Gaming Background

Lottery operations have been in China since 1987 when Premier                        Deng Xiao Peng approved the sale of lottery games to enable the                          country to extract welfare funds from the gaming industry.

Currently, the Ministry of Finance administers gaming operations.                      There are 2 main streams of gaming operations; one under the China                      Welfare Lottery Centre (“CWLC”) and the other under the General                    Administration of Sports (“GAoS”). The two operations share the total                  annual gaming revenue of approximately RMB 70 billion.

With adequate financial support, CEH will grow into one of the biggest         entertainment and gaming companies in the region. The Memorandum of                 Cooperation with CACF which involves CEH assisting with the implementation             of CACF’s future plans, will prove to be an exceptionally valuable                 opportunity for CEH in its future business development and integral to the           company positioning itself for national expansion.

Sino Strategic International Ltd (“SSI”) is pleased to advise that the Company has
appointed Dato Lim Kim Wah as the Company’s new CEO for the gaming operation in
China. Dato Lim was the former Group CEO of Magnum Corporation Berhad of Malaysia.
With a market capitalization of Malaysian Ringgit 4.06 billion (A$1.37 billion), Magnum is
one of the largest gaming companies in the world. Magnum is principally engaged in the
gaming business, being the pioneer and market leader in the Malaysian authorized gaming
industry. Magnum commenced in 1969 with 143 sales outlets, promoting, operating and
managing a 4 digit numbers game. The company has currently 470 outlets throughout
Malaysia selling a wide range of games and also uses the internet and mobile phone
technology to promote its games. Besides gaming, Magnum is also involved in property
and leisure, overseas investments, printing and information technology.
Dato Lim’s appointment with SSI, firstly as advisor to the International Advisory Board,
and now as China CEO, will add significantly greater depth of gaming industry knowledge
and operational expertise to the Company’s operation in China. He will be based in
Shanghai to oversee the Company’s gaming operation.
Dato Lim replaces Mr. Edwin Yuen as the China CEO. Mr. Edwin Yuen has been a key
member of the management team during the developmental stage of the Company’s
business in China in the past two years. Mr. Edwin Yuen remains on the Board of SSI as a
non-executive director.
With SSI now having established the largest gaming retail network in China with over 400
outlets, it is important that the Company secures strong expertise from an experienced
operator in the gaming industry to maximize the operations of these sales outlets and other
sales platforms such as www.kenogames.cn. The Board of SSI is delighted with Dato
Lim’s appointment.

"Re: Execution of Formal Agreement with Shanghai Sports Lottery Administration
Sino Strategic International Ltd (“SSI”) is pleased to advise that the Agreement between Shanghai
Sports Lottery Administration (“SSLA”) and SSI’s wholly owned subsidiary Shanghai Kelo
Investment Management Company (“Shanghai Kelo”) was signed on the 27th September 2007. The
Agreement allows Shanghai Kelo to distribute all existing and new SSLA products including the
newly launched high frequency game “Instant Happy Lottery”.
The Agreement is for 2 years and renewable.
The signing of the Agreement helps cement SSI’s relationship with the two Authorities controlling
legalized gaming in Shanghai, namely, SSLA and Shanghai Welfare Lottery Issuance Centre
(“SWLC”). Shanghai Kelo’s retail Points of Sales (“POS”) will provide the full range of legalized
games provided by the two authorities, becoming “one stop shop” destinations for gaming
customers. Installation of SSLA sales terminals into Shanghai Kelo POSs will commence from the
second week of October 2007.
As SSLA operates under the auspices of China Sports Lottery Administration of the Central
Government, which is the legal operator of all sports related games including traditional sports
lotto games and sports (soccer, basketball) betting, this Agreement further strengthens Shanghai
Kelo’s ability to participate in sports betting opportunities which will arise in the near future.
Importantly the Agreement also requires Shanghai Kelo to assist SSLA in developing new products
for the Shanghai market with the additional requirement to introduce new technology and products
developed by foreign suppliers. SSI is actively pursuing these opportunities with major gaming
companies.

