Globex to Undertake Drill Program at Normetal Mine
ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 26, 2007) - GLOBEX MINING ENTERPRISES INC. (TSX:GMX) (Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Munich, Xetra:G1M) (OTCQX:GLBXF) is pleased to inform shareholders that it has received the results of a study commissioned to assess the possibility of significant unmined zinc and copper mineralization remaining at Globex's 100% owned Normetal Mine located at Normetal, Quebec.
The historic massive sulphide mine, one of the largest in Quebec produced over 10 million tonnes of copper and zinc ore between 1937 and 1975 from workings to a depth of 2500 meters. When the mine commenced production, the price of zinc was approximately US$0.065/lb only reaching prices over US$0.20/lb in the last 2 years of production. Available records indicate that mining was concentrated on copper rich zones due to the availability of smelting facilities at Rouyn-Noranda, 110 km to the south. There were no zinc refining facilities in Quebec for the first 20 years of the mine's operation and workings were backfilled making it difficult and expensive to return once mining was completed.
Research has led Globex to believe that historically, high cut-offs grades for copper and zinc were used when mining. Specifically a report dated 1962 by Noranda Inc. refers to a zinc cut-off grade of 18%. Additionally, level plans indicate, at various levels, zinc mining grade cut-offs of between 10 and 15% and copper mining grade cut-offs of 3%. Considering the present metal prices, a study of the first 610 vertical meters of the mine was commissioned which has recommenced an initial program of 18 targeted drill holes totalling approximately 8,500 meters.
Further sparking our interest in drilling sections of the mine were four historic drill holes completed in 1987 prior to implementation of NI 43-101 regulations by Exploration miniere Normetal into the Normetal Mine crown pillar. The drill holes returned the following values:
-------------------------------------------------- Inter- Loca- Bearing Dip cept True Au AgHole # tion (degrees) (degrees) Length Width Cu% Zn% oz/t oz/t--------------------------------------------------N87-57 4052N, 210 45 12.80 m 11.90 m 3.05 24.17 0.043 - 6052E including 5.19 m 15.16--------------------------------------------------N87-58 4114N, 210 45 11.90 m 10.50 m 1.69 17.05 0.024 3.41 6008E including 1.32 m of ground core, assigned a value of 0 in the grade calculation--------------------------------------------------N87-59 3978N, 210 45 9.46 m 8.32 m 0.38 27.09 0.055 4.31 6080E--------------------------------------------------N87-33 4012N, 200 50 8.28 m 7.58 m - 10.92 - 5.84 6040E including 4.77 m 0.17--------------------------------------------------
In addition, drill holes completed in 2003 into the crown pillar for stability studies and never split or assayed were recently recovered. These drill holes include sections of massive sphalerite or sphalerite, chalcopyrite and pyrite.
Globex intends to drill the recommended holes in a staged manner as soon as a drill becomes available.

Also hier könnte wieder mal was Großes entstehen....

Mr. Jack Stoch reports
GLOBEX: CENTRAL CADILLAC-WOOD-PANDORA DRILLING
Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. is providing an update to shareholders on drilling undertaken over the last several months on the Wood-Pandora and Central Cadillac properties.
To date, 11 drill holes have been completed, seven on the Central Cadillac property and three and one hole extension on the Wood property, specifically in the area of Ironwood gold zone.
The holes on the Central Cadillac property were drilled to target geophysical anomalies, structures outlined in recent surveys and deeply below the Central Cadillac mine stratigraphy. Approximately one-half of the Central Cadillac drill holes have been logged and assayed to date and no new gold zones have been discovered although several areas of intense alteration and low-grade gold values were intersected deserving follow-up drilling.
On the Wood property, two deep holes were undertaken in order to test for a deep extension of the host geological formation of the Ironwood gold zone. These holes failed to intersect the host iron formation. This may be due to folding in which case the holes passed beneath the folds axis or faulting in which case the iron formation becomes displaced with depth. In addition, one hole was extended for structural purposes and one short hole was drilled to extend the gold zone and intersected a core length of 2.13 metres (1.10 m true width) in hole W07-48, grading 7.63 grams per tonne Au.
Globex and Queenston have decided to commission an NI 43-101 report on the Ironwood gold zone. The NI 43-101 report will facilitate a better understanding of the structural complexity at depth and allow for proper planning of an additional phase of drilling.
This press release was prepared by Jack Stoch, PGeo, in his capacity as a qualified person.
The company Strategic Resource Acquisition (SRA) put out a press release on Friday in which they state that they should be in production in the fourth quarter of 2007. This means that they should be in commercial production by the end of the first quarter of 2008 if everything goes relatively as planned. As to a share purchase deal, yes we were approached by a private group when our stock was about $7.00. They had an independent evaluation done which gave a discounted value to Globex of over $18.50 per share. Unfortunately the offer considered was only about $7.50 per share so several large shareholders including myself, indicated that they would not sell at that price. Nothing was ever formalized. We had indicated to the potential buyers that we would entertain offers between $10 and $12 right from the beginning so we were very surprised that they came back with such a low offer considering their own high evaluation. As to the share price,we are in a tough period that is outside of our control. All we can do is continue to work, add value and hope that this international debacle will pass quickly. Just a quick word on investing in junior mining or all stocks for that matter. Although I consider Globex a great investment as far as junior mining stocks are concerned keep in mind that all stocks have inherent risks whether it is markets in general as we are currently experiencing or product prices or a myriad of other uncontrollable or unforeseeable things. All this to say please recognize the inherent risks in market investing. Just because a company is well managed and has good assets and prospects does not guarantee profits for shareholders. The present international debacle is a good example of the inherent risks in the market. If it is any consolation, I have not sold any shares nor do I intend to. Regards Jack
