktkapitalisierung also ca. 170 Mio. CAD. Im laufenden Jahr will man gemäß Firmenpräsentation noch 70 Mio. CAD Gewinn erwirtschaften, im nächsten Jahr entsprechend das Doppelte. Das Unternehmen wird also tatsächlich mit einem KGV von unter 1,5 für 2008 gehandelt. Selbst wenn die Zink und Blei im Preis etwas sinken sollen, wird das Blue Note viel weniger als andere Produzenten betreffen, denn das Erz ist deutlich hochgradiger als im Durchschnitt. Produktion beginnt in Kürze.

Vergleich mit Acadian Gold (gerade in Produktion gegangen):
    177 Mio MK und 40 Mio Pfund Zink, 16 Mio Pfund Blei
Blue Note:
    206 Mio CAD MK und 100 Mio Pfund Zink und 40 Mio Blei

Danach scheint Blue Note auf den ersten Blick erheblich unterbewertet. Allerdings ist zu berücksichtigen, dass Acadian noch andere Assets hat (Gold in Red Lake und Beteiligungen)

Bewertung: Es ist schwer zu beantworten, welche dieser beiden Aktien in Anbetracht der Gefahr einer Zinkknappheit vorzuziehen ist. Ich habe es ganz einfach so entschieden, dass ich in beide investiert habe. Einen weite Alternative wäre Breakwater Resources. MK ist aber schon über 1 Mrd CAD. Durch die höhere Produktion (240 Mio Pfund Zink aktuell + Blei, Silber, Kupfer und Gold) spielen die aber schon in der Oberliga.

Blue note mining hat vor kurzem stillgelegte Minen von Breakwater Resources übernommen. Das sind 2 Blei-Zink-Minen in Bathurst, Kanada. Aufgrund steigender Bleipreise sicherlich ein zukunftsweisender Schlag!

Blue Note Begins Processing Ore - Operations Underway at Caribou Mines

MONTREAL, July 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Blue Note Mining today reports that it has started processing ore at its Caribou mine; mining operations have been underway since early May with the stockpiling of over 40,000 tonnes of ore at surface.

The company expects to have saleable lead and zinc concentrates for delivery by the end of July. The operation is expected to be operating at planned throughput by October 2007 and planned metallurgical performance by year end 2007. The company is confident it will meet its planned 2007 concentrate production objectives.

Commissioning of the mill took place throughout the month of June when the crushing, grinding and flotation circuits, and all the mechanical installations were being prepared for production.

"The commencement of mining at Caribou is a milestone event for Blue Note Mining. Getting up and running within 11 months has been quite an achievement thanks to the team of over 600 dedicated employees and contractors working at the mine. The start-up of operations at the Caribou zinc-lead mines is continuing as planned and scheduled. The following milestones have been achieved as the Company ramps up toward full production:

Dann bekomme ich vielleicht meine dritte Position unter 0,30. Wäre Euch echt dankbar! KGV für 2008 ist traumhaft. Gesunkener Zinkpreis ist zwar nicht so schön; aber bei Blei dürften in der nächsten Zeit sehr gute Aussichten bestehen. Also nochmals: Bitte verkaufen. Ich will Eure Aktien!

Die Marktkapitalisierung von Blue Note beträgt zur Zeit 152 Mio CAD.

Das sind die jährlichen Einnahmen auf der Basis aktueller Rohstoffpreise:
133 Mio CAD für Zink sowie 99 Mio CAD für Blei, Silber und Kupfer.

Fazit: Ich kaufe weiter!

MONTREAL, Oct. 17 /CNW Telbec/ Blue Note Mining is pleased to announce that it has selected Nyrstar (formerly Umicore and Zinifex) and Boliden as the buyers for the majority of the unsold balance of its zinc concentrate.

Concentrate purchase contracts with all of Blue Note's buyers have been concluded. The key concentrate purchase terms are summarized as follows: (1) zinc and lead concentrates with standard by product credits; (2) the buyers are Nyrstar, Boliden and Xstrata; (3) a total volume of 85 percent of the projected output of zinc has been sold; (4) the concentrate terms are competitive for all concentrates.

MONTREAL, Oct. 18 /CNW Telbec/ - Blue Note Mining reports that its first shipment of zinc concentrate has been shipped from the port of Belledune, New Brunswick on October 17, 2007. This first shipment of approximately 5,600 metric tonnes of concentrate is enroute to Antwerp, Belgium.
