YTC Resources - Ein schlafender Riese?
YTC Resources Limited (“YTC” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce further strong copper results from its ongoing drilling programme beneath the historic Nymagee Copper Mine.
Holes NMD002 and NMD002W1 were drilled as a parent and wedge hole approximately 40m and 60m north of the high grade copper results recorded in drill holes NMD001 and NMD001W1.
NMD002 and NMD002W1 recorded results of:
NMD002: 11m @ 3.7% Cu and 15.7g/t Ag from 401m, including 5m @ 6.1% Cu and 27g/t Ag from 401m
NMD002W1: 15m @ 1.6% Cu and 7.2g/t Ag from 346m, including 6m @ 2.7% Cu and 9.2g/t Ag from 355m

weil es sich so schön lesen läßt:
The parent hole, NMD002, has also recorded numerous footwall copper zones, also observed in holes NMD001 and NMD007.
YTC believes that, consistent with the CSA model, these footwall zones have potential to evolve into „blind‟ high -grade copper lenses at depth.
Hole NMD002 recorded the following footwall zone intercepts:
19m @ 0.38% Cu from 105m
10.2m @ 0.86% Cu from 155m
4m @ 1.9% Cu from 315m
20m @ 0.32% Cu from 381m
Dear M.
Thanks you for your email and your continued support for YTC.
We are very pleased with the strong results from Nymagee and look forward to further good results as the drilling programme continues.
When referring to “blind” lenses, we are talking about lenses which do not reach the surface. In the Cobar area, a number of other deposits, including the very large CSA mine, have high grade lenses which do not reach the surface, or a re “blind” at surface.
I hope this explanation is helpful.
Kind Regards
Rimas Kairaitis

FROM the update file comes the news that the share price of Chinese-backed Orange-based gold/copper group YTC Resources (ASX: YTC) has motored ahead since last week's Garimpeiro item on the unfolding potential of the exploration program beneath the historic Nymagee copper mine.
YTC closed on Friday at 37¢ a share, making it a 30 per cent gain for the week. The move along came with fresh results from the Nymagee drilling campaign.
Drill holes to the north of previously reported high hits returned 11 metres grading 3.7 per cent copper from 401 metres and 15 metres at 1.6 per cent copper from 346 metres.
The company said the drilling had now defined good continuity of high-grade copper mineralisation over 200 metres, increasing its confidence that it can define a ''significant copper resource.''
Chief executive Rimas Kairaitis reckons it has ''great potential to evolve into a major mineral system consistent with other Cobar systems''. Those ''Cobar systems'' have been shown elsewhere in the region to be capable of hosting 1.5 million tonnes of copper. There is lots more work to do before the Nymagee program proves anything like that.
But it is certainly one to watch in 2011.
Further results from the ongoing drilling programme are anticipated within the next
two weeks.
Die letzten Kursschübe beziehen sich auf Kupfer auf Nymagee - YTC hat aber noch Drillprogramme auf Hera und oder Zeus. Wir dürfen gespannt sein.
Die DSF-studie steht auch noch aus.
Gruß
