Local Corp nachwievor Eigentümer, obwohl ich da nach dem Anstieg des Eigenkapitals im August, so erfreulich der ist, meine Befürchtungen hatte - denn bei der Höhe des Anstiegs wäre meines Erachtens dieses Patent unter Wert verschleudert worden.

The company believes that the patent may cover numerous pay-per-call EDA inquiry methods, such as text and the latest voice command search integrations offered on many of today’s smartphones, as well as traditional voice-based EDA inquiries.

"Borrell Associates estimates that approximately 5 billion Enhanced Directory Assistance (EDA) inquiries from mobile devices will be made in 2012, along with 1 billion more from landlines. EDA is gradually transitioning into an advertiser-pays model, with pay-per-call representing the advertising vehicle," said Heath Clarke, Local Corporation chairman and chief executive officer. “We believe this patent may represent a core intellectual property component of the emerging pay-per-call mobile ad industry because it contemplates the provision of pay-per-call ad listings in response to EDA searches. We’re pleased that this patent validates the considerable time we have spent developing our intellectual property in the area of performance advertising, including EDA.”

The patent also provides a method and/or system for dynamically ordering pay-per-call directory listing results and tracking subsequent telephone referrals. EDA pay-per-call ad revenue is intended to provide additional revenue for carriers. The patent is a continuation of a patent previously issued to the company.

Have you ever seen a company with increasing Total Equity during a Chapter 11-procedure?  

But now the biggest surprise for you: The value of the high valuable 14 patents of Local Corp is not part of the assets in the balance, because they were near all developed with the money of the existing shareholders of Local Corp . By such self-developed patents can the company decide, if this patents were counted as assets or not - and Local Corp don't count the self developed patents with high value as assets. Local Corp had never done a capitalization of development costs for the14 valuable patents.

If Local Corp had done such a capitalisation, the difference between assets and debts would be a lot higher than in the balance announced. If the patents were capitaliized, too, the difference between assets and debts would be a lot higher

Thank you. Hi, guys. Just to go back to the network business a little bit. It is shrinking quite a bit year-over-year. You made some comments that seem it could level off from here for the rest of the year. One thing that I think maybe investors would like to understand a little better, I guess, is the shortfall on the network revenue side, the anticipation was that maybe mobile would make up some of those declines on the network side. Is mobile contributing in any way meaningfully at this point? Or do we expect mobile to pick up maybe in the later half of the year?

Thanks, Amit. We have rolled out our mobile search product nQuery with multiple carriers and we have installed search solutions in 18 countries. But it's still early and the levels of traffic have not ramped as expected. We are a little bit on the timeline of the carriers. It's installed, it's working, more ad test levels and we do expect and we did expected the volume to ramp in the first quarter. We are now anticipating that to ramp to more significant levels of revenue in the second half of the year.
