SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Inprise Corporation (Nasdaq: INPR - news) today announced the shipment and immediate availability of JBuilder 3 Enterprise, Solaris Edition, a comprehensive visual development tool for creating Pure Java applications, applets, JSP/Servlets, JavaBeans, Enterprise JavaBeans(TM), and distributed CORBA applications for the Java 2 platform. JBuilder 3 Enterprise, Solaris Edition also includes support for the forthcoming Java(TM) 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE).

Inprise Corp. (NASDAQ:INPR - news) rose $1.69, or 16%, to $12.56 and traded to a 52-week high of $13.42. Its shares
have traded up steadily since the beginning of December when it announced its new visual development JBuilder software for
Sun Microsystems’ (NASDAQ:SUNW - news) Solaris operating system.
Inprise Corp. (NASDAQ:INPR - news) gained $4.50, or 33%, to $18.25 after announcing yesterday the release of the JBuilder 3 Foundation, the first version of the product for the Linux operating system.
