(OTC BB: SKPI), an oil and gas company with a development project in the United Arab Emirates, is pleased to provide a drilling progress report on the Mubarek H-2 well. Crescent Petroleum Company International Limited ("Crescent"), the operator of the Mubarek Field, reports that as of March 24th the well was at a drilled depth of 13,845 ft, just above the Ilam/Mishrif reservoir. The well has been cased at this depth and over the coming weeks the well will be drilled to a total depth of approximately 15,000 ft. The well will then be logged and completed prior to testing and tying in to the Mubarek Field production facilities. Production is expected to begin by mid-May 2006. Dutton Associates Raises Sky Petroleum Price Target to $3.90

AUSTIN, TX -- 04/10/2006 -- Sky Petroleum, Inc. (OTC BB: SKPI), an oil and gas exploration company, is pleased to announce that on April 6, 2006, Richard R. Wolfe, CFA of Dutton Associates, reiterated his Buy rating and raised his target price to $3.90.

The following is from the Research Note:

"Based on our review of Sky Petroleum's recently filed annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2005, we are raising our target price on SKPI shares. The new target price is $3.90 and reflects accumulating evidence from SKPI's ongoing drilling program in the Mubarek Field offshore United Arab Emirates. We now believe that our base-case scenario for Mubarek productivity deserves to be assigned a higher probability, and the effect, in our earnings/cash flow model, is to push our estimate of the company's valuation substantially higher (using a combination of cash-flow based and asset-value based valuation methods). We arrive at a median figure for valuation per common share of $3.90, and accordingly, we have set that figure ($3.90 per share) as our new target price for SKPI shares. The new target price is 22% higher than the most recent close (April 5, 2006) of $3.19 per share, and we therefore reaffirm our BUY rating on the shares."

Sky Petroleum Reiterated At ''Speculative Buy/4'' Rating By Investrend Research Affiliate SISM Research, and Maintains Its 12-Month Target Price Of $4.20
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 8, 2006--(Investrend Research Syndicate) Ernest Schlotter an oil and gas analyst with Investrend Research Affiliate SISM Research and a four star analyst according StarMine, has reiterated his Speculative Buy/4 rating for Sky Petroleum, Inc. (OTCBB: SKPI). and maintained his 12-month price of $4.20.

According to SISM's Research Note:

Sky Petroleum, an emerging exploration and development player, commenced its infill-drilling program, aimed at boosting producing in the Mubarek Oil Field in the United Arab Emirates. Its Mubarek H-2 well is the first well drilled and is currently being logged and tested.

Tie-in of the well to production facilities is expected within the next thirty days and the company should become cash flow positive next quarter.

The second well to be drilled by the company should be completed by the end of 2006, and importantly, drilling costs related to the two wells in the Mubarek oil and gas field have been fully paid; Sky has sufficient working capital for 2006 and beyond. In 2007, Sky Petroleum intends to drill an additional four wells, bringing total production in 2008 to more than 9,000 barrels per day.

Sky Petroleum's participation agreement in two low risk Ilam/Mishrif development drilling programs, as well as an option of drilling four more wells could yield more than eleven million barrels of proven reserves net to the company within the next eighteen months and increase the company's NAV to over $140 million. More than 100 million barrels of oil have been produced since 1974, and the recovery rate has yielded between one and twenty-two million barrels per well.

Sky Petroleum will pay SISM Research $1,750 per month over a one-year period solely to ensure independent coverage.

SISM Research, based in Zurich, Switzerland, is a private investment research firm offering high-quality, independent, fundamental research on public companies since 1995. Die Experten von "SISM Research & Investment Services" bekräftigen ihr
Kursziel von 4,20 USD für die Aktie von Sky Petroleum (ISIN
US83083F1021/ WKN A0D93R).

Sky Petroleum Completes Drilling
Oil Saturations Over a 100 ft Section in the Reservoir

AUSTIN, TX, May 24, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Sky Petroleum, Inc. (OTCBB: SKPI), an oil and gas company with a development project in the United Arab Emirates, is pleased to provide a drilling progress report on the Mubarek H-2 well. Crescent Petroleum Company International Limited ("Crescent"), the operator of the Mubarek Field, reports that the drilling of the Mubarek H-2 was completed at a total depth of 15,020 feet (drilled depth). Logging of the well indicates good oil saturations over more than 100 feet in the Ilam/Mishrif reservoir section, and the well has been cased to enable testing of these zones. Testing of the well from the production platform is currently underway, and after the well has stabilized definitive results will be available within 7-10 days.

The Rani Woro jackup rig was released from the Mubarek H-2 drilling location on May 18th after completing and perforating the well, and has moved to another field nearby to drill for another operator. The Rani Woro will return to the Mubarek field to drill the second of two obligation infill wells in the third quarter 2006.

"We are very pleased that we have completed drilling operations and are now only a week or so away from beginning production," said Brent Kinney, chief executive officer at Sky Petroleum, Inc.

Sky Petroleum Updates Testing Program on the Mubarek H2 Well
Further Evaluation Underway to Stabilize Well; H2 Currently Generating Revenue of $200K per Month

AUSTIN, TX, Jun 09, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Sky Petroleum, Inc. (OTCBB: SKPI), an oil and gas company with a development project in the United Arab Emirates, is pleased to provide an update on the testing program regarding the Mubarek H2 well. Crescent Petroleum Company International Limited ("Crescent"), the operator of the Mubarek Field, reports that the well was perforated over 6 zones totaling 129 feet, as two separate tests. The lowest zone was perforated over a 27 foot interval which proved to be water bearing and was sealed off. The second test comprised perforations over 5 zones totaling 102 feet. Testing of this second interval is continuing through the field production facilities.

The well continues to flow in an unstable manner with a high water cut making accurate measurements difficult due to surging of the well. However during periods when the well was flowing in a stable fashion, rates of 168 BOPD and 2259 BWPD were recorded. Further evaluation is underway to investigate methods of shutting off zones which are producing water and carrying out additional stimulation of the zones producing oil. This will include running production logging tools in the well. Depending on results, further acidizing of the well may be involved.

"We are pleased that we are generating revenues, however further evaluation is required on the H2 well in order to stabilize production," said Brent Kinney, chief executive officer of Sky Petroleum, Inc.

Assuming a production rate of 168 BOPD and the current Mubarek crude price of US$65 per barrel, the net forecast monthly revenue to Sky under the terms of the Participation Agreement, after deduction of royalties and operating costs, will be approximately USD $200,000 per month.

Crescent is one of the United Arab Emirates most established and successful integrated low-cost operators with over 30 years of extensive experience in the region. As operator of the Mubarek Field for over three decades, Crescent brings extensive knowledge of the subsurface conditions of the Mubarek Field. Westerburg, 26.
