Ucore Rare Earth - USA braucht seltene Erden HREE

Die Newsmeldung vom 12.5.15 erscheint zwar auf englisch und deutsch, ist aber leider nur in Fachchinesisch abgefasst. Eine Erklärung für Otto Normalverbraucher, um wieviel Prozent die Ressource jetzt größer erscheint oder was die Implikationen für die Chancen der weiteren Erschließung sind, fehlt leider, dadurch ist die Meldung für mich und wohl auch die meisten anderen wertlos.

Noch in diesem Jahr soll eine Versuchsanlage zur umweltschonenden und kostengünstigen Extraktion von schweren seltenen Erden (MRT-Technologie) entstehen, und sich mit Bodenproben der Bokan-Dotson Ridge in Alaska und auch mit Proben anderer Lokalitäten befassen. Bei erfolgreicher Produktion soll diese Anlage als Prototyp für größere Anlagen fungieren.

Ben Kramer-Miller beschreibt einige Unsicherheiten der angestrebten Aufbereitungstechnik MRT, natürlich bringt jeder neue Weg auch Unsicherheiten mit sich, aber man investiert in eine umweltfreundlichere Technologie, ist es doch ein Widerspruch, dass Umwelttechnik mit Rohstoffen entsteht, die mit großen Umweltbelastungen gefördert werden. MRT hat sich in anderen Bereichen schon bewährt, z.B. bei der Platinförderung in Südafrika (Impala Platinum), Ucors Versuchsanlage soll im ersten Quartal 2016 fertig werden, möglicherweise übertreibt Ben K-M die Risiken, da er bei der Konkurrenz (Texas Rare Earth Resources und Medallion Resources) investiert ist.

Ende Februar soll die Versuchsanlage fertig werden, mit der man die Wirksamkeit der MRT-Technik für schwere seltene Erden demonstrieren kann. Auch für andere Metalle wie Lithium könnte sie interessant werden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-kecO6v-R0

Wer ausser Jack Lifton glaubt den an die Wirtschaftlichkeit von Super Lüg;-) gluck, gluck Wo wurde denn dass im 1000 Tonnemassstab zur Seperation von kritischen Metallen eingesetzt? Quelle bitte!

Warum allerdings dieser relativ gut gelaufene und erfolgversprechende Wert so viel weniger Zugriffe auf die Forumsbeiträge verzeichnet als die total abgestürzte Aktie "Stans Energy" mit Mini-Handelsvolumina, die sich auch mit schweren seltenen Erden beschäftigt (heute z.B. 9 für Ucore, 47 für Stans Energy), ist mir rätselhaft.

Commerce Resources Corp. Enters Development MOU with Ucore Rare Metals Inc.

Commerce Resources Corp. (TSXv: CCE; FSE: D7H) (the “Commerce”) is pleased to announce that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSXv: UCU; OTCQX: UURAF) (“Ucore”) for the purpose of integrating feedstock from Commerce’s Ashram Project in Quebec (the “Ashram Project”) with Ucore’s recently announced rare earth separation facility and Strategic Metals Complex (“SMC”).

Under the terms of the MOU, Commerce will provide quantities of mixed rare earth carbonate concentrate, using material from the Ashram Deposit (the “Ashram Concentrate”), sufficient to perform bench and pilot scale testing of the metallurgy and metals separation metrics of the prospective feedstock. The bench work will be conducted by IBC Advanced Technologies of American Fork, Utah (“IBC”), with pilot scale test work expected to take place at the recently completed SuperLig®-One MRT pilot facility in Vineyard, Utah (see Ucore Press Release September 26, 2016).

The objective of the test work is to complete a definitive assessment of the suitability of the Ashram Concentrate as potential feedstock for the SMC, with a view to a subsequent long-term supply partnership and offtake relationship.

“This is a significant development partnership for both Ucore and Commerce”, said Jim McKenzie, President and CEO of Ucore.“Commerce has undertaken extensive research and testing resulting in a high-quality and high-grade mineral concentrate that will allow for cost effective processing to our ideal feedstock, and therefore, looks to be a very promising candidate for processing via a MRT separation circuit.The Ashram Deposit is large tonnage, good grade, hosts a well-balanced REE distribution with an enrichment in the magnet feed REEs, and perhaps most importantly, is highly accessible. In combination with the SMC, Ashram promises to be a key link in a self-contained North American REE supply chain.”

Die Amis werden alles mögliche anstellen um an schwere Seltene Erden zu kommen um von den Chinesen unabhängig zu werden. Na klar die Aktie ist bis dahin ein Zock  aber wenn es klappt lohnt es sich auf jeden fall.  

Ist die Amtssprache hier Englisch ?  

In die Deutsche Seite seh ich auch rein, aber die news sind alt. Auf dem neuesten stand sind sie bedauerlicherweise nicht.

The largest rare earth new material industrial park in China is expected to be built in Baotou, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, promoted by technological innovation and the "Made in China 2025" strategy.
