ATAC Resources Drills 19.85 g/t Gold Over 8.51 Metres at Its Newest Carlin-Type Gold Discovery Located 10 km West of Osiris

(TSX VENTURE:ATC) announces that it has made a major new Carlin-type gold discovery within the Nadaleen Trend on its 100% owned 185 km long Rackla Gold Project, Yukon. The discovery hole tested a prospecting find located approximately 10 km west of the Conrad, Osiris, Isis, Isis East gold zones in a new area not previously drill tested. This new gold zone has been named Anubis.

• First diamond drill hole at Anubis (AN-12-001) intersects 8.51 metres of 19.85 g/t gold;
• Four surface outcrop grab samples above the discovery hole graded 139.0, 125.0, 122.0 and 84.2 g/t gold;
• 1 km long gold-in-soil anomaly outlined along a well-defined regional-scale northwest trending lineament in an area of poor bedrock exposure;
• Hand pit profile samples 600 m northwest of AN-12-001 along the lineament returned gold grades up to 5.59 g/t gold; and,
• A hand pit grab sample taken from a parallel lineament and geochemical anomaly 500 m northeast of the 1 km long gold-in-soil anomaly returned 0.88 g/t gold.

Interessanter Explorer, danke fürs Einstellen. Die sind Anfang September auf eine hübsche Gold-Ader gestoßen. Es handelt sich bis dato jedoch nur um eine Trenching-Discovery, demnach muss man aufpassen und die Bohrergebnisse erst einmal abwarten.

Interessant ist, dass Herr Flemming an Bord ist; einer der Drahtzieher hinter Underworld Resources, wer sich erinnert. Mit der Entdeckung des White Gold Districts im Yukon (südlich von Dawson) von Underworld (danach Übernahme durch Kinross Gold) wurde der Hype in diesem kanadischen Bundesstaat eingeleitet. Parallel stoß ATAC im Rau Belt auf die Tiger Zone, Kaminak folgte ein wenig später mit der ersten Discovery.

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 18, 2012) - Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (TSX VENTURE:GSV)(NYSE MKT:GSV)(NYSE Amex:GSV) ("Gold Standard" or the "Company") (www.goldstandardv.com) today released results from four more core holes drilled into the North Bullion Fault Zone (NBFZ) target at its near 100% owned/controlled Railroad Project in the Carlin Trend of Nevada.

The new results confirm the emergence of a growing high-grade core zone. New drill hole RR12-10, drilled to the east at an angle of -60 degrees, intersected a 407 foot (124.1m) interval of continuous gold mineralization averaging 0.118 oz Au/st, (4.05 g Au/t). RR 12-10 is a 260 foot (80m) northward step-out from hole RR12-01, drilled to the east at -55 degrees, which intersected 537 feet (164m) of 0.099 oz Au/st (3.38 g Au/t). RR12-01 was, in turn, a 330 foot (100m) northward step-out from RR11-16, the NBFZ discovery hole drilled eastward at -70 degrees, which intersected 185 feet (56.4m) grading 0.124 oz Au/st (4.26 g Au/t). Each of these three holes returned significant intervals above 0.21 oz Au/st (7 g Au/t). RR12-18 and 12-19, now in progress, represent additional northward step-outs to explore the extension of this high-grade core zone. (see location link).

Highlights of 12-10 include:

• Thick interval of 407 feet (124.1m) of 0.118 oz Au/st, (4.05 g Au/t) of continuous gold mineralization
• A high-grade core zone comprised of 142 feet (43.3m) of 0.220 oz Au/st, (7.54 g Au/t) including 54 feet (16.5m) of 0.44 oz Au/st. (15.1 g Au/t)
• Similar high-grade has now been intersected in three holes spanning a north-to-south strike continuity of 590 feet (180 meters).
• The high-grade mineralization remains open to the north, east and west.
• Thick intervals of gold mineralization averaging 0.013 to 0.015 oz Au/st, (0.446 to 0.514 g Au/t) were encountered in nearly 1000 feet (305m) of core, almost to the bottom of the hole.
• RR12-10 expands the potential for a major gold deposit within the NBFZ and confirms that its mineralization is similar to the larger, more robust gold deposits on the northern part of the Carlin Trend..

