FAIRBANKS, AK and VANCOUVER, BC, July 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Gold recovery operations at the Nolan Gold Mine located North of Fairbanks Alaska are proceeding well and preliminary results are showing an abundance of large gold with extremely fine character.
The gold is high quality jewelry grade and is the finest that the ground has yielded to date. In prior test production years, some ten million ($US 10,000,000) in gold was sold. The average sales price of the gold nuggets was 67% over the price of gold due to their jewelry quality. At today's gold prices including the 67% premium, we would receive over $US 1,000 per ounce. The larger gold nuggets sell for substantially higher premiums. Based on prior sales experience, this season's large collector size pieces such as those shown here: http://www.silverado.com/july182006 will sell for over $US 2,000 per ounce. The gold is ranging in size from sand to 9.03 troy ounces (so far). The majority of the nuggets range from 0.5 to 1.5 inch (+1 ounce), which is ideal jewelry size.
The sluice plant is running 24 hours per day and is operating efficiently in its closed circuit, zero discharge to the environment - ecologically sound design.
Total gold recoveries and related financial numbers will be released as available during the balance of the year. Last winter and spring saw the completion of 1200 feet of underground development on the Swede Channel and the construction of the finished sluice plant. Underground work will commence after freeze up (October 2006) and will include the removal of the remaining 60% of the Swede Channel gold bearing gravels which were developed this year. Underground work will also be conducted on gold bearing gravels which were discovered in prior years drilling. These areas are either adjoining or near our underground workings and will continue to be expanded under the current drilling program which will continue into the upcoming winter. Exploration drilling is also being conducted on other parts of our 11 square mile property where gold has been encountered in prior drilling and test mining.

In addition to the jewelry grade gold mentioned above, Silverado is currently making preparation to extract the 3/16" and smaller gold from concentrates. Once this gold is extracted, the company will polish it to further enhance its value. While this extra treatment requires more work than smelting, the value of the end product is 20% higher than the untreated gold.
According to Silverado's President and CEO, Garry Anselmo, "We are excited about the recovery of the gold this year, as well as the new discoveries we have made on our properties. More importantly, we are extremely pleased with the results of the time we spent this year establishing the infrastructure necessary to allow us to fully focus on gold recovery during the next season. We have always considered the Swede Channel and its Sister channels to be a multi-year project. Last winter the majority of our mining effort was spent developing the underground infrastructure rather than actual gold ore production. This infrastructure included a haulage way, trucks and front end loader turnarounds, explosive storage, ore pad, settling ponds, water delivery systems, roads, and the completion of an extremely efficient 680 yard per day gold washing sluice facility (gold recovery plant). Last winter Silverado mined only 25% of the gold bearing gravel in the channel, leaving the remaining 75% of the gold ore for this winter's operation.
In addition to the Swede Channel, we have located other gold channels which cause gold to accumulate on ancient hillside "benches" as the channels drain gold down the mountain from its source. One such source is the Solomon Shear, a five mile long gold bearing silicified shear zone from which all drainages (creeks and rivers) are carrying nugget gold. These benches will substantially increase our gold resources and eventually our gold reserves. As well, we have identified three other sub-parallel benches that run about 1.5 - 2 miles in length. They are all gold collectors and the information gained from this year combined with data gathered in previous years has completed the model. These four benches on this section of the Nolan, will allow us to placer mine for another 4 to 5 years at a minimum. These benches make up only a small portion of the total Nolan gold project.
Anselmo continued, "We are engaged in an aggressive rotary drilling program to compliment our previous placer gold drilling programs. All of these results are now being incorporated to generate 3-D computer models which indicate massive stretches of gold-bearing frozen gravel on our properties. In the past year we have expanded our Nolan property by acquiring an additional 8 square miles of land for a total land holding of 11 square miles in the Koyukuk District. Our samples from our newly discovered bench (the second of four identified benches) have yielded the following pan assay results:
Notes: All drill holes are done with a Becker Reverse Circulation Drill; all azimuths are 0 and inclinations are -90 (vertical); drill pipe extends to drill bit (no drill cuttings exposed to hole wall); all drill cuttings from each 5' section are passed over a drill mounted sluice with recovered heavy media (sulfides, heavy rock particles +/- gold) bagged, labeled, and transported to our onsite lab for panning and immediate assay turn around. Gold observed is weighed and noted. Only results of 0.01 troy ounces or better per bank (in place) cubic yard are listed here.

