Dass bei Internet Capital da noch erheblicher Nachholbedarf besteht, wird deutlich, wenn man bedenkt, dass Internet Capital mit 36% am weltweit größten Marktplatz für Meetings, Starcite, beteiligt ist.

Obwohl ich bei den Beteiligungen eher von Verkäufen ausgehe, da man dabei noch höhere Preise als bei einem Ipo erzielen kann. Bei Metastorm ist ja schon Oracle als Käufer im Gespräch und nach ICGCommerce lecken sich viele Unternehmen die Finger, da es als der weltweite größte Pure Play im Bereich der Procurment Outsourcing der ideale Einstieg oder die Verstärkung für ein größeres Unternehmen in dieses schnell wachsenden Bereich ist. Als Käufer kommen hier vor allem Hewlett Packard, die GE-Abspaltung Genpact, Infosys und Wipro infrage.
