Golden Hope Repeats Long Intercept in Wedge Holes with 1.27 g/t Au Over 57 Metres and 0.75 g/t Au Over 56 Metres at Bellechasse-Timmins, Quebec
March 5, 2012
Montreal, March 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Golden Hope Mines (TSX VENTURE: GNH)(Pink Sheets: GOLHF) – Golden Hope Mines Limited is pleased to announce further significant results from its 2011 drill campaign in southeastern, Quebec. The company received results from the wedge holes BD2011-167a and BD2011-167b.
The two wedges repeat the 53m long intersection of 0.63 g/t Au found in previously announced hole BD2011-167 with a 56m long interval of 0.75 g/t Au in BD2011-167a and a 57m long interval of 1.27 g/t Au in BD2011-167b. At its bottom extremity, the wedge also confirms the previously encountered mineralization found in BD2011-167 as BD2011-167a intersected 5m of 2.59 g/t Au including 1m of 12.40 g/t Au. The horizontal extent of this zone is still under investigation with more drilling planned in the immediate vicinity.
Result highlights from the wedge holes are presented in tables below.

Bellechasse-Timmins Exploration Update:
There are currently 5 holes at the SGS Labs in Toronto (BD2011-181, 182, and BD2012-183,184, and 185).
There are also 10 holes or approximately 3300 metres of drill core that are in different stages of being logged, cut and prepared for shipping to the lab at our St-Magloire facility. These holes include BD2012-186, 187, 188, 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194 and Béland 05).
The drill crew has left the property as the company is taking a small break from drilling to catch up to the data generated to date and focus on processing the core currently outstanding for assaying. The near term plan includes the publication of the company's first resource estimate as well as preparing an extensive Spring 2012 drill campaign at Bellechasse-Timmins and throughout our property in southeastern, Quebec.
Samples were prepared and analyzed at SGS Minerals Services of Toronto, Ontario (Don Mills laboratory). Analysis for gold was done on one half of core samples following FAI525 fire assay routine. SGS introduced standards and blanks in the sequence.

Bellechasse-Timmins
Montreal, March 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Golden Hope Mines (TSX VENTURE: GNH)(Pink Sheets: GOLHF) has since April 2011, embarked on an exploration campaign at Bellechasse-Timmins with the objective of producing a resource estimate in early 2012. SGS Geostat of Blainville, Quebec had been mandated to oversee the drill campaign and prepare the resource estimate as independent qualified persons.
Since June 2011, the company has drilled a total of 40 holes or 16,681 metres at Bellechasse-Timmins. The company has announced the results of all drill holes up to and including BD2011-180. Holes BD2011-181 through BD2012-194 remaining outstanding and will be announced as soon as they are received and interpreted.
"We expect to announce our first resource estimate shortly. This is not only a major achievement for our company but as well for the regions of Bellechasse and the Beauce, which are historically gold rich regions, and have essentially been overlooked by the exploration community. This will be a first very important step in gaining market recognition for our company, the exploration project and the region. Although southeastern Quebec is a part of the Appalachian belt, it has gone essentially un-explored and yet holds much potential. We not only expect to further expand the known deposit through the outstanding drill holes that have not yet been assayed but through continued future drilling as well. We also believe that there is further potential for other gold and base metal deposits throughout our claims and throughout the region", states Frank Candido, President, Golden Hope Mines Limited.
The company is also expectantly awaiting assay results on two holes BB2012-04 and BB2012-05 or 705 metres that were drilled approximately 6-8 kilometers south of Bellechasse-Timmins within the belt at the Béland Showing. These holes as well as all outstanding holes will be announced as soon the data are received and interpreted.
Champagne Zone
The company has also drilled 9 holes or 1,660 metres at the Champagne Zone. The Champagne zone is a known historical VMS deposit, which holds potential for gold, silver and base metals. The company is very encouraged by the visuals observed from the drill core.
The company flew a VTEM survey in December 2011 to identify additional VMS conductors within the property. The company also acquired additional claims covering extensions of the Champagne horizon that was previously announced in a press release dated January 17, 2012.
Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario carried out the helicopter-borne geophysical survey. The results from that survey have been received and the company is currently selecting from a number of promising potential drill targets to be explored further in the upcoming spring exploration program. More information on these targets will be shared with our shareholders as we near the commencement of the Spring 2012 campaign.
The results for the outstanding drill holes at the Champagne Zone will be released when they are received and interpreted.

