AKTUELLE MELDUNGEN ÜBER SURIGAO-PROJEKTE Bohrarbeiten in mehreren
Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Projekten geplant EDMONTON, AB; August 2005 - Mindoro
Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: MIO; Frankfurt: OLM) gab heute Neues über das
Jointventure von Surigao auf der Insel Mindanao auf den Philippinen bekannt. Im
vergangenen Jahr wurden in Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Zielen in den Projekten
Explorationen in zwei Phasen durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse von Phase 1 der
umfassenden geophysischen Studien wurden in den Pressemitteilungen vom 8. und
18. Januar 2005 veröffentlicht. Das Programm von Phase Zwei, das die
Detailuntersuchungen für die Bohrziele umfasste, wurde kürzlich
abgeschlossen. Insgesamt wurden sieben bis acht Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Ziele
definiert. Fünf der Ziele in Tapian San Francisco und Agata sind jetzt
bohrbereit. " Mindoro war seit 1997 intensiv bemüht, diese Projekte
voranzubringen, und hielt auch in schwierigen Jahren an ihnen fest. Wir freuen
uns sehr, dass wir so viele Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Projekte entdeckt haben. Nun
sehen wir den großen Bohrprogrammen in diesen Zielgebieten in diesem und
in kommenden Jahren mit Spannung entgegen" , soTony Climie, Präsident von
Mindoro. In Tapian San Francisco, einem Gebiet, das ca. acht Kilometer von den
Goldlagerstätten von Anglo-Philex Gold in Boyongan und Bayogo entfernt
liegt und strukturell ähnliche Bedingungen aufweist, wurde im vergangenen
Jahr mittels Studien über induzierte Polarisierung (IP) eine
Anhäufung von sieben geophysischen Anomalien entdeckt. Von diesen
Anomalien wurden zwei Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Projekte, C5 und C6 genannt, bis zum
Bohrstadium entwickelt. Beide zeichnen sich durch umfassende Anomalien der
IP-Aufladbarkeit mit darüber liegenden Widerstandsanomalien als
klassisches Porphyr-Erscheinungsbild aus. Hinzu kommen eine
Porphyr-Gesteinsumwandlung sowie geochemische Kupfer-, Gold- und Zinkanomalien
im Boden. In C6 wurden Kupfer, Gold, Zink und Molybdänminieralisierungen
festgestellt. In C5 wurden stark mineralisierte Blöcke von Gangbrekzien
von Diorit gefunden, die als " Lecks" von nahe gelegenen
Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Mineralisierungen interpretiert wurden. Mehrere andere
Projekte in Tapian San Francisco haben das Potenzial, im nächsten Jahr bis
zum Bohrstadium entwickelt zu werden. IP-Studien im Agata-Projekt haben
besonders starke und umfassende Anomalien der Aufladbarkeit ergeben, ebenfalls
in einer günstigen strukturellen Umgebung nahe dem Schnittpunkt von
Querverwerfungen mit der philippinischen Verwerfung. Bei Bohrungen im
Assmicor-Projekt stieß Mindoro 1999 auf eine Porphyr-Venenmineralisierung.