GoConnect’s video sharing media properties enjoying exponential growth in traffic
GoConnect has continued to enjoy exponential growth in traffic and unique user numbers for its video sharing sites, www.tokillfor.com and www.gay2share.com .
www.tokillfor.com was launched in mid December 2006 and when last reported at the end of April 2007, had 40,000 video views for that month. Video views have since then grown by 96% to nearly 80,000 for the month of September 2007. Page view impressions have grown by 44% between April 2007 and September 2007 to over 252,000 while the number of monthly unique users has grown at an even faster rate of over 177% to over 14,000 users.
Since launch in mid July 2007, www.gay2share.com has enjoyed similarly very strong growth, with its traffic numbers fast catching up with www.tokillfor.com despite the fact that it has been live for less than 3 months. www.gay2share.com was the first video sharing site launched for the gay and lesbian community in the world. For the month of September 2007, it clocked up over 51,000 video views and generated over 316,000 page view impressions from over 13,000 unique users.
The two video sharing media properties have now achieved a combined unique user base of in excess of 27,000.
The appointment of Viva9, leading online marketing agent, in August 2007 to manage GoConnect’s online advertising sales for the video sharing sites, has meant that these sites have commenced generating advertising revenue much earlier than the company’s previous expectation. Although revenue generated is still small, the infrastructure has now been established to generate reasonable revenue when user traffic grows to more substantial levels. A number of initiatives, including revenue sharing with online users to these video-sharing sites, have been introduced to support the continuing growth of user traffic in the coming months, and site users are responding well to these initiatives.
GoConnect’s Research and Development team which developed the patented video delivery platform GoTrek in 2000, continues to produce innovative enhancements to mobile and online video delivery. The R&D team will be providing support for delivering advertising to these video sharing sites, not just in the form of banner ads, but also in video ads in order to further boost revenue. The technology for delivering video ads will be unique to GoConnect and as the global market continues to grow in online video sharing, GoConnect’s unique technology in this space will become even more valuable.

"Re: Product diversification continues to deliver record Weekly sales
Sino Strategic International Ltd (“SSI”) is pleased to report that for the week ended 7
October 2007, total weekly sales achieved a record RMB 2.352 million.
As previously reported, over the last six months the Company has been focused on
improving the quality of the existing Point of Sales (“POS”) network by rationalizing non
performing POSs, strengthening customer relationship, introducing sales incentives for
POS managers, and introducing new gaming products. To this end overall POS numbers
have been relatively constant and are currently 427, inclusive of three Video Lottery
Terminal (“VLT”) outlets.
The benefits of product diversification are shown in the attached sales chart which
highlights the recent strong growth of VLT sales and traditional lotto sales. Over the last 8
weeks overall sales have increased by 22% consisting of 14% growth from Keno and
Shishile (3-digit game) but 36% from Welfare lotto and 38% from VLTs. It is expected that
this trend of stronger growth from lotto and VLTs will continue.
Product diversification benefits are expected to receive a further strong boost in the near
future as a result of the agreement recently signed with Shanghai Sports Lottery
Administration (“SSLA”). As previously reported the full range of current and future SSLA
games will be rolled out through the POS network improving the stores cost to revenue
ratios and lifting the profile of the stores to “one stop shop” gaming outlets.
The timing of this SSLA rollout will coincide with the launch of a new high frequency
game scheduled for the 18 October 2007. Thereafter, our POSs will benefit from the
retailing of both existing Welfare Lottery games as well as traditional Sports lotto and the new high frequency Sports Lottery game."

Re: Shanghai Kelo works closely with SSLA in successful launch of new gaming products Sino Strategic International Ltd (“SSI”) is pleased to advise that its wholly owned subsidiary, Shanghai Kelo Investment Management Company Ltd (“Shanghai Kelo”) hosted the official launch of new gaming products for Shanghai Sports Lottery Administration (“SSLA”) on 18 October 2007 at its Multi-function Entertainment Centre at Hong Kou, Shanghai.