Binnen weniger Minuten sind die WTI- und Brentölpreise um knapp 4 USD gefallen, ohne dass es dafür einen erkennbaren Grund gegeben hätte: Impulse gab es weder von der Währungsseite, noch von den Aktienmärkten, noch von der Nachrichtenfront. Solch starke Preisausschläge lassen Kritik am Hochfrequenzhandel (HFT) und dem übertriebenen Einfluss der Spekulanten auf den wichtigsten Rohstoff aufkommen und dürften von Politik und Börsenregulatoren genau beobachtet werden. Damit wird auch häufig der gesamte Preisfeststellungsmechanismus der Börse in Frage gestellt. Es ist wohl die 100-Billionen-Dollar-Frage, ob die Aufkaufprogramme für hypothekengesicherte Anleihen und Staatsanleihen, die von den Notenbanken nun im Wochentakt angekündigt werden, den erhofften Erfolg bringen werden. In den letzten Jahren hatten solche Programme nur zu einer vorübergehenden Beruhigung der Finanzmärkte geführt und der reellen Wirtschaft nicht nachhaltig auf die Beine helfen können. Für die Preisentwicklung der Sachwerte wie Rohstoffe ist es aber nicht so entscheidend, ob die unterstützenden Impulse von der monetären oder realwirtschaftlichen Seite kommen. Ihren Aufwärtstrend dürften diese (vorerst) beibehalten..

Is ja gut carpe diem, war gar nicht meine Absicht dich so unverschämt zu stören. Ich lass den Beitrag auch gleich löschen. Versprochen! 

Nein, ist doch alles gut - das meinte ich gar nicht ;-) Kritische Statements zum Sektor u. diversen Sektor sind doch stets erwünscht, sofern sie konstruktiv sind imho. Dass du u. die Aktionäre bei Fortescue (?)  übelst geripped worden sind, ist ja kein Geheimnis. Das trifft ja auch schließlich auf eine Vielzahl von Stories zu, und hier bringt auch nicht mal der "Milliardärs-Bonus" etwas. Jedoch kann man anhand solcher Stories nicht alles auf den gesamtem Sektor übertragen, das meinte ich mit meinem Comment. Es gibt eine ganze Handvoll von TOP Unternehmen, die sich auch erfolgreich in diesen schweren Zeiten behaupten können, und die Krise meistern werden. Die Perlen unter ihnen gilt es zu finden, und das kann man ohne wenn und aber schaffen; vgl. mein Anfangspost in diesem Thread - davon distanziere ich mich nicht, im Gegenteil. Ansonsten würde ich mich sehr über deine Beiträge freuen ;-) GL

Neue Discovery auf dem JV-Projekt 'TV Tower' (JV mit Teck Resources) sorgt heute für ordentlichen Kaufdruck u. den Ausbruch aus dem Abwärtstrend unter hohem Volumen. Das sind sehr ansehnliche Gold- und Kupfergehalte auf eine wirklich starken Länge. Das deutet auf eine signifikante Mineralisierung hin, die das indentifizierte Mineralsystem Richtung Süden ausweitet. Hole KCD-39 ist das bis dahin beste Bohrloch, dass Pilot Gold gedrilled hat.

(PLG - TSX) is pleased to report that the first two drill holes of the 2012 program at the Kucukdag (KCD) target at the TV Tower project in Turkey have returned long intervals of high grade gold, silver and copper. Highlighted is drill hole KCD-39, which returned 5.94 grams per tonne gold, 12.6 g/t silver and 0.53% copper over 137.1 metres, which extends the high-grade gold/silver/copper breccia zone in discovery hole KCD-02 over 50 metres to the south.  Pilot Gold assumed operatorship of the project in July, 2012 (see press release dated June 21, 2012).