Derzeit wird daran gearbeitet, die Porphyr-Projekte von Agata North und South
bis zum Bohrstadium zu entwickeln. Starke und umfassende Anomalien der
Aufladbarkeit mit korrelierenden Kupfer-Zink-Anomalien im Boden, einer
umfassenden Gesteinsumwandlung und Brüchen sowie mehreren
Kupferfundstellen wurden in Agata North definiert. Die übereinander
liegenden Anomalien lassen auf ein in der Tiefe liegendes
Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-System schließen. In Agata South wurde eine große
und sehr starke Aufladbarkeitsanomalie mit angrenzenden
Resistivitätsanomalien festgestellt. Eine Porphyr-Umwandlung in der
Nähe wurde durch geologische Kartierung erfasst. Umfassende Kupfer-Gold-
und Zink-Anomalien im Boden wurden ebenso definiert wie Kupferfunde und
reichhaltige epithermale Goldprojekte, von denen einige im kleinen Rahmen
abgebaut werden. Diese vielfachen übereinander liegenden Anomalien sind
ein starker Hinweis auf die Präsenz eines in der Tiefe liegenden
Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Systems. Derzeit werden mit dem Jointventure-Partner von
Mindoro Details des Feldprogramms von 2005-2006 finalisiert, wobei geplant ist,
die Bohrarbeiten in drei bis vier der Kupfer-Gold-Projekte von Surigao
aufzunehmen. Die Bohrarbeiten in Agata werden voraussichtlich in den
nächsten Monaten beginnen. Das Jointventure von Surigao besitzt eines der
größten Gebiete im Surigao Gold District, in denen in den letzten
Jahren mehrere signifikante Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Lagerstätten entdeckt
wurden (Karten auf der Mindoro Website). Partner des Surigao Jointventure sind
Mindoro, Minimax Mineral Exploration Corp., ein privates philippinisches
Unternehmen, und Panoro Minerals Ltd., der aktuelle Finanzierungspartner. An
der Produktion können sowohl Mindoro als auch Panoro mit jeweils 42,5 %
beteiligt sein, wobei Minimax 15% halten kann. Die Arbeiten werden unter der
Aufsicht von Tony Climie, P.Geol., durchgeführt, der ein gemäß

Larger Capacity Drill Rig Moved to Pica; Additional Ground Acquired to Cover El Paso

Mindoro Resources Ltd. (TSXV: MIO; Frankfurt: OLM) today announced an update on activities on its Batangas Projects in the Philippines, which include the Lobo and Archangel Projects. The first hole on the Pica porphyry copper-gold prospect at Lobo was abandoned at a depth of 436 meters due to technical difficulties. The drill hole is within a porphyry copper-gold system and is interpreted as being near to the main mineralized core of that system. A larger capacity drill rig has been moved onto Pica and will commence drilling a second hole within a week. Additional land has been applied for to cover the El Paso porphyry copper-gold prospect. Total land holdings in the Batangas copper-gold belt are now 24,589 hectares.
Pica Porphyry Prospect
As reported on June 22, 2005, independent petrographic (microscope) work on alteration and mineralization features intersected to date in the first drill hole at Pica, especially the presence of potassium feldspar alteration and the copper mineral chalcopyrite, confirms that Pica is a porphyry copper-gold system. The drill hole is interpreted as being in the upper or outer parts of the mineralization system. Very heavily clay-altered and fractured rock encountered in the bottom 80 meters created drilling difficulties that led to the abandonment of the drill hole at a depth of 436 meters. The core contains sections of cross-cutting quartz veins, containing abundant pyrite, magnetite and minor chalcopyrite. From 385 meters to 425 meters, a distance of 40 meters, the core assayed 0.13 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. Short sections, three meters in length, of the drill core assayed up to 0.12 percent copper, with an overall average of 201 parts per million copper over the 376 meters of core sampled. Silicification is increasing with depth. The anomalous gold and copper values are consistent with being proximal to the core mineralization of the porphyry system.
A larger capacity drill rig that is better able to handle the drilling conditions, and which is under contract with Diamond Drilling Corporation of the Philippines, has been mobilized to the site to commence drilling a second hole 150 meters away. Drilling will continue, in this and subsequent drill holes, with the objective of intersecting the central core of potassic alteration, which is associated with the highest grades of porphyry copper-gold deposits. The Pica prospect is reflected by a large and strong geophysical (induced polarization) anomaly covering approximately 1.5 kilometers by two kilometers.