SSLA launched their new high frequency game, “5 out of 22”, successfully on 18 October 2007 through 200 distribution outlets in Shanghai. Of the 200 outlets, 93 are Shanghai Kelo existing gaming distribution Points of Sales (“POS”). By the end of October, 2007, Shanghai Kelo expects to have 200 of its existing outlets equipped with SSLA terminals to retail the “5 out of 22” high frequency game as well as SSLA’s traditional Sports Lotto products.

As the additional products from SSLA are marketed within Shanghai Kelo’s existing POS network, they can be expected to increase Shanghai Kelo’s turnover significantly over time without much increase in operating overheads. Currently, Shanghai Kelo enjoys 75% market share in Welfare Keno sales in Shanghai. It is expected that its share of the SSLA “5 out of 22” high frequency game turnover in Shanghai will exceed 50% in the short term.

The new “5 out of 22” game offers a top prize of RMB 25,000 and is played every 10 minutes between the hours of 9am and 10pm with 78 games played each day. Initial acceptance of the game was highly encouraging and players remarked at the ease to play the game and the improved odds of winning prize money. The new high frequency game from SSLA is retailed along side the Shanghai Welfare Lottery’s Welfare Keno game in which players select 10 out of 80 numbers with a top prize of RMB 200,000.

Shanghai Kelo has developed a close working relationship with SSLA culminating in the signing of a formal agreement in late September 2007. Shanghai Kelo has played an important role in the successful launch of the new SSLA high frequency game and on behalf of SSLA, was responsible for the development of the software for user interface and display design of the game.

The close working relationship between Shanghai Kelo and SSLA bodes well for the continuing participation of Shanghai Kelo in the launch of any additional new games by SSLA, and in particular, sports betting, within the existing Shanghai Kelo POS network.

It is expected that sports betting will be legalized nationwide as from the beginning of 2008 with Shanghai joining the nationwide launch at the same time. Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, and Guangzhou are regarded as the four Soccer Cities of China.

Sports betting in China turns over significant amounts of money each year, estimated by industry sources to be US$10 billion a month, with most of that being illegal activities. The government has started to crack down hard on such illegal activities and since January 2007 has been trialing legalized forms of sports betting in three provinces, in Beijing, Tianjin, and Guangdong, prior to national legalization.

growth, firmly establishing their presence on the Internet video sharing market.
www.tokillfor.com was launched in mid December 2006 while, www.gay2share.com was
launched in July 2007. For the month of September 2007, we reported previously that the
combined unique user population of the two sites was over 27,000 people with total video
views of over 131,000. Video views grew by 23% to over 162,000 for the month of October
2007. Combined page view impressions have grown by 26.4% between September 2007 and
October 2007 from 568,000 to over 718,000 while the number of monthly unique users grew
at 3.2% to over 28,000 users.
However, user traffic growth in the first 11 days of November 2007 has exceeded our
expectations substantially, with the combined page view impressions and unique user
population already exceeding those for the entire month of October 2007. The two video
sharing media properties have now achieved a combined unique user base in the first 11 days
of November of in excess of 62,700, an increase of 117.7% over that for the entire month of
October 2007. Likewise, page view impressions of over 950,300 in the first 11 days of
November were already 32.4% above that for the entire month of October 2007. These vastly
improved results to-date give us great confidence to project that we are well on track to
achieving the 100,000 unique user base target by end of December 2007, a user base that can
be expected to generate healthy revenue for GoConnect.
Besides the appointment of Viva9 in August 2007 as our online marketing agent to manage
GoConnect’s online advertising sales for the video sharing sites, GoConnect is further
expanding its advertising sales infrastructure to generate revenue when user traffic grows to
even more substantial levels. A number of initiatives, including revenue sharing with online
users and establishing marketing affiliates have been introduced, to support the continuing
growth of user traffic and advertising sales in the coming months.
GoConnect has a very resourceful Research and Development team that has also accumulated
tremendous amount of experience in mobile and online video delivery. Our R&D team will
also be providing support for delivering advertising to these video sharing sites, not just in the
form of banner ads, but also in video ads in order to further boost revenue. The technology

Das Wachstum ist stark! Allerdings weist der "Bericht" nicht darauf hin,
das dieses Wachstum vorallem durch www.gay2share.com angetrieben wurde,
während www.tokillfor.com in etwa bei seinen Ergebnissen vom
September liegen sollte! Auch das advertising auf der Seite hat
deutlich abgenommen, während auf www.gay2share.com die Werbung stark
ausgebaut werden konnte!

