Wäre bestimmt nicht schlecht sich darüber mal auszutauschen...

 

Das Management will die Gesellschaft nun wieder auf Wachstum trimmen und die Rentabilität verbessern. Zu diesen Plänen gehört auch die Abspaltung der Sparte Stromnetzwerke. Diese steht für rund 20 Prozent des Umsatzes und soll eigenständig schneller wachsen können. Auch für das Geschäft mit Speichern und Stromerzeugung prüft der Konzern verschiedene Optionen. Es ist also einiges in Bewegung bei Emerson. Anleger bekommen durch die Abspaltung wahrscheinlich neue Aktien eingebucht, endgültig sicher ist das aber noch nicht. Man sollte angesichts der Umbaumaßnahmen aber nicht grundsätzliche Fakten aus dem Blick verlieren: Insgesamt ist der Mischkonzern nach wie vor sehr gut aufgestellt. Wir gehen davon aus, dass schon bald wieder bessere Meldungen zu hören sind. Der Kursrückgang ist für uns daher überhaupt kein Grund nervös zu werden.

Emerson Electric Co. Q3 Profit Decreases, But Beats Estimates

WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) announced earnings for third quarter that decreased from last year but beat the Street estimates.

The company's earnings came in at $344 million, or $0.60 per share. This compares with $643 million, or $1.12 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Emerson Electric Co. reported adjusted earnings of $821 million or $1.43 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $1.42 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 11.0% to $4.380 billion from $3.946 billion last year.

Emerson Electric Co. Q4 Profit Increases, Beats Estimates

WASHINGTON (dpa-AFX) - Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) announced a profit for its fourth quarter that increased from the same period last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's earnings came in at $996 million, or $1.73 per share. This compares with $744 million, or $1.29 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Excluding items, Emerson Electric Co. reported adjusted earnings of $848 million or $1.48 per share for the period.

Analysts on average had expected the company to earn $1.47 per share, according to figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company's revenue for the quarter rose 12.9% to $4.619 billion from $4.090 billion last year.