El Paso Porphyry Prospect
An additional 3,003 hectares of land have been applied for under an Exploration Permit Application to cover extensions of the El Paso porphyry copper-gold prospect in the northern part of the Batangas tenements where Mindoro recently commenced work. A map showing the latest tenement situation, and main prospects located to date, is posted on the Mindoro website at www.mindoro.com. Numerous copper-gold showings associated with quartz veining have been located and mapped within an area of approximately two kilometers by five kilometers. A total of 15 widely separated samples were collected over short intervals, averaging 1.5 meters in width. The 15 samples averaged 3.0 percent copper and 0.27 g/t gold.
The mineralization is associated with potassic alteration (secondary biotite and potassium feldspar) confirming that mineralization is related to a porphyry copper-gold system. The setting is similar to the Taysan porphyry copper-gold prospect of Phelps Dodge, located 11 kilometers to the west of El Paso. Taysan has an estimated resource of 600 million tons grading 0.31 percent copper and 0.3 g/t gold and contains a higher grade section of 120 million tons grading 0.9 percent copper and 0.9 g/t gold.
Geological and geochemical work is in progress at El Paso. Geophysical surveying is planned to commence soon and, if justified by results, this will be followed by drilling.
Additional Work in Progress on the Batangas Projects
Elsewhere on the Batangas Projects the induced polarization surveys continue over porphyry copper-gold prospects on the Archangel Project. Work is also ongoing to establish the gold resource on the Archangel epithermal gold-silver prospect and to evaluate its open-pit, heap-leach development potential. Within a month an induced polarization survey is scheduled to commence over the Mt. Calo high-sulphidation epithermal copper-gold showings to explore for related, underlying porphyry copper-gold mineralization. Additional results from the Batangas projects will be reported in the near future.
Work is carried out under the supervision Tony Climie P. Geol., President of Mindoro, and a "qualified person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

Verlegung eines größeren Bohrgeräts nach Pica; Erwerb eines zusätzlichen Grundstück für El Paso
EDMONTON, AB; August 2005 - Mindoro Resources Ltd. (TSXV: MIO; Frankfurt: OLM) meldete heute eine neue Initiative auf seinen Batangas Projekten auf den Philippinen, die aus den Projekten Lobo und Archangel besteht. Das erste Bohrloch im Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Zielgebiet von Pica in Lobo wurde aufgrund von technischen Problemen bei einer Tiefe von 436 Metern aufgegeben. Das Bohrloch befindet sich innerhalb eines Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Systems, und es wird davon ausgegangen, dass es in der Nähe des mineralisierten Hauptkerns dieses Systems liegt. Nun wurde ein größeres Bohrgerät nach Pica verlegt, und innerhalb einer Woche soll mit den Bohrarbeiten für ein zweites Loch begonnen werden. Für das Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Projekt wurde ein zusätzliches Grundstück beantragt. Insgesamt hat der Pachtgrund im Kupfer-Gold-Gürtel von Batangas nun eine Fläche von 24.589 Hektar.
Porphyr-Projekt von Pica
Wie am 22. Juni 2005 berichtet, bestätigen die unabhängigen petrografischen (mikroskopischen) Studien über Alterations- und Mineralisierungsmerkmale, die bisher im ersten Bohrloch in Pica durchgeführt wurden, insbesondere die Präsenz einer Kalifeldspatalteration und des Kupferminerals Kupferkies, dass es sich bei Pica um ein Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-System handelt. Es wird davon ausgegangen, dass sich das Bohrloch in den oberen oder äußeren Teilen des Mineralisierungssystems befindet. Das stark lehmalterierte und gebrochene Gestein, auf das man in den letzten 80 Metern stieß, führte zu Bohrschwierigkeiten, in deren Folge das Bohrloch bei einer Tiefe von 436 m aufgegeben wurde. Der Kern enthält Abschnitte quer verlaufender Quarzadern, die große Mengen an Pyrit, Magnetit und etwas Kupferkies enthalten. Von 385 Meter bis 425 Meter enthielt der Kern über eine Strecke von 40 Metern 0,13 Gramm/Tonne (g/t) Gold. Kurze, 3 Meter lange Abschnitte des Bohrkerns enthielten bis zu 0,12 Prozent Kupfer, wobei der allgemeine Kupferdurchschnitt bei 201 Teilen pro Million über die 376 Meter Kern lag, von denen Proben genommen wurden. Die Silizifikation nimmt mit der Tiefe zu. Die anormalen Gold- und Kupferwerte sind konsistent und finden sich in der Nähe der Kernmineralisierung des Porphyr-Systems.
