Orange Belgium launches Mobile Serenity solutions offering ultimate peace of mind for the entire family

In response to the increased demand for digital security and in line with its 'Lead the Future' strategy, Orange Belgium introduces cutting-edge mobile security solutions. Mobile Serenity and Mobile Serenity Plus & Plus Child are aimed at providing Orange customers with seamless, network-based protection for safer mobile browsing and a secure online experience.
Cyber attacks have surged since 2020(1): a 600% increase in phishing scams via emails and SMS, 400% more cyber attacks, and an 82% spike in ransomware-related data leaks. According to a recent Orange survey(2) , nearly 8 out of 10 Belgians are indeed convinced that digital risks have increased in recent years and that this will continue in the coming years. Spontaneously, piracy is quoted as the first source of concern: 30% of Belgians have already had at least one password hacked. While 1 in 4 declare that they themselves, or a relative, have fallen victim to at least one banking fraud over the past year, nearly 1 in 3 says they can neither count on help nor provide it to a loved one in the event of a problem or exposure to a digital risk. When it comes to advice and reliable protection tools the survey shows that people look first and foremost to their mobile operator - quoted before government and banking institutions. Finally, 60% of respondents are convinced of the use of an antivirus against hacking.
Trusted network solutions offering peace of mind
Orange Belgium's new Mobile Serenity offerings provide customers with easy, effective security options tailored to today's digital needs. Each plan offers unique benefits, from seamless protection on Orange's 4G and 5G networks to roaming, WiFi-connections and parental controls, ensuring a safer online experience for every family member.
Orange Mobile Serenity provides:
• Network-based protection: secure browsing on Orange 4G/5G and when travelling abroad
• Cyber-protection and content filtering: a safe internet experience without requiring any downloads
• User-friendly web portal: a single portal for service management, encouraging customer engagement with real-time alerts
Orange Mobile Serenity Plus & Plus Child includes all the features of Mobile Serenity, plus:
• Expanded protection on any device on any network: Orange 4G/5G, public WiFi, and other networks worldwide
• Antivirus application: detect malware, website security testing, e-mail hacking check
• Parental controls: customized access times for children's internet use, allowing parents to block certain content, set connection and disconnection times
The solutions are designed to offer flexibility and affordability:
• Orange Mobile Serenity, Plus & Plus Child are free for Orange Mobile Small, Medium, or Large customers (choice between 'on-net & on-device' or 'on-net & child protection' per card)
• Orange Go Legacy customers pay EUR 1/month with the first month free for Mobile Serenity. Mobile Serenity Plus & Plus Child are available for EUR 3/month with three free months included (choice between 'on-net & on-device' or 'on-net & child protection' per card) if they want to take the option.
