Renesas Technology and On Track Innovations (OTI) to Introduce a New Microcontroller-Based Contactless Payment Solution for Banks
• Product Designed to Help Credit Card Manufacturers Provide a Cost-Effective, High-Quality System for American Banks
• Solution Approved/Certified by MasterCard PayPass and Visa
Renesas Technology supplies the contactless microcontroller based on its AE-series smart card controller technology and OTI provides the operating system and application, and the contactless card technology including the inlay technology. The combination of Renesas’ secured contactless AE41R microcontroller and OTI’s Hercules operating system bundled in OTI’s contactless products and technology enables the development of a robust solution that meets the stringent security requirements of the payments industry, while also supporting the speed and convenience that is essential in contactless transactions.

Sir Charles
sie können einfach keine klare Meldung absetzen!
The initial order is valued at US $550,000 which will be recognized in 2014. Further expansion may be possible during the life span of the project.
OTI PetroSmart has supplied its packaged home base solution for the first phase of the project, and is currently processing orders for the next two phases
Alles weitere bitte selbst lesen (falls Interesse).
the registrant received notice of the resignation of Richard K. Coleman, Jr. from his position as director of the registrant effective immediately. Mr. Coleman advised the registrant his decision to resign is solely for personal reasons and time considerations due to new commitments that conflicted with his position as director of the registrant, including his recent election to the board of Ciber, Inc. and his nomination as a director of Hudson Global, Inc., and did not involve any disagreement with the registrant, the registrant’s management or the Board of Directors.
On Track Innovations Ltd. (oti) (OTIV), a global provider of near field communication (NFC) and cashless payment solutions, has expanded the capabilities of the 84 transit ticket vending machines operated by its electronic ticket systems subsidiary, ASEC S.A., for the Mazovia Railway System in Poland.
Integrated oti NFC contactless card readers now allow travelers and commuters to easily use any NFC-enabled credit/debit card or mobile device to recharge their pre-paid phone cards issued by Mobile Network Operators (MNO) in Poland.
Currently supported pre-paid cards include those issued by T-Mobile, Heyah, Play, Plus, Orange, NJU Mobile and Lycamobile. The machines accept traditional credit/debit card and cash payments and will also support oti’s new WAVE device that makes any mobile device NFC-capable.
“The intuitive touch-screen interface of our ticket vending machines combined with an oti NFC reader makes the card reloading process extremely quick, easy and secure,” said Anat Arazi, president of ASEC. “This new capability also enhances the overall experience of using Mazovia Railway System by making life easier for busy travelers and commuters.”
Over the last year, the ASEC automated ticketing network has enabled more than 62 million trips on the Mazovia Railway. The network and railway span approximately 38,000 square miles in Poland, from Radom in the south to Dzialdowo in the north, and from Siedlce in the east up to Kutno in the west, with the city of Warsaw as the central hub.
ASEC’s ticket vending machines are located in highly trafficked railway stations or stops and can be used 24x7. The sale of the transaction is facilitated by epay Poland, a division of Euronet Worldwide, a leading global electronic payments provider and distributor. “The convenient locations and easy use of these machines supported our decision to cooperate with ASEC and provide services in its favor,” noted Barbara Szewc, marketing manager, epay Poland.
According to Ofer Tziperman, CEO of oti: “This added convenience for ASEC ticketing customers also represents another revenue stream from these ticketing terminals, as well as potentially from other NFC-enabled vending applications.”
Revenues generated from this new capability for refilling pre-paid phone cards are included in the estimated $4.7 million transaction fees revenues for the Mazovia Railway System over five years as was announced by oti in April 2013.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa & ROSH PINA, Israel--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
OTI PetroSmart, a global Value Added Reseller of petroleum equipment products and a wholly owned subsidiary of On Track Innovations Ltd. (oti) (OTIV), has been awarded a major 15-year contract from a government ministry in Southern Africa for its EasyFuel Plus management system.
OTI PetroSmart and its local operating partner will deploy the EasyFuel Plus ‘contactless’ solution to facilitate automated refueling at the ministry’s national network of more than 15 “home base” sites and a few thousand vehicles. The initial order is valued at US $550,000 which will be recognized in 2014. Further expansion may be possible during the life span of the project.
OTI PetroSmart’s local operating partner licensed oti’s complete EasyFuel Plus back-office suite in order to provide the ministry a range of services, including help desk, account management and bureau services.
OTI PetroSmart has supplied its packaged home base solution for the first phase of the project, and is currently processing orders for the next two phases. The scope of the project includes the supply of automatic tank gauging equipment, automatic vehicle identification, as well as various risk management systems. EasyFuel Plus also provides automatic odometer or engine hour outputs that helps customers effectively manage fuel consumption.
“This important customer win reflects how adoption of our EasyFuel Plus is gaining momentum across Southern Africa,” said Charlotte Hambly-Nuss, managing director of OTI PetroSmart. “Our growing customer base includes prominent petroleum retailers, major commercial fleets and government agencies. Many of our long-existing customers who deployed our legacy cabled solution are now looking to upgrade to EasyFuel Plus, which is a more cost effective and scalable solution to implement and maintain.”
Ofer Tziperman, CEO of oti, commented: “We expect the strong sales efforts by OTI PetroSmart to result in additional major orders through the year. Our EasyFuel Plus line of business is becoming an increasingly important growth engine for oti as it continues to gain adoption by major market leaders.”
"The company’s petroleum payment solutions have already been deployed in 43 countries, more than 1,600 gas stations, and over 100,000 commercial vehicles. “We are working to build upon this momentum and address a widening pipeline of global opportunities,” added Tziperman, “which includes those within our existing customer and partner relationships.”
About EasyFuel Plus
In EasyFuel Plus’s most basic configuration, wireless readers installed in a gas station and contactless readers installed on the nozzle access information stored on a vehicle mounted tag or alternatively on a passive contactless tag mounted around the fuel inlet. This information is required to approve any fuel transaction and should the information not prove valid, refuelling is denied.
The validity of the method of payment can be verified offline or online. Due to the flexibility and security of the oti technology platform, a wide range of business rules such as the fuel grade, tank capacity and velocity checks can be managed offline.
OTI PetroSmart’s ability to support pre-payment on its devices, including vehicle tags (without the reliance on back-end systems) further serves to differentiate its product offering. For further information about EasyFuel Plus visit www.otipetrosmart.com.
ich denke, es könnten "besondere" Zahlen kommen:
-sehr früher Termin
-Chaiman mit an Bord
oti CEO Ofer Tziperman, CFO Shay Tomer, and Chairman Dimitrios Angelis will host the presentation, followed by a question and answer period.
bin mal gespannt
