sich gute news in steigenden kurse widerspiegeln...

denke die nachfolgende mitteilung (3 wochen alt) sollte der grund für den anstieg sein!

On Monday of this week Family Room inexplicably traded nearly 8.7 million shares, by far the highest single volume day in history. As you can see from the chart, in conjunction with the volume the stock finally started behaving better.

In a news release which was issued before the market opened today, Family Room provided a clue which helps explain the sudden volume surge. Family Room announced all outstanding convertible securities had been converted into equity, thereby eradicating all the company's convertible debt. While today's news might seem benign on the surface, it might just be a key event in breaking the stock out of its multi month trading range.

In 2003 Family Room raised $1 million in the form of convertible debt. The structure of the debt has been toxic to the performance of the stock. Note holders have been able to convert their debt into stock at a profit regardless of how low the market went. The inordinate supply of stock has been one of the main reasons shares of Family Room have been unable to mount any sustained move to the upside.

Today's announcement and Monday's volume could have cleaned the technical slate. It would appear the remaining debt on the company's balance sheet was converted to stock and that stock has already been absorbed by the market. Therefore, the endless supply of stock which was hampering price improvement could be drying up.

I have been caught standing with egg on my face many times on Family Room. The stock has defied my predictions of attaining the $.25 level. When I get frustrated, I simply focus on the fundamentals. Family Room is likely to have its best year in company history in 2004. Family Room could go into production on as many as nine new projects this year. The company will collect residuals fees from the AmityVille Horror remake and several other of their older properties. Revenues could easily triple last year's results.

For those of you who have lost faith, you would do well to remember Irvine Sensor (NASDAQ: IRSN) in 2003. The stock traded between $1.30 and $1.80 for 11 months before surging to $4.50 in one month. Family Room could end up being a mini version of IRSN in 2004.

Family Room Entertainment (OTC BB: FMLY)

Shares I&O: About 72 million
Market Capitalization: $5.76 million
Recent Financing: Done at $.07

Family Room is one of the only stocks on the list which has not given us a reasonable profit opportunity in the last year. The company did a toxic financing in 2003, and the excess supply of stock hurt the market in 2004.
I continue to love this as a long term speculation with significant upside. When you look at the company 2 years ago vs today, there is no comparison. They made a bunch of "C" movies which went straight to cable.

Now, their movie production schedule is a whole different story. They produced "Edison" earlier this year, featuring Justin Timberlake, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, and LL Cool J. The film will be in movie theaters next year. It is sure to get a lot of buzz, as it will be Timberlake's movie debut.

In September they will begin filming a movie with Al Pacino. This is important because it is the highest profile star they have ever produced for, and they will get a percentage of the box office for the first time in their history.

The company has announced it will be cash flow positive for the first time in fiscal 2005, which starts July 1. They have four revenue sources over the next several months: 2 Steven Seagal pictures, the Al Pacino picture, and a property fee from the Amityville Horror movie.

One hit, and this stock will run. Two big movies will hit theaters next year, and they will be producing more for the following year. The stock is not too exciting, but also not too risky. For long term investors who are willing to wait for a huge home run. From the current market cap there is a lot of upside potential.

Family Room Entertainment Gets Submerged with Steven Seagal

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 2004--Emmett/Furla Films, a wholly owned subsidiary of Family Room Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:FMLY), is pleased to announce that pre-production will commence on July 1st on the motion picture project "SUBMERGED" starring STEVEN SEAGAL. Anthony Hickox will direct the Picture.

Co-chairs Randall Emmett and George Furla stated: "We are happy to be working with Steven Seagal again. In each of the films we have done together, he has delivered solid, exciting performance. And we believe that 'Submerged' will make an action-packed film that will hopefully appeal to a broad audience. This project is the perfect fit for Family Room Entertainment."

Following "Submerged," Emmett/Furla Films will produce a second picture with Steven Seagal entitled, "Mercenary."

Family Room Entertainment Corporation, with its subsidiaries, Emmett Furla Films Productions, Emmett Furla Films Distribution and EFF Independent, is a publicly held company trading on the NASDAQ Bulletin Board under the symbol "FMLY". Family Room Entertainment develops, produces and performs production related services for the entertainment industry. Family Room Entertainment's aim is to create and produce high quality motion pictures with high profile talent that can be distributed to a worldwide audience. FMLY derives its income from producer fees, consulting and service fees as well as its participation in the profits of the various pictures it produces.

The FMLY co-founders, Randall Emmett and George Furla, believe that they have the expertise and contacts within the entertainment industry, specifically in the competitive production and distribution arenas, to profitably acquire content, package product by adding value to the content with top quality talent and produce motion pictures which are in the moderate to higher level budgets, which can be distributed to a mass worldwide audience. However, there is no assurance that any motion picture, which has not yet been released, will be released, that a change in the scheduled release dates of any such films will not occur or, if such motion picture is released, it will be successful.

Family Room Begins Editing on ``Edison''

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2004--Emmett/Furla Films, a wholly owned subsidiary of Family Room Entertainment Corporation (OTCBB:FMLY), is pleased to announce that the feature film "EDISON" is in the editing phase of post production. Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, Justin Timberlake and LL Cool J star in the picture.

