TelePlus Signs 4 Direct-Marketing Agreements to Expand its Liberty Wireless Customer Base
MONTREAL – June 6, 2006 – TelePlus Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ OTCBB: TLPE) (Frankfurt: YT3.F) announced today that as part of a marketing initiatives it has entered into direct marketing agreements with 4 business-to- consumer Telemarketing Firms in the US. The Firms will work closely with TelePlus Wireless, Corp.’s sales team which has identified several market segments to direct their efforts to. TelePlus’ mobile brand, Liberty Wireless, has developed a solid customer base among what is commonly referred to in the industry as the “unbanked” segment, currently estimated at around 10% of the US population. These marketing initiatives will specifically target those segments in order to grow Liberty’s customer base and generate additional revenue for TelePlus. The Telemarketing firms are anticipated to start ramping up throughout June and July. “With over 250 sales professionals working proactively to promote Liberty Wireless to our target audience, I believe that we are poised to grow our customer base and deliver additional revenue for the Company” said Marius Silvasan, CEO of TelePlus. “One of the reasons why TelePlus purchased certain assets of Liberty Wireless at the end of last year was specifically because the quality brand name is widely known across the unbanked segment as a provider of affordable wireless prepaid service with the flexibility of pay-as-you go and the benefits of postpaid value. TelePlus Signs a Three Year Agreement
MONTREAL, June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - TelePlus Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSPT - News), a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider that offers customer management, transcription and captioning, accounts receivable management and additional BPO services from its centers in the Philippines, Costa Rica and United States, as its strategic provider of customer management support. Prior to the purchase of certain assets of Liberty Wireless by TelePlus from InPhonics Inc., PeopleSupport provided live agent support to Liberty Wireless. The new agreement for 3 years will enhance several of the services PeopleSupport provides to TelePlus' Liberty Wireless customers. These expanded services include live agent support to assist Liberty Wireless customers with billing inquiries, technical support, and confirming order status. PeopleSupport's highly trained agents will also up-sell additional value-added services to customers and focus on client retention. PeopleSupport will support TelePlus with a dedicated and trained team to provide high-quality service to customers.
