Global Hemp Group Inc. schließt weitere Hanf-Lieferverträge in Alberta, Kanada ab
CNSX: GHG / Frankfurt & Xetra: GHG / OTC: GBHPF
Surrey, British Columbia, 30. April 2014: GLOBAL HEMP GROUP INC.

Global Hemp Capital, Hempsmart Inc. , Global Hemp Ventures, Global Hemp Development, Global Hemp Trading, Global Hemp Advisors, Global Hemp Biotech
Denke hierzu werden auch bald News folgen.
Ich bleib LONG !!
NEWS :
Hemp Seeds Finally Make It to Kentucky
By Matthew Hawes on May 23, 2014 in National Blog
After some back and forth with the Drug Enforcement Administration, including Kentucky agriculture officials filing suit against the federal government, the contested hemp seeds have made it to the Bluegrass State.
Via USA Today:
FRANKFORT, Ky. — The state Department of Agriculture received its first legal shipment of hemp seeds in years at around noon Friday with about a week to go before it’s too late to plant.
After federal officials detained the seeds for more than a week at Louisville International Airport, agriculture officials obtained a federal Drug Enforcement Administration permit late Thursday, the last federal hurdle to getting the seed.
As previously reported by Campaign for Liberty, a pro-hemp amendment offered by Representatives Jared Polis (CO-2), Earl Blumenauer (OR-3), and Thomas Massie (KY-4) was successfully attached to the Farm Bill and turned into law. The amendment allows “colleges and universities to grow and cultivate industrial hemp for agricultural and research purposes” and only applies “in states where industrial hemp growth and cultivation is already allowed by state law, like Kentucky and Colorado.”
In a press release sent after the Polis/Blumenauer/Massie amendment passed the House 225-200 in June 2013, Representative Massie stated, “Industrial hemp is used for hundreds of products including paper, clothing, rope, and can be converted into renewable bio-fuels more efficiently than corn or switch grass…. It’s our goal that the research this amendment enables would further broadcast the economic benefits of the sustainable and job-creating crop.”
Here’s hoping such research quickly achieves this goal, as C4L members and other grassroots activists continue working to remove federal restrictions on hemp and give state and local economies some much-needed help.
" What a week for the industrial hemp movement. South Carolina passed a bill lifting hemp prohibition, while in Illinois and Michigan, legalization bills are advancing rapidly. Best of all, as of today, Kentucky farmers can start planting hemp legally for the first time in decades. The momentum grows daily - let's keep it growing strong! "
Every day, more and more Americans discover the benefits of hemp. This ever-expanding market includes healthy food and body care products, as well as eco-friendly textiles, clothing, auto parts, and building materials. But despite hemp’s growing popularity, an outdated and misguided Federal policy – created in the 1930s – currently prevents U.S. farmers from growing this nutritious, versatile, and eco-friendly crop.
It is time for Federal policy on industrial hemp to reflect today’s reality and ensure a better tomorrow for America’s families and farmers, the economy and our planet. It’s Time to Grow!
The 4th Annual Hemp History Week was a huge success with over 880 events held nation-wide!

Under the contract, Global Hemp Group will purchase 20 percent of the HempNatura brand for $250,000 USD, subject to certain financial conditions, and bring it into the GHG family of companies. About HempNatura’s nutrition products:
Hemp is a complete protein and a very nutritious option to meat-based protein.
Approximately 44% of the weight of hempseed is edible oils, containing about 80% fattyacids (EFAs); e.g., linoleic acid, omega-6 (LA, 55%), alpha-linolenic acid, omega-3 (ALA, 22%), in addition to gamma-linolenic acid, omega-6 (GLA, 1-4%) and stearidonic acid, omega-3 (SDA, 0-2%). Proteins (including edestin) are the other major component (33%).
Hemp protein contains all nutritionally significant amino acids, including the 9 essential ones (12) adult bodies cannot produce. Hempseed’s amino acid profile is complete” when compared to more common sources of proteins such as meat, milk, eggs and soy.(11) Proteins are considered complete when they contain all the essential amino acids in sufficient quantities and ratios to meet the body’s needs. The proportions of linoleic acid and alphalinolenic acid in one tablespoon (15 ml) per day of hemp oil easily provides human daily requirements for EFAs.
Hemp is proven to be a carbon negative crop that requires relatively little water, as well as no herbicides or pesticides. For these reasons Hemp is a source of protein that is as good for the environment as it is for people. Hemp is quite the opposite of the highly destructive livestock industry, which causes global warming through its massive production of greenhouse gasses and rampant deforestation in order to more ranch lands for cows and pigs.
About HempNatura’s body care products:
Hemp seed oil is renowned for its skin moisturizing and rejuvenating properties, and hemp has the highest concentration of essential fatty acids (EFAs) of any essential oil, as well as the perfect balance of Omega 3 and Omega 6 EFAs. Essential fatty acids have the ability to enter directly into the lipid layers of your skin cells and hair follicles, replenishing the oils that are missing due to sun exposure, poor nutrition or neglect-clinical studies show this can actually slow down the aging effects on skin.

SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 29, 2014) - GLOBAL HEMP GROUP INC. ("GHG" or the "Company") (PINKSHEETS:GBHPF)(CSE:GHG)(FRANKFURT:GHG) announced today that Rod Lanier has joined its Board of Advisors to advise GHG in all aspects of industrial hemp cultivation.
Rod Lanier brings a lifetime of agriculture experience to GHG. A third generation farmer, he manages NeverIdle Farm Ltd., a 3,300-acre operation in Alberta started by his grandfather in 1909. Through Lanier's management, NeverIdle has participated in a variety of cropping and soil projects with national and provincial agencies in Canada, and NeverIdle was a regional pioneer in sustainable "no-till" farming, which encourages moisture retention, soil biodiversity and erosion control.
Lanier has also been active in education and research around innovative agricultural techniques. He was a director of the Science Alberta Foundation, a founding member of the Palliser Agriculture Management Society, and has conducted research and education through the Canadian Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food.
Lanier is versed in the cultivation of industrial hemp as well: NeverIdle added hemp to its crop rotation seven years ago, as part of its commitment to optimizing soil health by growing different crop varieties on a rotation cycle. Hemp has become an integral part of NeverIdle's ecology strategy, and its profitability.
"Hemp is a rewarding crop to grow," said Lanier. "It has multiple uses from food to fabric to components, and provides many profitable market opportunities. Hemp is not a new crop but may well be the innovative crop of the 21st century."
Lanier joins GHG at a crucial juncture for the company. GHG recently contracted with a group a farms in Alberta to grow hemp on 1,500 acres led by Lanier, and plans to ramp up its cultivation operations significantly in the near future.