Wenn man dann noch bedenkt, wie lange es die jeweiligen Seiten schon gibt
(tokillfor.com 11 Monate ; gay2share.com 5 Monate) ,zeigt sich, wie gut
sich www.gay2share.com (im direkten Vergleich) beim Wachstum entwickelt
hat!

Trotz dieses Erfolges bleibt es sehr schwer einzuschätzen, welche Größe
diese Seiten erreichen müssen, um nennenswerte Einnahmen aus dem
Werbegeschäft generieren zu können!

www.gay2share.com have achieved a combined unique user base of in excess of 111,000 in
the first 2 1/2 weeks of November 2007.
www.tokillfor.com was launched in mid December 2006 while, www.gay2share.com was
launched in July 2007. For the month of September 2007, we reported previously that the
combined unique user population of the two sites was over 27,000 people with total video
views of over 131,000. Video views grew by 23% to over 162,000 for the month of October
2007. Combined page view impressions have grown by 26.4% between September 2007 and
October 2007 from 568,000 to over 718,000 while the number of monthly unique users grew
at 3.2% to over 28,000 users.
However, since we reported on the user traffic growth for these sites on 13 November, user
traffic has continued to surge ahead. For the first 19 days of November 2007, the combined
page view impressions and unique user population have far exceeded those for the entire
month of October 2007. The two video sharing media properties have now achieved a
combined unique user base in the first 19 days of November of in excess of 111,000, an
increase of 288.8% over the entire month of October’s unique user base. Page view
impressions of over 1,494,000 in the first 19 days of November were already 108% above
that for the entire month of October 2007. These latest results are well ahead of what we
previously forecast to be achievable by the end of December 2007. These results give
GoConnect even more confidence to expand its online advertising sales team to support the
generation of revenue from these sites as well as from our other traditional media properties.
GoConnect’s Research and Development team is playing an integral role in the delivery of
advertising to these video sharing sites. This is not just in the form of traditional banner ads,
but also the more innovative video ads which generate a greater response from viewers and
hence revenue from advertisers.. The technology used in the delivery of these video ads
(interstitials) will be unique to GoConnect with the ability to deliver video ads on our video
sharing sites by the end of November 2007."

gaming with total weekly sales crossing the RMB 3 million threshold
Sino Strategic International Ltd (“SSI” or “the Company”) is pleased to report that for the
week ended 25 November 2007, total weekly sales achieved a record RMB 3.018 million,
crossing yet another important milestone in the short history of the Company’s Shanghai
gaming distribution network.
The benefits of the Company’s product diversification strategy is becoming increasingly
evident in the past few weeks with Video Lottery Terminals (“VLT”), Welfare lotto and
Sports Lottery games becoming important contributors to the total weekly sales
performance. Since we last reported to the ASX on 10 October 2007 for the week ended 7
October 2007, total weekly sales have increased by 28.3% over these 7 weeks. The
strongest growth was achieved by the traditional Welfare lotto game which increased by
65.9 % and VLT sales by 17.7%. Sports Lottery sales which only began in the week ended
21 October are already accounting for 8.4% of total weekly sales.
Importantly, total traditional Welfare lotto sales exceeded total Keno sales for the first time
despite the fact that this game is distributed in less than 70% of all POS outlets. Sports
Lottery games, on sale for only 6 weeks, already accounted for over 8% of total weekly
sales with distribution from just over 30% of all POS. The 3 upmarket VLT sales outlets
accounted for close to 10% of total weekly sales.
These results demonstrate that traditional Welfare lotto, VLT and Sports Lottery games
hold the most promise to accelerate the Company’s sales performance moving forward. The
sales performance of these 3 products provides confidence that sales can be increased
substantially considering that these games are still very much under represented across our
entire existing distribution network. Efforts are continuing to increase their representation
across the network particularly in respect of Sports Lottery games in the immediate term.
Optimising the number of outlets and the most appropriate mix of games sold from these
outlets will utilize the skills and experience and be a prime focus for the recently appointed
Shanghai based China CEO, Dato Lim Kim Wah"

