Approaching ResistanceDow continues uptrend, trades toward key resistance.From prior commentary, "...The Daily Chart shows the range has formed above major support at 10,365, which is a major fulcrum in the charts. Given the duration of the decline that led to the formation of the range implies that another week of consolidating may occur..." The Dow opened the session strong this morning, as the index trended steadily higher toward major resistance at 10,570, seen in the 15 and 60 Minute Chart. The Dow closed the day higher by 60 points, but is now holding beneath key resistance, which we will watch closely tomorrow. The Dow has trended steadily higher throughout the week, forming a clear lower trend line. Look for the index to test the lower line tomorrow. A downside break of the line at 10,525 will indicate another move lower within the boundaries of the wide trading range, which continues to develop from 10,365 to 10,570. Watch this line closely tomorrow for indications of weakness. Otherwise, look for the Dow to test resistance at 10,570. An upside break through this level may spark a solid continuation higher in the medium term. The Daily Chart shows the Dow is responding to two critical fulcrums in the chart. The Dow has rallied off major support and a long term lower trend line at 10,365, which is a very positive sign for future strength. Long term strength is very likely if these two fulcrums remain in tact. Short Term Dow Short term, we will keep an eye on the lower trend line that has formed beneath the lows of the recent four-day upmove, seen in the 5 Minute Chart. Watch for strength above this line, unless a downside break occurs. Medium Term Dow In the medium term, we are still out of the market, and will watch 10,575 up, and 10,500 down; using 20 point stops. NASDAQ & S&P The NASDAQ and S&P each trended higher throughout much of the session and are currently testing resistance. Watch resistance closely tomorrow for signs of a continuation. Summary The Dow closed the day near the highs of the session, but continues to hold beneath key resistance at 10,570. Watch for continued overall weakness beneath this level tomorrow, especially if 10,500 is crossed to the downside. Otherwise, a break through resistance may spark a significant rise in the market. NK LS170T 1 Position bei DAX 4404
Mein Stop-loss liegt bei 4384P. und da bleibt er auch.
Es wäre zwar bitter, wenn das erreicht würde, aber ich glaube nicht dran und denke, dass wir sehr bald wieder aufwärts tendieren.
Die in Calls stecken sollen meines Erachtens nur kurz verunsichert werden - nicht mit mir!!!
Ich glaube nicht mal dran, dass die es schaffen, den DAX unter 4400 zu bringen.
Schauen wir mal, alles nur meine Meinung!

An meinen shorts kann das doch nicht liegen ....
aber das nichts mit meinem Börsenwissen zu tun. Da lerne ich auch wie P650 jeden Tag dazu! Im Gegenteil, wenn man meint, man hätte es verstanden und ist sich zu sicher, dann geht es bestimmt in die Hose ;-) Also Lehrling sein, ist keine schlechte Stellung an der Börse!

Ein heben des DF über 580 reicht....zur 610 und KZ 640...dann sind wir im Dax bei 4335..heute
Hobo: Ich stimme mit dir überein, das war es bei 4402. Die Unterstützung hält. Es wird m.E. Zeit für Calls, wer noch nicht drin ist. Das ist aber nur meine Ansicht zum Dax.
Norisk: Danke, da sind wir einer Meinung. 4400 werden sie nicht mehr hergeben, das ist wohl sehr sicher...bin zum DAX-Kurs von 4406 im Schnitt sehr stark in Calls ( LS170T ). Ziel bleiben 4435. Stop-loss 4384, aber die sehen wir nicht mehr, halte da ( fast ) jede Wette.

dürfte erst mal polen offen sein, wie norisk formulierte.
im moment spricht alles klar für neue hochs im dax, enge shorts sehr gefährlich!
kann sich natürlich alles jederzeit ändern, aber der trend zeigt es.
dazu euro und öl weiter am schwächeln..

Die Richtung geht klar nach Norden.
Unter 4400 sehe ich den DAX heute jedenfalls nicht mehr.
Ich will mich aber nicht wiederholen, die Marken sind gesetzt:
4435 heute nachmittag, klar long eingestellt.
Bis später, allen viel Erfolg. Und fallt nicht auf die Tricks der Emis rein, die wollen nur verunsichern. Shorts kann man jetzt günstig an sie zurückgeben.
