" ... in 2016 Dudley says that Molycorp, Lynas, Indian Rare Earths and recycling will be the major sources of light rare earth elements for ROW. He further notes that there is a good chance but no certainty that Steemkampskraal, Kazakstan and Dubbo will be in production -- with the latter being the only heavy rare earth element project."

Comparisons are useful in evaluating a company, but in the rare earth market, it's not as simple as a spreadsheet. With so many variables in the mix, no two projects are exactly alike, and each has its relative strengths and weaknesses. But out of hundreds of juniors digging for rare earths and graphite, how can investors evaluate who is likely to be among the handful to finally sell their minerals to end users? In this exclusive interview with The Critical Metals Report, Technology Metals Research Founding Principal Gareth Hatch examines the supply chain to identify advanced companies with good odds for success. He also shares some telling metrics that help show how companies measure up to their peers..http://www.theaureport.com/pub/na/14008

Mining Weekly reported that Great Western Minerals is on track with the refurbishment of the Steenkampskraal rare earth mine in South Africa and is on target to start rare earth production by mid 2013.
As quoted in the news release:
"The company said that while its focus was mainly set on completing the Steenkampskraal monazite mine project, it was actively evaluating strategic spinoff opportunities for its four exploration properties in North America."

"Great Western should be up and running by the end of next year. Its process will produce up to 34t a year of dysprosium. But this supply is already dedicated to existing customer orders for magnet material. The company won't be putting any of that on the market. And Lynas, by the way, has no such intention either with its light rare earths and mixtures of them. I was told that they have been presold on long-term contracts."

Also auf long gibts hier ein OK
gruss

"In terms of company visibility, we have been told by a number of analysts that the PEA is a cornerstone for additional coverage - we continue to work on new coverage in the U.S. and Canada and plan to market the PEA extensively - with institutions, analysts, media, etc. - we are working the game plan for the PEA release, and leading up to it as we are cognizant of it being a pivot point for many with GWMG.....Dwight"
