Detmold (aktiencheck.de AG) - Nach Ansicht der Experten vom "Frankfurter Tagesdienst" sollten sich Anleger von der Aktie von Nortel Networks (ISIN CA6565685089/ WKN A0LENQ) weiterhin fern halten.
Nortel Networks stürze immer tiefer in die Verlustzone. Der Umsatz des Netzwerkausrüsters sei im ersten Quartal 2009 um 37% auf 1,73 Mrd. US-Dollar eingebrochen, während sich der Fehlbetrag mit 507 Mio. US-Dollar knapp vervierfacht habe. Die Zahlen seien damit noch schlechter ausgefallen als ohnehin schon erwartet worden sei.
CEO Mike Zafirovski führe die schlechte Entwicklung unter anderem auf die Wirtschaftskrise zurück. Doch Nortel Networks kämpfe schon seit Jahren mit Problemen, die im Januar zur Beantragung von Gläubigerschutz nach Chapter 11 des US-amerikanischen Insolvenzrechts geführt hätten. Mit Sicherheit verschärfe die weltweite Konjunkturkrise die Schwierigkeiten des Unternehmens zusätzlich, aber das eigentliche Problem sei weiterhin im Unternehmen angesiedelt. Auch als die Konjunktur noch prächtig gelaufen sei, habe es Nortel Networks nicht geschafft, einen nachhaltigen Turnaround auszulösen. Die Aktie des Unternehmens bleibe somit nach wie vor Spielball von nervenstarken Spekulanten.
Ernsthafte Anleger halten sich nach Meinung der Experten vom "Frankfurter Tagesdienst" dagegen von der Aktie von Nortel Networks weiterhin fern. (Ausgabe 71 vom 13.05.2009) (13.05.2009/ac/a/a)

DJ Nokia Siemens Networks bekundet Interesse an Nortel-Assets
BRAMPTON (Dow Jones)--Nokia Siemens Networks könnte daran interessiert sein, einige Assets des kanadischen Telekomausrüsters Nortel nach einer möglichen Aufsplittung zu kaufen. Nokia Siemens Networks sei aber nicht daran interessiert, die Nortel Networks als Ganzes zu erwerben, sagte CEO Mika Vehvilainen am Dienstag.
Seitdem Nortel im Januar Gläubigerschutz beantragt hatte, verfolgt das Unternehmen zwei Strategien. Auf der einen Seite wird eine Neuordnung verfolgt mit dem Ziel, als überlebensfähige Einheit weiter zu bestehen. Auf der anderen Seite versucht das Unternehmen, seine Vermögenswerte zu einem angemessenen Preis zu verkaufen.
Nokia Siemens Networks ist ein Gemeinschaftsunternehmen der finnischen Nokia Corp und der deutschen Siemens AG.