Nun wurde ein für die Bohrbedingungen besser geeignetes größeres Bohrgerät von der Diamond Drilling Corporation of the Philippines gemietet, mobilisiert und an den Standort gebracht, wo 150 Meter entfernt ein zweites Loch gebohrt werden soll. Die Bohrarbeiten werden an diesem und an weiteren Bohrlöchern fortgesetzt werden, mit dem Ziel, auf den zentralen Kern der Potassic-Umwandlung zu stoßen, die mit den hochwertigsten Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Lagerstätten verbunden ist. Pica zeichnet sich durch eine große und starke geophysische Anomalie (induzierte Polarisierung) aus, die sich über ein ca. 1,5 mal 2 Kilometer großes Gebiet erstreckt.
Porphyr-Projekt von El Paso
Mit einer Exploration Permit Application (Explorationsgenehmigungsantrag) wurde ein Antrag auf zusätzliche 3.003 Hektar Grund für das Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Projekt von El Paso im nördlichen Teil der Batangas-Pachtgebiete, in denen Mindoro vor kurzem die Arbeit aufnahm, gestellt. Eine Karte, aus der die neueste Pachtgrundsituation und die bisher identifizierten Hauptzielgebiete hervorgehen, findet sich auf der Website von Mindoro unter www.mindoro.com. Zahlreiche Kupfer-Gold-Vorkommen, die mit Quarzadern assoziiert sind, wurden entdeckt und auf der Karte in einem Gebiet von ca. 2 mal 5 Kilometer eingezeichnet. Insgesamt wurden in kurzen Zeitintervallen 15 Proben von weit auseinander liegenden, durchschnittlich 1,5 Meter breiten Stellen genommen. Die 15 Proben enthielten im Durchschnitt 3,0 Prozent Kupfer und 0,27 g/t Gold.
Die Mineralisierung geht mit einer Potassic-Alteration (sekundärer Biotit und Kalifeldspat) einher, was bestätigt, dass die Mineralisierung in einem Zusammenhang mit einem Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-System steht. Die Situation ist ähnlich der des Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Zielgebiets von Phelps Dodge in Taysan, das 11 Kilometer westlich von El Paso liegt. Taysan verfügt über geschätzte Ressourcen von 600 Millionen Tonnen mit 0,31 Prozent Kupfer und 0,3 g/t Gold und enthält einen höherwertigen Abschnitt mit 120 Millionen Tonnen 0,9 Prozent Kupfer und 0,9 g/t Gold.
Derzeit werden in El Paso geologische und geochemische Studien durchgeführt. Die geophysischen Studien werden voraussichtlich bald beginnen, und Bohrarbeiten werden folgen, wenn die Ergebnisse die Aufnahme der Arbeiten rechtfertigen.
Zusätzliche Arbeiten in den Batangas-Projekten im Gang
Andernorts in den Batangas Projekten werden die Messungen der induzierten Polarisierung in Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Zielen im Projekt von Archangel fortgesetzt. Außerdem wird daran gearbeitet, die Goldressource im epithermalen Gold-Silber-Zielgebiet von Archangel zu erkunden und ihr Potenzial für Tagbau und Auslaugverfahren festzustellen. Innerhalb eines Monats soll mit einer Messung der induzierten Polarisierung über den epithermalen Kupfer-Gold-Lagerstätten mit hoher Sulfidierung begonnen werden, um die verbundene darunter liegende Porphyr-Kupfer-Gold-Mineralisierung zu erforschen. Zusätzliche Ergebnisse von den Batangas-Projekten werden demnächst bekannt gegeben.
