Beste Grüsse
However, given the already very bullish narrative surrounding the company, I wondered if shareholders were getting carried away by the promises of the secular growth in the video-streaming industry and ignoring the effort as well as high expenditures required for iQIYI to stay on top of the game..."

"For the second quarter of 2018, iQIYI expects total net revenues to be between RMB5.80 billion (US$924.0 million) and RMB6.04 billion (US$963.1 million), representing a 42% to 48% increase from the same period in 2017."
iQIYi's innovative business model and focus on technology has allowed it to take a leading position in the competitive environment of China's entertainment industry. iQIYI was the first company in the Chinese online entertainment sphere to explore a paid membership initiative and in 2017 the platform's number of paid users skyrocketed. iQIYI's wide range of original content and marketing efforts means it is also able retain users' loyalty, with a report from Analysis International indicating that iQIYI's number of monthly active users is the highest in the industry.

Hatte mir exakt solch eine Reaktion gewünscht heute...Glückwunsch zu deinem erneuten Einstieg heute Körnig! Das nenne ich Mut ;-)
Das ist meine Meinung keine Handelsempfehlung
Because iQiyi is a very young stock with nearly no operating history as a stand-alone business, the stock is prone to wild swings. With only one quarterly earnings report under its belt so far, the video services vendor hasn't given investors a clear idea of what the business should be worth. In this category, share prices can make wild swings on the slightest of news -- or for no reason at all.
After this sudden correction -- again, on no real news in any language I can understand -- iQiyi investors are still enjoying a 58% gain over the last month alone. The stock has doubled since its IPO in march...."

"Investors willing to take on additional risk for the potential of life-changing returns don't need to resort to currency speculation, but can instead invest in a recently public, well-backed business involved in a paradigm shift in consumer behavior. Knowing what they know now, few investors would have passed on the chance to invest in Netflix when streaming video was first taking hold.
While more than half of consumers in the U.S. pay for a streaming service, that number is still far lower in China, currently at only about 13%. In previous years, Chinese consumers were content to use ad-supported services and piracy to satisfy their entertainment needs, but the tide is turning. One company that is positioned to capitalize on this growing trend is iQiyi (pronounced i-chee-yee), which is often referred to as "The Netflix of China," and one of the largest providers of streaming video in the Middle Kingdom..The company recently completed its IPO in a spinoff from Chinese search giant Baidu , which is still the majority shareholder....There are plenty of other reasons to like iQiyi going forward. The company has more than 50 million paying subscribers and many more who still use the ad-supported option, giving the company a fertile field for growth. iQiyi recently partnered with JD.com to allow consumers to sign up for a premium membership,"
Revenues have grown by 226% in the last two years, but the company is not returning positive free cash flow at the moment.
Baidu owns 93.3% of the voting power of iQiyi. Some investors will perceive this fact as an issue.
iQiyi has registered revenues from the services paid by Baidu.
I cannot say whether the board of directors is independent.
With significant revenue growth and having Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU) as a shareholder, many investors will appreciate iQiyi (NASDAQ:IQ). I believe that growth will continue. However, in this article, I will provide some details about the way iQiyi is preparing its cash flow statement. Additionally, I will present some details about several transactions between BIDU and iQiyi that shareholders need to know.....

...While the revenue growth is fantastic, the company is not profitable at the moment. The free cash flow also is negative. The company shows net positive cash, provided by operating activities, of $616 million in 2017. However, including the amortization of licensed copyrights, the FCF is negative. ...
