Maxim Integrated Products, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: MXIM) announced the appointment of Joseph R. Bronson to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Bronson is currently President and COO at Sanmina-SCI and a member of its Board, and serves on the Board of Directors of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. Before joining Sanmina, Mr. Bronson served as President and a Director of FormFactor, Inc., a manufacturer of advanced semiconductor wafer probe cards. Mr. Bronson also spent 20 years at Applied Materials in senior level operations management positions concluding with Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company.

Ich glaube, dass Sanmina das Zeug hat, in den nä. 6-12 Monaten sich zu verdoppeln, auf 6-7 € zu steigen. Warum? Sanmina befindet sich
1. ganz unten und genau da sollte man auch einsteigen.
2. Die Aussichten sind positiv. Analysten wurden beim kurz zuvor veröffentlichten Q-Bericht deutlich übertroffen. Man geht davon aus, dass dies sogar anhaltend stattfinden könnte und Sanmina bereits im nä. Q-Bericht weitere positive Zahlen veröffentlicht. Sanmina-SCI reduziert Verlust deutlich, Aktie legt nachbörslich kräftig zu

Die Sanmina-SCI Corp. (ISIN US8009071072/ WKN 886288) hat am Dienstag nach US-Börsenschluss die Zahlen für das zweite Fiskalquartal veröffentlicht. Dabei konnte der amerikanische Elektronikkonzern seinen Verlust deutlich reduzieren.
Der Nettoverlust belief sich demnach auf 103,4 Mio. Dollar bzw. 20 Cents je Aktie, nach 1,06 Mrd. Dollar bzw. 1,99 Dollar je Aktie im Vorjahreszeitraum. Bereinigt um Einmal-Effekte belief sich der Gewinn auf 30,5 Mio. Dollar bzw. 6 Cents je Aktie, nach 29,3 Mio. Dollar, bzw. 6 Cents je Aktie im Vorjahreszeitraum. Die Analysten hatten im Vorfeld ein Ergebnis von 6 Cents je Aktie erwartet.

Die Umsatzerlöse fielen von 2,89 Mrd. Dollar auf nun 2,67 Mrd. Dollar. Die Analysten hatten zuvor Umsätze von 2,66 Mrd. Dollar erwartet.

Für das derzeit laufende dritte Fiskalquartal erwarten die Analysten ein Ergebnis von 7 Cents je Aktie bei Umsätzen von 2,75 Mrd. Dollar.

Sanmina: Ergebnis leicht über den Markterwartungen
Der amerikanische Elektronikkonzern Sanmina-SCI Corp. (ISIN US8009071072/ WKN 886288) veröffentlichte die Zahlen für das erste Quartal seines neuen Geschäftsjahres.
Wie der Konzern am Mittwoch nach Börsenschluss bekannt gab, lag der Gewinn im Berichtsquartal bei 21,1 Mio. Dollar bzw. 4 Cents je Aktie, nach einem Gewinn von 24,4 Mio. Dollar im Vorjahresquartal. Exklusive Sondereffekte lag das EPS bei 8 Cents. Analysten hatten auf dieser Basis einen Gewinn von 7 Cents je Aktie erwartet. Der Konzernumsatz verschlechterte sich derweil von 3,25 Mrd. Dollar auf 2,86 Mrd. Dollar, was aber leicht oberhalb der Analystenerwartung von 2,85 Mrd. Dollar lag. Für das laufende Quartal gehen Marktbeobachter von einem EPS von 6 Cents sowie einem Umsatz von 2,77 Mrd. Dollar aus. Die Aktie von Sanmina-SCI schloss am Mittwoch bei 4,48 Dollar.

Sanmina-SCI korrigiert EPS-Ergebnis um 1 Cent nach oben
Der amerikanische Elektronikkonzern Sanmina-SCI Corp. (ISIN US8009071072/ WKN 886288) meldete am Montag, dass er seinen Nettogewinn im ersten Quartal aufgrund eines zusätzlichen Einmalertrags um 1 Cent pro Aktie nach oben korrigiert hat.
Demnach beläuft sich der Nettogewinn nun auf 21,1 Mio. Dollar bzw. 5 Cents je Aktie. Ohne Einmaleffekte liegt der Gewinn unverändert bei 8 Cents pro Aktie. Analysten waren auf dieser Basis von einem EPS-Ergebnis von 7 Cents ausgegangen. Die Aktie von Sanmina-SCI schloss am Freitag an der NASDAQ bei 4,05 Dollar.

Nach meinem aktuellen Kenntbissrand ist Sanmina auf Kur Nord, und das aber Steil.

Die MItteilung nach meinem Kenntnisstand wurde die Mittteilung, von NASDAQ aufgehoben.

Dies spricht dafür, das demnächst innerhalb der nächsten Tage der heftige RUN staffinden wird, Kaufpanik usw.

OWEGO, N.Y. — Lockheed Martin and Sanmina-SCI signed a teaming agreement, allowing them to collaborate in a bid for the U.S. Army's next-generation digital intercommunications system contract. The job is worth $3.5 billion over about five years. The companies plan to offer an enhanced tactical vehicle version of Sanmina's TOCNET intercommunication system. The Army will use the vehicular intercommunication system — extended (VIS-X) to upgrade 54,000 intercom systems in tanks, trucks, and other tactical wheeled vehicles with improved on-the-move, command-and-control, over-the-horizon voice and data communications. The contract will be directed by its Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) in Ft. Monmouth, N.J., and may be announced by mid-2008. Lockheed and Sanmina expect the contract to be worth about five years' indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity business. The collaborative bid is a low-risk, off-the-shelf digital system designed for battlefield environments, said Michele Evans, VP of aircraft systems, Lockheed Martin Systems Integration. It also includes testing, fielding, training, and maintenance of the electronics systems. Lockheed and Sanmina will manage logistics to ensure global support.