Die Arbeiten werden unter der Aufsicht des Präsidenten von Mindoro, Tony Climie, P.Geol., durchgeführt, der ein gemäß National Instrument 43-101 qualifizierter Sachverständiger ist.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 4, 2005) - Mindoro Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MIO - News; FWB:OLM) is pleased to report that high-grade copper trench results, along with coincident soil copper and induced polarization anomalies, have confirmed the presence of a porphyry copper-gold target on the Company's El Paso Prospect in the Philippines. El Paso is located within the Batangas Projects, a 24,000 ha land package in southern Luzon which also includes the Lobo and Archangel Projects.
El Paso is located within a major structural boundary between the older San Juan Diorite basement to the northeast and younger intrusive and volcanic rocks to the southwest. The Taysan porphyry copper-gold deposit of Phelps Dodge also occurs in this very favorable structural setting, 11 kilometers to the northwest. Taysan has an estimated resource of 600 million tons grading 0.31 percent copper and 0.3 g/t gold and contains a higher grade section of 120 million tons grading 0.9 percent copper and 0.9 g/t gold (Chase Resources Engineering Report, 1995).
Work at El Paso indicates significant and widespread copper-gold mineralization occurs associated with the younger andesite porphyry intrusions, as well as the older, more eroded San Juan Diorite. The mineralization associated with the former is the principal target. Reconnaissance IP surveys defined chargeability and resistivity anomalies in the North Sector of El Paso. The IP expression resembles that of Philippine porphyry copper-gold systems. The anomalies are open to the north, west and east and the IP crew is being mobilized now to extend the survey. An orientation soil geochemistry line defined strong copper-in soil anomalies coincident with the IP anomalies. Phyllic and biotite-altered float have been found in the area, as well as copper mineralization in volcanics and intrusive rocks.
In the South Sector of the El Paso prospect, copper mineralization had been known historically and was tested with shallow drill holes by a previous operator in the mid-nineties. Results are unknown. However, the South Sector tested by drilling is not associated with significant IP anomalies and is considered to represent copper mineralization on the periphery of the porphyry copper-gold system. Current work is focusing 500 meters to the north, on the North Sector, and extending north, east and west from there. Maps are being prepared which will be posted on the Mindoro website in due course.
The results of a trenching and channel sampling program, carried out in parts of both the North and South Sectors, appear in the accompanying table. High copper values in the 1% plus range were outlined in most trenches over lengths from three meters to 30 meters. El Paso brings the number of porphyry copper-gold targets defined on the Batangas Projects to approximately ten. Drilling is in progress on the Pica Prospect, the first of these to be drill-tested. As reported on June 22, 2005, independent petrographic work on alteration and mineralization intersected in the first drill hole confirmed that Pica is a porphyry copper-gold system. A larger capacity drill rig, better able to handle the drilling conditions, was mobilized to the site in late August to commence drilling a second hole 150 meters away. Results from hole two will be reported in the near future.
Work is carried out under the supervision of Tony Climie P. Geol., President of Mindoro, and a "qualified person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 5, 2005) - Mindoro Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MIO - News; FWB:OLM) today announced the appointment of A. Robson Garden, Q.C., to the company's board of directors.

Mr. Garden, a resident of Calgary, is a senior partner with the law firm MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman. Mr. Garden has more than 30 years' experience in his primary areas of practice: natural resources law, labor and employment law, and administrative law. He has extensive experience in the mining industry, having served as general counsel for Uranerz Exploration and Mining Ltd., a major German mining corporation, where he negotiated a number of exploration joint venture agreements with major international corporations. Mr. Garden has also acted as corporate secretary to several corporations and mining joint ventures.
Mr. Garden currently serves as corporate secretary to the Management Committee of the Cigar Lake Joint Venture and as a director of Golden Band Resources, a Canadian exploration company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The Company has granted to Mr. Garden, subject to regulatory approval, an option to purchase 150,000 common shares at a price of $0.48 per share for a five-year term.
