Blutiger Streik: Südafrika - Zahl der Toten steigt

Eigentlich sollte es nur ein Streik sein, mit dem man höhere Gehälter durchsetzen wollte. Doch aus einem Arbeitsaufstand wird eine blutige Katastrophe. Seit Dienstag haben Arbeiter der Platinmine von Marikana einen Hügel in der Nähe der südafrikanischen Stadt Rustenburg besetzt. Sie fordern von ihrem Arbeitgeber Lonmin (WKN: 856046) höhere Löhne. Derzeit verdienen die Arbeiter im Durchschnitt umgerechnet zwischen 400 Euro und 500 Euro. Sie wollen jedoch mit ihrem Arbeitskampf einen Lohn von bis zu 1.200 Euro durchsetzen. Lonmin lehnt dies ab, man verweist auf aktuelle Tarifverträge, die noch bis 2013 gelten. Daher will man auch keine Verhandlungen mit den Gewerkschaften aufnehmen..

Mir sind bis dahin nur RMC und SYR von deinen aufgelisteten picks bekannt. ;-)

RMC hat einen feinen JV-Deal mit Freeport abgeschlossen und wird nun kaum Risikokapital auf dem Discovery-Projekt in Zukunft mehr haben, da Freeport die Projektentwicklung finanzieren will. Im Gegenzug gibt RMC mehr und mehr Projektanteile an Freeport. So wird Freeport nach einer mögl. FS 75% an Timok halten. Der Aktienkurs von RMC ist aufgrund des hervorragenden Newsflow die letzten Monate stark gestiegen. Kommt langsam in den überkauften Bereich, würde auf eine Abkühlung warten. Langfristig ist im Hinblick auf RMC's aktuelle Bewertung noch erhebliches Potential vorhanden. Dasselbe gilt für SYR.