The drill locations of the higher assay values, being 5.76 / 0.09 / 0.23 / 0.05 / 0.48 / 0.16 / 0.17 / 0.07 / 0.24 are contiguous and constitute an area 500 feet long which is situated on the newly discovered bench just above Mary's Bench and is sub-parallel to it. These drill results are the richest and most consistent gold assays encountered on our property to date. Part of the pay zone appears to be amenable to open-cut mining which is considerably less expensive than underground mining. As other ore zones have been discovered nearer the existing underground workings of Swede Channel, continuing drilling will determine whether this new high grade bench area will be mined in 2007 or 2008.
We continue our busy 2006 year and look forward to increasing our production and discovery into 2007 and beyond. Our gold mining operation is now focusing primarily on completing gold recovery, and we continue to move forward with our LRCWFuel project. Most of the 'behind-the-scenes' work with government authorities has been completed on the fuel project, and we anticipate a very exciting announcement either in August or September," concluded Mr. Anselmo.

New high grade gold discovery at Silverado's Nolan gold property
FAIRBANKS, AK, and VANCOUVER, Sept. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Recent drilling on a portion of the Slisco Bench, located on the Hammond River portion (Fig. 1 - shown here: http://www.silverado.com/slisco-fig1.htm) of the Nolan Property has disclosed very high grade placer gold results. A total of 39 drillholes were completed at Slisco Bench during this summers' exploration program. These holes were drilled with a Schramm "all terrain" reverse circulation drill rig. All holes penetrated bedrock for a total of 4,782 feet drilled with sample intervals ranging from 5 to 10 feet in length. The entire sample was processed through an on-site Denver Gold saver to produce a mineral concentrate (sulfides, heavy rock particles +/- gold). This concentrate was bagged, labeled, and transported to our onsite lab for panning and assay turn around. All gold particles and nuggets observed were weighed.
Drill results confirm the presence of gold in areas of previous drilling and have identified a channel containing placer gold that extends for a length of over 1,800 feet (Fig. 2 - shown here: http://www.silverado.com/slisco-fig2.htm). The channel remains open to the southeast and there is evidence of one or more tributary channels that remain to be explored next season. Within the Slisco Channel, the placer gold occurs on bedrock and on a second horizon about 20 feet above the bedrock channel. Paylayer thicknesses range from 5 to 10 feet. To date, 20 out of 39 drillholes have been processed and analyzed for placer gold. Out of these 20, 11 drillholes show visible gold with values ranging from 0.009 to 0.495 TOz/cyd. Table 1 presents results of 0.01 troy ounces or better per bank (in place) cubic yard.

Gold analysis for the remaining drillholes are in progress and results will be released as soon they become available.
The higher placer gold values in both paylayers are located within the left limit of the Slisco Channel. In addition to the encouraging drill results to date, the potential of extending the channel to the southeast plus the possibility of discovering gold bearing tributary channels, make this an exciting prospect for additional discoveries next year.
As the weather now permits us to work on our Nolan area of our property, we will continue our busy 2006 exploration program with the focus on the northward and southward extension of the Mary's East prospect and our newly acquired placer properties. A first phase lode gold drilling program on Solomon's Shear (Fig. 1) is also planned for this year, and we are expecting exciting news from both our placer and lode gold drilling programs.

