Also lass Dich nicht beindrucken.

Ansonsten kann ich zu der Entwicklung
Becoming very intriguing to say the least. Why did JPM do an about face and start laying blame on the FDIC...WAMU was solvent. Is there a concerted effort between JPM and WMI? We shall see. However, you would have to remove sanctions...if you are willingly granting your adversary more time.

Re: New Filing In Adversary Proceeding - WMI Withdraws Request For Sanctions 22-Aug-09 07:50 pm
Ghost, agree with you 100% on the Landis letter,,its merely a worthless 'Hail Mary' on the part of the piglets. Read the other so-called appeals, IMO they have no merit whatsoever. As you correctly state, they are important.
I will believe JPIG is bending when I see results.
I take things at face value, and given what we have seen to date does NOT lead me to believe that JPIG has EVER, and will ever, 'deal' in good faith.
Their earlier filings pointed out, and arrogant prick JD has reaffirmed in public, that they paid fair value for WM, no ands, ifs, or buts, about it, couldve paid $1 and still got it.
This latest rope-a-dope by them, the specious appearance of dealing in good faith, is exactly that. As I have said before, I would love to be dead wrong about my opinion on that.
But until I see some action from Judge Walrath, or JPIG actually and truly 'bending' on something, my opinion will remain unchanged.
You are correct, it is mere speculation on my part.
JD and his axis of evil are concerned only with running out the clock on WMI, he does not intend to pay another dime.
You can count on that.
Lets all ZEN Judge Mary some good karma over the weekend.

Eleganter geht's nicht.
(Cabrio gib's wahrscheinlich garnicht.
Muss jemand mal genau lesen
Weil is releasing JPM from financial responsibility for cost incurred by WMI while they opposed JPM actions a few months ago

This was added to PACER late Friday evening (it wasn't there last I checked). This is filed under the adversary proceeding filed by JPM against WMI/FDIC to protect the assets JPM says they purchased from the FDIC (09-50551):
Notice of Partial Withdrawal of Debtors Opposition to the Motion of JPM
http://www.box.net/shared/tt1ds1ngyc
It appears that WMI is withdrawing a request for sanctions from their July 2 Debtors' Oppostion:
http://www.kccllc.net/documents/0812229/0812229090702000000000009.pdf
"...by agreement between the parties, the Debtors are hereby withdrawing their sanctions..."
As far as I can tell, the "sanctions" discussed would be found on page 26 of the Debtors Opposition "DEBTORS SHOULD BE AWARDED FEES AND COSTS INCURRED OPPOSING JPMC'S MOTION TO DISMISS".
Does this mean that their may be an agreement in place to dismiss this adversary proceeding. Otherwise, why would the parties agree to dismiss the sanctions?
Based on this document, I see potential progress being made. We shall see.

pers. Meinung von user tunisia
Abend born,
http://www.wallstreet-online.de/diskussion/...isiken#1140302_37832727
$50-52B Appraised Book Value 22-Aug-09 10:42 pm
I understand that the Judge values a “going concern” at 1.5 times book value. Part of what the purchaser is buying is future profits, hence the multiplier of greater than one.
The math: (all simple conservative and rounded numbers)
$50B static book value.
Times the 1.5 book value multiplier.
Minus $5B other obligations (Preferred stock…).
Divided by 1.72B shares of stock.
My point is that from billing and court numbers we come to a PPS of $26 to $40 from the math above with a book value multiplier from 1.0 to 1.5. When people post other PPS numbers like $2-$3, can it be backed up with established numbers?
Please review the stock charts from 4/1/07 to 12/1/07 to see that the PPS was around $36 after TPG preferred stock became commons just before the full attack!
This is all my opinion and understanding, and I welcome better numbers or information.
Thanks.

tale ? I mean it reads like a crime novel. So our side tells their
story and it grips the jury.
JPM and FDIC tell their side. FDIC says they were protecting the
nation and JPM says they were just being kind. Yeah right.
So the jury is advised to ONLY go by the facts.
Fact. JPM had access to WAMU prior to the debacle and offered 8 bucks
a share which was turned down.
Fact. WAMU shares were shorted like crazy and though requested, were
denied an exemption like everyone else. WHY ?
FACT. OTS says they were solvent, no warning. WAMU should be able to
continue, right ?
FACT. FDIC jumps in an does a takeover for no apparent reason and does
not even process the deal properly, just WHOLE BANK.
FACT. JPM gets WAMU for 1.9 billion when they had just offered over 16
billion.
FACT. JPM doesnt even know what they received.
FACT. It was said this was done because of massive losses but JPM gets
a profit out of it.
Forget the moles, non-disclosure, deals with the FED, etc etc...for
those add spice to the mix, but are not as SOLIDIFIED as what I just
said.
There are tons more, but you, as the juror, how do you say "oh yes,
this was right?"
What gets painted in the mind of any sane person is there was
collusion between FDIC, The Fed and JPM to take over WAMU.
BTW..As a side note, I can tell you why. Its part of the Fed's larger
plan to consolidate banking. They have wanted this for years. why do
you think there have been 81 takeovers this year alone? Why did they
BAIL out the LARGE abusive banks but not failed ones who did not abuse
but were caught inthe downturn...ever wonder ? Consolidation and
control. The government wanted total control which is why some were so
quick to pay back TARP. It scared the bejesus out of them. All in my
opinion of course (since we are being watched...lol) but its what I
believe and know to be true...to me of course. Follow the stream.
Timmy G, Tres Sec , former head of NY FED, Bernake, etc. Blair is just
a pawn in a more powerful game.