Additional cast members are: Piper Perabo, who will play Timberlake's love interest, and Dylan McDermott, who will take a villainous turn as the corrupt cop "Lazerov," and Cary Elwes who will play the district attorney in the fictional city of "Edison."

"EDISON" is the story of an elite unit of cops caught in a maelstrom of corruption by a young journalist (Timberlake) who quickly finds himself in over his head. To find the truth and to save the lives of those around him, he must make an uneasy alliance with a burnt-out reporter (Freeman) and the DA's ace investigator (Spacey).

David Burke, a prolific writer/producer/director for television, will be making his feature film debut. Burke began his career as a writer on Michael Mann's "CRIME STORY" for CBS. He received an Emmy and a Golden Globe nomination for his work on CBS' "WISEGUY," for which he was Executive Producer as well as a writer and director. Most recently, Burke executive produced NBC's "LAW & ORDER: SVU."

Today, just after the market closed, Family Room announced it will eradicate all debt from its balance sheet in August (about $400,000). There are two pending revenue events for the company: Production kicks off on Submerged starring Steven Seagal, and they receive a one time, no cost fee from Dimension Films when they begin filming the remake of Amityville Horror.

As the company has stated in past press releases, they expect to operate cash flow positive in fiscal 2005, which began this past July 1st. In fact, in discussions with management, I have learned they anticipate Family Room will produce 10 movies in fiscal 2005. Three have already been signed which go into production before the end of the calendar year. Two are scheduled for early next year. Therefore, they are already half way to their goal.

Proceeds from the August revenues will be used to eradicate all long term debt. This move doesn't really do anything for the upside potential. However, it definitely mitigates the downside risk.

If there is no debt, there is no interest expense. If they operate cash flow positive from operations and have no debt, they can be around for a very long time without raising any additional capital. The fallout from the equity capital they raised in 2003 is what has killed the stock performance in 2004.

The movie Edison, starring Justin Timberlake, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, and LL Cool J, is now in post production. The early viewings are generating some real excitement, and Family Room is fairly confident the film will be picked up by a major studio for distribution.

Family Room Entertainment (OTC BB: FMLY); 2005 Should Be a Breakout Year

Family Room has not joined the post summer rebound party yet, but it's still early in the game. The best moves generally come after the third week in October. The stock, which started 2004 at $.105, jumped up a little in the first quarter, but has been in the doldrums ever since. It currently trades between $.07 and $.08 as if it were asleep.

As of the end of June there were 87 million shares issued and outstanding, equating to a $6.5 million market valuation. Family Room engaged in several toxic equity financings in 2003, and the dilutive effect of excess supply is being felt in the stock to this day.

FMLY, through wholly owned subsidiary Emmett/Furla Productions, is an independent film producer. The company has produced dozens of movies, most of which went straight to cable. Their revenues have come from producer fees which only amount to several hundred thousand dollars per movie. The upside is in the producer profits the company could make off a hit movie.

Emmett/Furla is beginning to prosper in a meaningful way. In the spring they finished production on Edison, starring Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman, Justin Timberlake, and LL Cool J. The film is in post production right now. FMLY is getting ready to show the film to potential distributors. The film should show up in movie theaters in the late Spring or early Summer of next year. If the film eclipses $40 million at the box office, FMLY stands to make substantial money from producer profits.

88 minutes, starring Al Pacino, is scheduled to begin production in January. This film is a major breakthrough for the company. For the first time in the history, Family Room will have box office bonuses. In the past, Family Room has only had a percentage of the producer profits, which can be an elusive result. On this film, Family Room will have bonus payments as the film hits certain box office performance levels. No profit calculation is required. Therefore, the upside for shareholders on this one is much enhanced.

Friday, after the market closed, Family Room announced it will begin production on another Steven Seagal movie. They just wrapped up production on one Seagal movie, and are already beginning work on another.

They are currently producing a previously undisclosed movie starring Snoop Dog- details to be disclosed at a future time. Family Room has not publicized the film, but it has been reported on in Variety.

Family Room expects to go into production on approximately seven new movies in the first half of 2005. These projects have not been formally announced. Several have scripts, budgets, and directors. Commitments are being solicited from the prospective cast members, and the names being discussed take the company to a whole new level.

The American Film Markets Convention takes place the first week of November. At the convention, Family Room will be disclosing the number and scope of the films it plans to produce in the first half of 2005. We will then learn the details of 2005's calendar.

The chart you see tracks the performance of FMLY in 2004. The formation is known as a "Regression Channel". This stock needs to reverse course and break out of this long term bearish regression channel. A solid break above the blue line would be very bullish.

I believe three factors are working in our favor. First, the toxic supply of stock which has been plaguing this particular issue has been mostly absorbed by the market. Volume like we had in the first quarter should send the stock back up. The caveat- there have been technical disappointments in the past and my track record is poor on this stock.

Second, the size, scope, and talent associated with the slate of new films scheduled for next year should bring some interest to the stock.

Third, FMLY has publicly stated it will turn cash flow positive off operations from producer fees alone in fiscal 2005 (it started July 1). This means the company doesn't need to engage in any more toxic financings.

In short, I believe long suffering shareholders are on the brink of seeing a recovery.  For you penny stock lovers, look for FMLY to follow the likes of NWKI, VTSI, and HYPD over the next month.

marktkapitaölisierung liegt bei 6 Mio us$.