NOLAN GOLD PROJEKT
-- BEI MINENARBEITEN AM SWEDE CHANNEL WURDE WEITERES HOCHGRADIGES ERZ GEFUNDEN --
-- BOHRUNGEN AUF DEM MARY EAST ERZKÖRPER WEISEN AUF WEITERES HOCHGRADIGES ERZ HIN --
4. Januar 2007 - Fairbanks, Alaska - USA - Vancouver, BC - Kanada SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt: SLGL / Berlin: SLGL

SILVERADO - OTCBB: SLGLF / Frankfurt: SLGL / Berlin: SLGL
FAIRBANKS, AK, and VANCOUVER, July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -
Gold Recovery and Processing Operation
Over 670 ounces of nugget gold have already been recovered since the start of sluicing operations in late June of this year. These nuggets were pulled from the top two nugget traps alone of the wash plant and ranged in size from 1/10 ounce to 12.4 ounces per piece. Over 18,000 loose cubic yards of pay dirt (stockpiled from the past winter's mining of the Mary's East and Swede Channel) will be processed through the wash plant by the end of August, 2007. Total gold recoveries and related financial numbers will be released as available during the balance of the season.
Placer Gold Exploration
During March and April, company drilling on the Nolan property discovered an entirely new zone of placer gold which has been named the Jack London bench. Additional drilling later this year will test the viability of actual open pit mining of this new bench. Further drilling was also conducted in an area between the Mary's East/Swede Channel Deposits and the Top Notch Prospect. Out of the 130 drill holes completed during this year's first-phase of placer exploration, 40% show the presence of gold, ranging from 0.001 to 0.055 troy ounces of gold per bank cubic yard. The company intends to do more placer drilling later this summer.
Lode Gold Exploration
Since May 2007, Silverado Gold Mines has been aggressively exploring for a lode gold and antimony deposit on its Nolan property using an extensive soil sampling and geophysical campaign. Over 420 soil samples have been sent to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. The 229 samples analyzed to date show a distinct arsenic and antimony anomaly on the eastern part of the Solomon Shear trend. Arsenic anomalies are strong indicators for the presence of gold. The highest concentration of gold in these soil anomalies exists in the area north of Smith Creek where soils are much thinner than other parts of the Solomon's Shear Trend and therefore gold is more readily detectable. Here, Silverado Gold Mines undertook backhoe trenching in 2006 and discovered 16 antimony-quartz veins over a width of 192 feet. The highest gold result was 0.83 ounces gold per ton and the highest antimony assay was 46% (see press releases from January 22, 2007 and January 29, 2007). Silverado Exploration teams will continue with the soil sampling campaign until September.
Along with the soil sampling campaign, Silverado Gold Mines is conducting an extensive very low frequency - electromagnetic (VLF-EM) ground geophysical survey to identify structures such as shear zones, faults, and veins that occur within the bedrock. Geo-physical exploration with the VLF-EM survey will continue until September. The coincident soil and geophysical anomalies indicate the likely presence of gold antimony mineralization.
Trenching Programs
In addition to the above two surveys (VLF-EM and soil) Silverado recently conducted an extensive trenching program to complement the exploration trenching conducted in 2006 (see press releases from January 22, 2007 and January 29, 2007). During June and July, 2007 three backhoe trenches were excavated, totaling 290m (951.5ft), to further investigate the gold bearing antimony-quartz vein systems previously identified in 2006.
This year's trenching confirmed the north-eastward continuation of the three zones that contain antimony-gold-quartz veins identified in 2006. A total of 107 combined select chip and channel rock samples were collected during the trenching program and submitted to ALS Chemex in Fairbanks for analysis. Assays are pending.
A fourth trench, 38m (124.7ft) in length, was dug south of Smith Creek, in the old Workman's Bench pit, located within in the south-westward extension of the Solomon Shear trend. This trench exposed the largest antimony veins discovered in the area to date, with widths up to 24 cm (9.8 inch). A total of 15 channel rock samples were collected and submitted to ALS Chemex for analysis. Out of these 15 samples, 7 tested greater than the 1% upper detection limit for antimony and are now being quantitatively assayed for total antimony. In addition, five of these 15 samples show gold values ranging from 0.01 to 0.12 ounces of gold per ton.
Several potential drill targets in this area within the Solomon Shear trend have been identified by the gold, arsenic and antimony soil anomalies; the structural trends identified by the VLF-EM surveys; the results of backhoe trenching; and structural geological field mapping. Lode exploration drilling is scheduled to start in two weeks.
