Sino Forest
Das erweckt für mich den anschein das der Kurs (noch) nicht steigen darf und noch unten gehalten wird!
Mr. Block von MuddyWaters hat eingeräumt, dass er kräftig Leerverkäufe auf Sino-F. getätigt hat: Das mache er stets so, wenn er eine Expertise erarbeite. Diese ist dann noch vor ihrer Veröffentlichung verschiedenen hedge-Fonds zugespielt worden. Ein Analyst hat bei Bloomberg dazu gesagt, er habe die Besitztümer von Sino-F. in China nahezu jährlich besucht und halte Sino-F. für ein "solides Unternehmen". - Es handelt sich also offenbar um eine short-Attacke, an der die Urheber verdienen wollen. Sino-F. ist immer wieder von Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaften durchleuchtet worden, ohne dass derartiges gefunden wurde, was angeblich Mr. Block bei MuddyWaters gefunden haben will. Sino-F. ist jetzt - am 20.6.11 - auch dem Artikel in der kanad. Zeitung entgegen getreten und hat auf der Web-Site die Ländereien in China aufgelistet und beschrieben, die zu Sino-F. gehören. Sino-F. arbeitet zwecks Aufklärung der Sache mit der kanad. Börsenaufsicht zusammen. Credit suisse empfiehlt Sino-F. weiterhin mit "outperform" und hohem Kursziel.
Vermutlich ist an allem nichts dran - hat aber gewirkt.
Sieht eher schlecht aus für die nächsten Tage, wenn die Nachrichten von bloomberg.com so stimmen:

Könnte aber auch dazu führen, dass jetzt noch mehr Leute ihre Aktien kurzfristig auf den Markt schmeißen. Paulson sollte ja etwas mehr Einblick in das Unternehmen haben als wir aber wer weiß das schon so genau. Wir werden es morgen sehen, mir ist das derzeit etwas zu heiß :-).
Scheint wohl zu stimmen, Paulson hat alle seine Sino-Aktien verkauft.

Andererseits, hier lese ich immer wieder, dass wenn er raus ist, dann bedeutet das was, er ist ja super informiert, bla bla, wenn es so wäre, dass hätte er 700 Mio nicht eingezahlt.
Gestern habe ich noch eine Mail von Muddy Waters bekommen (hab ja den Kramm aboniert). irgendwelche neuen Enthüllungen.... whatever
Was ich interessant finde, alle vier (glaub ich) Aktien die bisher von MW niedergeprügelt wurden, haben nicht mehr erholt, aber totalverlust gab es noch keine. Es geht seitwerts oder weiter graduell negativ. wenn auch die Vorwürfe dementiert wurden (siehe Orient Paper). D.h. nach dem ganzen S.... traut sich keiner mehr rein, oder das Geschäft wurde dadurch gehindert
möglicherweise doch ein Papiertiger ist und die Herren das auch wissen? ;-)