"We are very pleased with these near surface drill results. Our company now has two different types of deposits close to one another within the Bellechasse Belt that we will continue to explore and define. Results from this series of preliminary holes suggest a great potential for multiple deposits in Southeastern Quebec", states Frank Candido, President, Golden Hope Mines Limited.
The Champagne target is a partially explored base metal and gold occurrence that lies within the Company's Bellechasse Belt claims 3.5 kilometres north of the Bellechasse-Timmins Gold Deposit. Previous work on Champagne outlined a historic estimate of 250,000 tonnes of massive and disseminated sulphides averaging 2.4 g/t gold, 19.7 g/t silver, 2.7% zinc, 0.40% copper and 0.45% lead (Paradis, Bossé and Gauthier, 1995 Report from the Centre Geoscientifique de Quebec referencing Bergman-1954). A qualified person has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resource nor is Golden Hope treating the historical estimate as current mineral resource.
The report can be read on the company's web site at http://www.goldenhopemines.com/exploration/champagne_zone/.
Drill holes CD2011-01 to CD2011-05 of the 2011 campaign were designed to test the Champagne horizon near surface for extensions of the known deposit between the previously explored massive sulphides (Bergman, 1954) and the sulphide mineralization intersected by Arcadia Nickel in 1955 in hole S-14 and S-15 as well as by Golden Hope in hole 9112A completed in 1991 in the same area approximately 600 metres to the southwest. Holes CD2011-6 to CD2011-9 tested the southwestern end of the previously known sulphide body.
These results support the previously reported historical results. They also suggest that the known deposit can potentially be expanded on strike as the confirmation holes were drilled on the southwestern end of the known mineralization.
Champagne is a massive and disseminated sulphide occurrence carrying potentially economically interesting values in base and precious metals. It remains open on strike to the northeast and to depth. Further drilling is planned to provide data on grade and volume of the mineralization.
The company's claims include approximately 10 kilometers of the stratigraphic horizon near the base of the Beauceville Formation that hosts the Champagne occurrence. The Champagne occurrence lies on the north limb of a synclinal fold. An additional 20 kilometers of the horizon is exposed within the company's claims that cover the south limb of the syncline.
Golden Hope is also planning further drilling to upgrade and verify the historical estimate as a current mineral resource.

Golden Hope Mines Announces Further Excellent Gold Recovery
Testwork and Provides an Exploration Update at its Bellechasse-
Timmins Gold Project in Southeastern Quebec
Montreal, April 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Golden Hope Mines Limited (TSX VENTURE: GNH) (Pink Sheets: GOLHF) – Golden Hope is pleased to announce further positive gold recovery from further preliminary metallurgical test work at its Bellechasse-Timmins gold project in southeastern Quebec, Canada. Additional test work was completed on thirteen composite samples taken from drill core from its 2011 drill program.
When combining the current results with 5 previously announced samples on January 23, 2012 (http://cnw.ca/zdU0), gold recovery using gravity separation ranged from 37% to an outstanding 92% with an average of 77.3%, while total gold recovery using a combination of gravity separation and cyanidation ranged from 95.5% to more than 99.6% with an average total gold recovery of 98%.
"We are extremely pleased with these additional results as they once again demonstrate the excellent gold recovery by gravity while achieving outstanding recoveries using a combination of gravity and cyanidation" explains Frank Candido, President, Golden Hope Mines Limited.
The testwork also determined the head grades of the various composites and compared them with the individual assay results previously announced. SGS Geostat selected composite samples from thirteen different mineralized intersections at various depths with variable grades from drill core that tested mineralized zones within the T1 and T2 diorite at the Bellechasse-Timmins gold deposit. The testwork produced a total gold metallurgical balance that shows calculated feed grade, tailing losses and overall gold recovery data.
A summary of results can be viewed in Table 1 and Table 2 below.

Exploration Update:
Bellechasse-Timmins
There are currently 9 holes outstanding from the Winter 2012 drill campaign at SGS Laboratories in Toronto including BD2012-186, 187, 188, 189, 190, 191, 193, 194 and Beland 05. The Company will announce the results from these holes once received. The Company is also currently working on a plan for a continued exploration/definition drill campaign at Bellechasse-Timmins as well as drilling other priority targets along the Bellechasse Belt.
Champagne/VMS
The Company is currently developing a plan for an exploration/definition drill campaign at the Champagne zone as well as at other priority targets that have been recently identified from the VTEM (helicopter-borne time-domain electromagnetic) survey flown over the area in December 2011. The Company is targeting additional precious metal rich VMS deposits that may be lie within its claim block. The VTEM survey results suggest that there are a significant number of high priority targets that require drill testing.
Resource Estimate
Since April 2011, the Company has been working closely with SGS Geostat of Blainville, Quebec towards the publication of its first resource estimate. The Company had until recently been targeting Q1 of 2012 as a cut off date for results to be included in the resource estimate. However, not all of the outstanding assay results from the previously conducted Bellechasse-Timmins drill campaign had been received and interpreted during Q1 of 2012. The Company is anticipating that the outstanding assay results will be received by the end of this month and is currently targeting announcing a resource estimate for Bellechasse-Timmins in late May or early June 2012.
