MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 30, 2004--Universal Communication Systems Inc. (OTCBB:UCSY) announced today that it has this week completed the purchase of the remaining 50% equity of Solar Style Limited from MCO Ltd., the remaining shareholder. The consideration paid was 500,000 restricted shares, and Warrants for 1 million additional shares at a strike price of $0.10, exercisable for 2 years.
Company Chairman, Michael J. Zwebner, stated: "We are pleased that we have now successfully acquired the remaining shares in the company. We are now ready to move forward in our marketing plans. To this end, we have formed a new US subsidiary: Solar Style Inc., and have this week launched the company's new web site: www.solarstyleinc.com wherein the entire range of products are well displayed. We have commenced a national sales program offering our exclusive range of PV Solar Chargers which are patented and unique in design. The PV Solar Chargers include applications for Cell Phones, Walkmans, Discmans, PDA's, and even Laptops. We expect to do well with these retail consumer products."

Ich halte den Titel für absolut kaufenswert. Gerade jetzt wo die Market Cap. bei 10 Mio liegt ist der Titel schwe... billig. Der CEO hat erst vor zwei Wochen nochmal 2 Mio Aktien seiner eigenen Firma gekauft. Weiterhin wurden die selbst gesetzten Ziele für 2004 bereits jetzt übertroffen.
Ich denke, wir Aktionäre dürfen uns auf die nächsten Quartalszahlen freuen. Aber auch bis dahin ist noch viel Luft nach oben.

HERZELIA, Israel, May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Universal Communication Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UCSY) subsidiary Millennium Electric T.O.U. Ltd announced today that it has been approved for an Award of euro 908,493 ($1.135 million) in a Consortium Agreement by the Commission for the European Community, (http://europa.eu.int) in the framework of the Cooperative Research Program, for ongoing development within the framework of the FP6 European Commission R&D project.
The project, in a range of euro 908,493 (approx $1.135 million), also includes several other European participants and will be coordinated by Millennium Electric TOU Limited, the holders of the International Patents Technology and Applications.
Ami Elazari, President of Millennium Electric, stated: "The objective of this project is to further develop our world-class Millennium brand PV Collectors, and move in the direction of the solar industry which is building Integrated Photo-Voltaic Energy Production Systems, by developing a new generation of advanced PV Solar Panels that will be capable of being integrated into any type of building, to serve as different structural elements, whether as roof tiles, windows or even facades. To date, over 100 such Systems have been successfully installed in Israel and around the world and have been working successfully for over 13 years. This new award by the European Commission will help move this technology into the next phase, and bring the next generation of 'Green Energy' to the building industry and beyond."

Company Accepts Private Placement for $300,000
Universal Communication Systems, Inc. (OTC BB: UCSY) company chairman Michael J. Zwebner announced today that the company has fully settled the Promissory Notes with Andrews Corporation for a $300,000 payment. The amount was settled with a cash payment in the amount of $270,000, and the issuance of 300,000 shares of UCSY. The shares were originally issued to Andrews Corporation in October 2002. The company has underwritten any shortfall up to $30,000 following the disposition of the shares.
Additionally, the Company has entered into a subscription agreement in the amount of $300,000 with ALPHA CAPITAL AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT, Vaduz, Lichtenstein. The subscription calls for the issuance of 30,000 shares of Series A 8% Cumulative Convertible Preferred Stock. The preferred shares shall be converted at a per share conversion price equal to $0.033. The subscription has been fully paid.
In addition, the company issued Warrants to the Subscribers. One (1) Warrant was issued for each two (2) Shares of Common Stock issuable upon conversion of the preferred shares. The per Warrant Share exercise price shall be $0.05 and shall be exercisable for five years after the issue date of the Warrants.
