Orckit has developed most types of Digital Subscriber Line technology -- HDSL, ADSL, RADSL and VDSL -- resulting in the CopperTrunk and FastInternet families of DSL Products.

The name CopperTrunk fuses together two seemingly contradictory elements, "copper", the traditional medium for transmission of analog voice service, and "trunk", the high speed fiber optic lines that form today's telecommunication backbone for voice and data. By deploying Orckit's family of DSL products, telecommunications carriers can achieve trunk-like capacity over their existing copper lines in a point-to-point architecture.

FastInternet is a highly flexible DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) system that incorporates several different "flavors" of DSL on to a unified platform, along with concentrating technology that enables a cost effective system approach.
