das einzige was ich gehört habe ist, das diese Anstiege aus SHorteindeckungen resultieren..da die Shorties Ende Mai alles offen legen...deswegen denke ich das wir heute noch weiter steigen..das was jetzt grad läuft ist nur wieder die " ich schüttel die Leut raus, die kaufen dann später wieder teuer ein" Taktik des DAX...der geht gleich wieder hoch...

New Orders
NEW ORDERS for manufactured durable goods in February decreased $2.1 billion or 1.2 percent to $170.2 billion, the Department of Commerce, U.S. Census Bureau reported today. This followed a 1.9 percent January increase. Excluding transportation, new orders decreased 2.1 percent. Excluding defense, new orders decreased 2.7 percent.

Shipments
SHIPMENTS of manufactured durable goods in February decreased $2.8 billion or 1.6 percent to $171.5 billion. This followed a 2.7 percent January increase.

Unfilled Orders
UNFILLED ORDERS for manufactured durable goods in February, down six consecutive months, decreased $1.3 billion or 0.3 percent to $474.2 billion and were at the lowest level since August 1996. This followed a 0.4 percent January decrease.

Inventories
INVENTORIES of manufactured durable goods in February decreased $0.3 billion or 0.1 percent to $264.4 billion. This was the twenty-fourth decrease over the past twenty-five months. This followed a 0.2 percent January decrease.

Capital Goods Industries
Defense
New orders in February increased $1.9 billion or 28.0 percent to $8.6 billion.

Nondefense
New orders in February decreased $2.9 billion or 5.2 percent to $53.5 billion.

Released March 26, 2003. This report presents advance information on two key business indicators: durable goods manufacturers' shipments and orders. Revised and more detailed estimates plus nondurable goods will be published April 2, 2003. The advance report on durable goods for March is scheduled for April 24, 2003.
