Alles ist möglich, aber auch das Gegenteil. Obwohl ich das kurz- und mittelfristig positiv sehe, langfristig aber nur bei einem Verkauf von ICGCommerce und einer Rückkehr zum Incubator-Modell.  

oder war es vielleicht auch noch auf Wallstreet-Online, wo ich bis vor ca. fünf oder sechs Jahren gepostet habe, habe ich damals den Verkauf von Emptoris, an denen Internet Capital einmal mehr als 60% hielt, massiv kritisiert. Dass man dafür jetzt mit Sicherheit mehr bekommen hätte als die gesamte Marktkapitalsierung von Internet Capital ausmacht, steht wohl außer Frage.

Was ich jetzt nicht weiß ist, inwiefern der Softwareeinsatz bei ICGCommerce noch auf Software von Emptoris basiert, was früher ausschließlich der Fall war. Mit dem Kauf von Emptoris durch IBM kommt jetzt eine Dynamik ins Spiel, die sich sowohl negativ als auch positiv auswirken kann, wobei vermutlich die Zeitdimensionen eine Rolle spielen. Ich habe ja aus meiner Sicht die extreme Fixíerung auf ICGCommerce nicht für gut gefunden, obwohl das aus meiner Sicht auch die Möglichkeit für hohe Kurssteigerungen bietet - allerdings erhöht das auch, wie die Ereignisse zeigen, das Risiko.

Daher hatte ich ja, wie ich hier schon angeführt hatte, meinen Bestand von über 20.000 Stück auf 10.000 reduziert und inzwischen auf 7.000 - ohne dass ich die Aktie schlecht finde. Aber es ist jetzt überwiegend eine Aktie, die sehr stark von ICGCommerce abhängt - und nicht mehr so wie früher einer Art Inkubaber-Investmentfonds, der eine weite Streuung bietet. Und das heißt auch, dass ich trotz der nachwievor guten Chancen meine Engagement zurückgefahren habe und das frei gewordene Geld teilweise, wie Ihr sicher schon gemerkt habt, in die aus meiner Sicht noch extremer unterbewertete Aktie von Local.com gesteckt habe.

Ich schließe jetzt nicht aus, dass für andere Unternehmen - vor allem IBM - ICGCommerce noch interessanter geworden ist. Und obwohl ich ICGCommerce zutraue, bei der Bewertung einmal die Milliarden-Grenze zu überschreiten, wäre es mir momentan lieber, wenn ICGCommerce für 500 bis 700 Millionen an IBM oder an einen anderen Interessenten wie z.B. Infosys oder Wipra oder Capgemini verkauft werden könnte und ICG Group auf den Pfad einer Incubator zuückkehren würde.

Der Umsatz von ICGCommcere dürfte 2011 bei 125 Millionen liegen. Bei einem Multiple wie bei Ariba wäre ICG Commerce 750 Millionen wert.

Und die 81% von ICGGroup hätten einen Wert von 608 Millionen.

On December 30, 2011, StarCite, Inc. ("StarCite"), a company owned in part by ICG Group, Inc. ("ICG"), entered into a merger agreement pursuant to which it was sold to The Active Network, Inc. ("Active") for a combination of cash and Active common stock. ICG's estimated portion of the sale proceeds are valued at approximately $24.9 million, based on the $13.60 closing price of Active's stock on December 30, 2011. These proceeds consist of approximately $15.8 million in cash and 668,834 shares of Active stock valued at approximately $9.1 million (based on the $13.60 price). Approximately $100,000 of the cash consideration and 102,199 shares of the Active stock are being held in escrow, subject to customary working capital and indemnity provisions contained in the merger agreement, and 52,986 of the shares of Active stock will be received only if the closing price of the stock does not exceed certain thresholds following the closing. The Active shares issued as merger consideration will be registered for resale.

On January 5, 2012, ICG issued a press release announcing, among other things, the sale of StarCite to Active. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is hereby incorporated by reference.

Hier erfahren wir jetzt erstmals offiziell, dass sie über 30 Kunden haben, fast ausschließlich große meist multinationale Konzerne. Die meisten kennen wir, einige Konzerne wünschen aber offenbar, dass ihr Outsourcing nicht an die große Glocke gehängt wird.

So wissen wir z.B. auch nicht die Namen der Unternehmen, mit denen laut Meldung von ICGCommerce nur kurz vor Jahresende Abschlüsse getätigt wurden.

Revenues of ICGCommerce will be in 2011 about 124 million and increase in 2012 to about 124 million.

That are by 3.5-times-revenues on the base of 124 million revenues = 434 million. Internet Capital owning now 81% (I believe they will do all do increase the ownership) = 351 million.

I am sure, that ICG Group can reduce the number of outstanding shares through repurchases to about 33 million in 2012. If you now divide the 351 million from the 81% of ICG Commerce through 33 million shares = $10.63/share from the ownership on ICGCommerce alone.
