Will Shepard nun den Split oder nicht? Welche Quelle?

RIDGEFIELD, Conn., May 09, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Today Global Matrechs, Inc. (OTCBB: GMTH) http://www.globalmatrechs.com announced an update on NuCap(TM), its highly radiation- and corrosion-resistant technology, following the recent 20th anniversary of the accident at Chernobyl. NuCap(TM), formerly known as EKOR(TM), was originally applied at the Chernobyl reactor in 2000, at the site of the worst nuclear accident to date. The radiation-resistant material was successfully applied on a fuel-containing mass located at the bubble pool under the reactor and is still stable and on-site.
The original formula for EKOR was created specifically for the purpose of addressing the Chernobyl Shelter. The technology has been advanced and improved upon since its introduction to the U.S. under Global Matrechs, Inc.'s direction, to meet U.S. standards and testing.
The company had announced previously that it was in negotiations with an American company with offices in Berlin and Moscow for exclusive marketing and distribution rights for NuCap(TM) to Eastern European governments, with a particular focus on the Ukraine and, in particular, the Chernobyl site. According to the company, these negotiations are continuing.
Michael Sheppard, C.E.O. of Global Matrechs, reported that "We are moving forward with our plan and expect to complete our Master Manufacturing Agreement with Dow Corning and a Sales Agreement with a company that will represent us in Eastern Europe. Once completed, we believe we will be in a position to service the needs of this sector in the area of nuclear waste encapsulation. The advent of this is very exciting to the company, and we believe it will mark the achievement of a significant milestone for NuCap(TM) on its road to becoming a commercially successful product offering."
With quality assurance programs for U.S. nuclear storage, including the program at the Yucca Mountain facility, currently under review, Global Matrechs, Inc. is increasing its efforts to obtain approval for the use of NuCap(TM) in the U.S. The Company had previously announced its receipt of a commercial order for NuCap(TM) for the Hanford Nuclear Site located in Richland, WA. The Company believes NuCap(TM) would be used to cover the walls of a "pit" in which there has been a radiation spill.
NuCap(TM) has been engineered for use in a wide variety of applications in settings presenting low- to high-level radiation and other environmental challenges. NuCap(TM)'s applications range from in-situ, stabilization, D & D, containment and encapsulation to transportation and final storage and disposal. The company believes NuCap(TM) may also have applications that could assist in resolving the special challenges faced by operating reactors in nuclear power plants and research facilities, uranium/thorium and other mining venues, nuclear medicine and the chemical industry.

Investors, continue to follow Material Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: MTNA), a company engaged in the research and development of metal fatigue detection, measurement and monitoring technologies. Tuesday, after the bell, the company announced that at the request of the State of Pennsylvania's Department of Transportation its team of engineers had completed informal reviews of three bridges in that state. Material Technologies said Pennsylvania has expressed interest in evaluating the company's patented metal fatigue detection solutions to help ensure the structural integrity of the state's steel bridges. The bridge visits were conducted in connection with a proposed agreement to inspect several bridges using Material Technologies' Electrochemical Fatigue Sensor(TM), the company said.
Material Technologies said its EFS system is capable of locating very small and actively growing cracks in metal structures, as small as 0.010 inches, and is the only practical nondestructive evaluation system currently available to engineers that can provide this insight.
Interest in Material Technologies EFS system has been spurred by the recent $286 billion Federal Transportation Bill, which allocated $5 million to help states evaluate nondestructive methods such as EFS to test growing fatigue cracks in steel bridges.

MOSCOW, May 25, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- NUCON-RF, Inc. ("NUCON-RF") (Pink Sheets:NNRF) announced that ATOMSTROYEXPORT ("ASE") and NUCON-RF have entered into an Agreement in which NUCON-RF will become the project partner and supplier to ASE of technologies and services in the Chernobyl Shelter Implementation Plan funded by the G-7 donor countries through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development ("EBRD") in Ukraine. The principal aim of the plan is to convert Chernobyl's Reactor 4, destroyed by the 1986 nuclear accident, into an environmentally-safe site. http://new.chnpp.gov.ua/eng/articles.php?lng=en&pg=47
ASE was established in 1998, by the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Atomic Energy, in order to promote the export of Russian-made products for nuclear power projects abroad. ASE was created by merger of AO "Atomenergoexport" and VPO "Zarubezhatomenergostroy". These Russian government agencies had accumulated more than 25-years of experience with foreign countries in the construction, operation and modernization of nuclear power plants. http://www.atomstroyexport.ru/index-e.htm
A consortium led by Moscow based ASE has been awarded a contract for the stabilization of the existing shelter at Chernobyl that is contaminated with radioactive dust and debris. The contract -- reference number SIP-07-1-001-02 -- was signed between SSE Chernobyl and ASE on 15 July 2005. ASE has contracted with NUCON-RF to become their project partner under this contract to provide material(s), technologies and services that can reliably suppress and encapsulate radioactive dust. The project contract will address the immediate tasks of safety of the works.
NUCON-RF intends to apply an application of the technology known as NuCap(tm) licensed from a US company, Global Matrechs http://www.globalmatrechs.com NuCap(tm) is a highly radiation resistant silicon-geopolymer material engineered for encapsulation of radioactive wastes. There is an estimated 45 tons of radioactive dust at Chernobyl No. 4. NuCap(tm) has been tested at Chernobyl since 1999 and these tests have conclusively proven that NuCap(tm) is durable under the most extreme environmental conditions and is proven to be resistant to both radioactive environmental and corrosion conditions. It also has been proven to provide excellent encapsulation qualities. These will be necessary for final disposal in addition to the present task of radioactive dust suppression. Dow Corning will manufacture the required NuCap(tm) material for NUCON under contract with Global Matrechs. NUCON-RF has agreed to purchase an annual quantity of 250 metric tons from Dow Corning. NUCON-RF believes it will be able to quantify the quarterly revenues from this dust suppression project during the second quarter 2006. The Shelter Implementation Program is estimated to continue through 2009. Other NuCap(tm) applications are currently under application engineering reviews.
NUCON is a technical solutions company focused on high-end environmental markets in the Former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and Asia. NUCON is a US Corporation and the executive and operations offices are located in Moscow, Russia. http://www.nucon-rf.com
NUCON-RF has the capability to provide product, technological and engineering support addressing a myriad of environmental, wastewater, power quality and radioactive waste challenges including, compliance, shielding, transport and storage requirements, plant equipment protection, energy efficiency and development of techniques for a broad range of radioactive and toxic wastes.
