Alan Greenspan hat sich heute mit seinen Einschätzungen auf der politischen Bühne zurückgemeldet. Der frühere Notenbank-Chef äußerte sich heute vor dem außenpolitischen Ausschuss des Senats zum Einfluss der Ölpreis-Entwicklung auf die amerikanische Volkswirtschaft.Wie Greenspan ausführte, habe sich der deutlich gestiegene Öl- und Benzinpreis bisher nicht sonderlich auf die Wirtschaftsentwicklung niedergeschlagen. Insbesondere die Unternehmen seien heute deutlich weniger von den Energiepreisen abhängig. Sie hätten vergleichsweise flexibel auf die höhere Kostenbelastung reagiert und die diese teilweise durch Produktivitätssteigerungen wettmachen können. Die privaten Verbraucher hingegen seien von den Preiserhöhungen mit voller Wucht getroffen worden.Inzwischen, so Greenspan, scheine sich hier aber das Blatt zu wenden. Es habe den Anschein, als würden sich die hohen Energiepreise nun doch mit einer gewissen Verzögerung auf die Wachstumsraten durchschlagen. Unglücklicherweise würden die USA nicht über ausreichende Ölreserven verfügen, um diese Entwicklung abdämpfen zu können. Die Vereinigten Staaten hätten lediglich durch die Höhe ihres Verbrauchs Einfluss auf die internationale Preisentwicklung, die durch einen Mangel an Angebot und Verarbeitungs-Kapazitäten, aber durch Spekulationsprozesse stimuliert worden sei. Greenspan gab sich allerdings der Hoffnung hin, dass das derzeit hohe Ölpreisniveau die USA mittelfristig dazu bewegen könnte, Energie effizienter einzusetzen und Alternativen zu finden. Dies könne die schmerzliche Abhängigkeit des Landes vom Ölpreis auf Dauer möglicherweise verringern.

KEIN bashing top aktuell und nachvollziehbar.

Sicher kann man Geld mit Ethanol verdienen auch und vor allem in Zukunft aber fangt nicht an zu träumen. Das grosse Geld wird woanders verdient werden.


 

Allerdings möchte ich auch zwei Punkte ansprechen, die ich anders sehe.

Zum einen geht es um das Gesamtpotential von Ethanol. Klar ist, dass Ethanol nicht unsere Energieprobleme lösen kann. Aber warum kann man es nicht es als Erfolg feiern, wenn wir in 10-20 Jahren vielleicht 10-25% unseres Energiebedarfes dadurch decken können. Ich denke eine erfolgreiche Energieversorgung in der Zukunft besteht aus einem Mix unzähliger Herstellungsarten. Wenn eine saubere Lösung wie Ethanol dabei einen so großen Eigenanteil leisten kann ist das großartig und für den Energiemix sehr hilfreich. Eine totale Substitution durch nur einen o. wenige Energieträger habe ich nie erwartet.

Der zweite Punkt ist die angesprochene negative Energiebilanz von Ethanol. Ich denke die Effizienzsteigerungen und die Verbesserung des Wirkungsgrades werden absolut unterschätzt. Wenn man sich die Entwicklung von Microprozessoren ansieht wird deutlich was ich meine. Heute kannst Du einen leistungsfähigen Rechner im Armbanduhrformat haben, die noch vor 15 Jahren so groß waren wie zwei Einfamilienhäuser. Die Produktivitätsfortschritte werden in dieser noch jungen Technik schnell voranschreiten, so dass die aktuell schlechte Effektivität und Wirkungsgrad der Technik kein ersthaftes Problem darstellen.

 Pacific Ethanol Completes Construction of First Plant Madera Plant to Add Ethanol and Distillers Grain Sales to Existing Marketing Revenue
FRESNO, Calif., Oct 09, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (Nasdaq: PEIX) today announced the completion of its first ethanol production facility in Madera, California. A ribbon cutting ceremony to take place on October 16th. The plant will commence the start up process the next day, and is expected to be operating at its nameplate capacity of 35 million gallons per year by mid November, 2006.

"This is a significant milestone for Pacific Ethanol. The startup of the Madera Plant will contribute ethanol production revenues during the 4th quarter of this year, ahead of our internal target date," observed Neil Koehler, CEO of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. "We anticipate it will take roughly thirty days to bring the plant up to full capacity, and that from mid-November forward the plant will be producing ethanol at or above our designed level of 35 million gallons per year. das sieht doch heute gar nicht so schlecht aus.
Den obengenannten wert mein ich...  
...mit diesem filter von ariva verzweifel ich so langsam, entweder es ist gar keiner da, oder von einem völlig anderen wert.

Hi Leute,

Pacific Ethanol geht im Dezember in Produktion. Schon seit einigen Tagen kennt die Aktie nur eine Richtung. Richtung 25 Euro. Bill Gates hat sich bereits mit 25% am Unternehmen  beteiligt und hat vermutlich nochmal aufgestockt.

Der Wert wird auch aufgrund steigender Ölpreise steigen.

Mir steht ein nettes Weihnachtsgeschenk bevor. Der Ölpreis hat die 60 Dollar geknackt. Wenn die 62 Dollar geknackt werden, dann ist der Weg zu 65 Dollar geöffnet.

wir wollen wieder Filter setzen können und wechseln. Genau das hat ariva unterschieden von Wallstreet und anderen Boards.

 

Ariva ist nurmehr oder überwiegend  ein Hort fütr Hotstocks Fans und  Börsenabgestürzten  meist im Talkboard zu finden!