GoConnect stellte schon vor mehreren Monaten die Werbung für Pharmasafe
( "Liver Bioguard" ) auf seiner online video site www.tokillfor.com ein!

Kurze Zeit später gab SSI bekannt, das sie ihren 40 %igen Anteil an
Pharmasafe verkaufen würden!

Seit heute wirbt GCN aber wieder (auf beiden online video sites) für
"Liver Bioguard" !!??

Entweder hat sich SSI dazu entschieden, seinen Anteil nun doch zu halten
(unwahrscheinlich) ODER SSI findet keinen Käufer für diesen 40 %igen
Anteil (deutlich wahrscheinlicher) !!

Umsatz:         510.323 AUD  (-  17.765 AUD zum Vorquartal)

Fehlbetrag:  2.171.619 AUD  (- 439.416 AUD zum Vorquartal)

Die Zahlen unter der Lupe... :

Obwohl SSI den (von mir "angekündigten") Umsatzrekord nicht geschafft hat,
bin ich mit dem Zahlenwerk gesamt gesehen zufrieden! Der leichte Umsatzrückgang
bei SSI ist ausschließlich auf die einbrechenden Umsätze der
Tochtergesellschaften (GoConnect Ltd. und Sino Investment Services Ltd.)
zurückzuführen! Während es bei den Tochtergesellschaften zu
Umsatzeinbußen kam, konnte SSI die Ergebnisse im Kerngeschäft
(Glücksspiel in China) weiter verbessern und hat meine Erwartungen
(390.000 AUD) ziemlich exakt getroffen (+/- 10.000 AUD)!

Zudem hat es SSI im 2.Quartal geschafft seine Restrukturierung erfolgreich
fortzuführen! Trotz eines leichten Umsatzrückganges konnte SSI
durch Kostensenkungsmaßnahmen seinen Fehlbetrag im Vergleich zum Vorquartal
um 439.416 AUD (auf 2.171.619 AUD) senken!

SSI hat bekannt gegeben, dass die Sportwetten wahrscheinlich im April
eingeführt werden (bisher "Anfang 3.Quartal"). Hier kommt es also zu einer
Verzögerung bei der Einführung neuer Produkte!
Trotz dieser Verzögerung erwarte ich in den nächsten Monaten  
weitere Verbesserung im Glücksspielgeschäft!

Die negativen Einflüße der Tochtergesellschaften werden die Ergebnisse von
SSI wahscheinlich auch in den nächsten Quartalen beeinflußen!
Allerdings erwarte ich, das diese in den nächsten Quartalen deutlich an
Kraft verlieren (da die Umsätze dieser Unternehmen ohnehin schon sehr niedrig
sind)

Ausblick:

Ich rechne damit, das es SSI in den nächsten Monaten weiter gelingen wird
seine Umsätze im Kerngeschäft sukzessive zu steigern, während die
Kosten konstant bleiben sollten! Ich erwarte also weitere Verbesserungen im
operativem Ergebnis! (SSI wird seine Fehlbeträge weiter senken können)!

Aus meiner Sicht wird es SSI in naher Zukunft nicht schaffen ein
ausgeglichenes Ergebnis zu präsentieren! Mittelfristig halte ich dieses
allerdings für durchaus denkbar! (9 Monate +)

Hab zwar Deinen Kommentar überhaupt nicht verstanden, aber jedenfalls kommt der Ausdruck *lach* darin vor.

Wie beruhigend, dass Dir das Lachen noch nicht vergangen ist!
