Was sind eure Einschätzungen. Kommen die überhaupt noch mal zurück, oder lieber sofort nachlegen?

" Shares of iQiyi (IQ - Free Report) were up as much as 10% in early morning trading Monday, adding to the recent IPO company’s strong run that has seen its stock soar more than 80% since debuting in late March. Dubbed the “Netflix of China,”...
iQiyi was founded in 2010 through partnership between Chinese search engine behemoth Baidu (BIDU - Free Report) and American private investment firm Providence Equity Partners. Baidu would buy Providence’s stake and take 100% ownership of iQiyi just two years later, adding it to its growing list of non-search internet properties.iQiyi is one of China’s largest online video websites and currently boasts more than 500 million monthly active users. The company draws comparisons to Netflix ....
iQiyi has filed one unaudited financial report since its IPO, showing revenue of about $778 million, up 57% year over year. The company also said that its net loss improved from $174 million in the first quarter of 2017 to just $63 million in the comparable period this year...."

"...As such, Alibaba and Tencent web of businesses clearly stand in the way of iQIYI's plan to be another Disney. Youku, the flagship streaming service of Alibaba, has won the exclusive digital streaming rights in China to the 2018 soccer World Cup. In a partnership with state broadcaster China Central Television, as many as one billion viewers across Greater China is estimated to tune in to its World Cup coverage. This privilege is not likely to come cheap for Youku and certainly not something that iQIYI is capable of securing.
As for Tencent Video, the LEGO Group and Tencent officially launched LEGO® Video Zone on May 25, 2018, as part of a more comprehensive tie-up announced in January this year. Children and their parents can now watch more than 500 videos provided by the LEGO Group on the Tencent Video Children Channel webpage, mobile application, TV platform and the “Little Penguin Paradise” APP, an application designed for kids by Tencent Video. This is just an example of Tencent's allure to global content owners who are seeking a strong partner to break into the lucrative China market..."
heftige Konkurrenz sowohl Alibaba als auch tencent
Davon abgesehen existieren auf dem Rest der Welt auch mehrere Streaming Dienste neben Netflix.... zb Amazon Video. Ich sehe das eher unkritisch im Moment.

After the first quarter of 2018, IQ's subscriber count jumped to 60.1 million, a gain of 18% in just a few months. It's important for investors to note how much larger of a nation China is, population wise, versus the United States. That gives the company so much more potential.
As of 2017, China had 731 million internet users , more than double the entire U.S. population for those keeping tabs. Of these users, 30%, or 219 million, watch online videos every month. Admittedly, that data is a year old, but it helps show just how large of a market China is...."

iQiyi (NASDAQ: IQ) had a good day on Friday. Shares of the Chinese online media giant and former Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) subsidiary were up 11.1% at 3:40 p.m. EDT. An iQiyi-produced movie was nominated for two prestigious awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival, which is a lot like an up-and-coming Western studio snagging some Oscar nods.....
