lz Frankfurt - "Am Ende wird das Eurosystem seine Lehman-Forderungen wohl komplett zurückerhalten", zeigte sich Bundesbank-Vorstand Joachim Nagel optimistisch. Die Notenbanken der Eurozone kommen damit aus der Lehman-Pleite wohl mehr als glimpflich davon. Denn bis 2008 hatte die Bundesbank verbriefte Hypothekenkredite (ABS) der Bank für das Eurosystem in Höhe von 8,5 Mrd. Euro akzeptiert. Zusammen mit den Abwicklungskosten sowie den aufgelaufenen Zinsforderungen belief sich die Gesamtforderung sogar auf 9,3 Mrd. Euro.


Nagel kann nun melden, dass die Verwertung der durch die geldpolitischen Refinanzierungsgeschäfte eingeräumten Pfandrechte auf das Lehman-Vermögen schon viereinhalb Jahre nach dem Zusammenbruch der US-Investmentbank weit fortgeschritten sind: 7,4 Mrd. Euro wurden aus den Verkäufen der Lehman-Sicherheiten an Private-Equity-Fonds, Hedgefonds, Banken und andere auf Insolvenzverwertung spezialisierte Finanzakteure erzielt ...
