Letzte NEWS war hervorragend.
HOUSTON, Sept. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Marmion Industries Corp (OTC Bulletin Board: MMIO) today announced the successful completion of a $956,990 HVAC project at Thompson Elementary School in Houston, TX.
Acquired via collaboration with Drymalla Construction, Ltd. of Columbus, Texas, the original $895,180 agreement expanded into a nearly one million dollar project with change orders and extras. Marmion Industries performed all HVAC work in connection with the construction of the new school. The installation has been deemed a great success and other than that, it marks the company's continued expansion into the highly lucrative commercial segment of the HVAC industry.
Commenting on today's news, CEO W.H. Marmion stated, 'We are very proud to be one of the first mechanical contractors to implement the new Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design 'LEED' Certification of Quality Program. Marmion Air is one of just two local contractors chosen for the LEED Program which is a much higher industry required standard.'
About LEED:
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System(TM) is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. LEED gives building owners and operators the tools they need to have an immediate and measurable impact on their buildings' performance. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. LEED certification provides independent, third-party verification that a building project meets the highest performance standards. The LEED plaque is recognized nationwide as proof that a building is environmentally responsible, profitable, and a healthy place to live and work.

Marmion Awarded 2.1 Million Dollar Contract
HOUSTON, Sept. 11. /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Marmion Industries Corp
(OTC Bulletin Board: MMIO), (the "Company") -- an emerging manufacturer and
modifier of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment --
today announced that it has secured a contract valued at approximately
$2,100,000 for HVAC-related equipment and installation services at Sweeney
High School (Sweeney -- TX).
Production for the project, which is targeted for completion by December
of 2008, commenced on August 21, 2007. Commenting on today's news, CEO W.H.
Marmion stated "We are very excited with this the second, in what we believe
will be a long and profitable relationship with one of the more successful and
well established general contractors in Texas, Drymalla Construction of
Columbus, Texas. This Sweeney contract is more than double the size of the
previous contract we successfully completed for Drymalla, which was Thompson
Elementary that included the LEEDS certification standard. This I believe is a
strong statement that we can secure the larger contracts and more importantly
deliver the goods on time. We continue to work our plan of selectively taking
on the more promising contracts, giving us a continued edge as we grow our
business in this industry."
By diversifying its business across both the industrial and commercial
sectors of the global HVAC market and adhering to the upper echelon of
industry standards, Marmion Industries is now able to position its suite of
products and services in front of a larger potential customer base than ever
before.
This is exhibited by both the company's recent implementation of the
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design 'LEED' Certification of Quality
Program, which has facilitated its ability to secure approximately $3,000,000
worth of commercial contracts within a relatively short time frame.
Furthermore, receiving third party approval through Intertek Testing Services
for its hazardous location wall mounted air conditioners has helped drive
Marmion's growing industrial sales, which increased approximately 80% during
the second quarter of 2007, on a year-over-year basis.
In a testament to the vast pool of opportunity located within the
company's core markets, The Freedonia Group is projecting World demand for
HVAC equipment to rise over 5 percent per year through 2010, exceeding $65
billion.
