bei $4,60 ist erst mal ein widerstand, aber wenn der geknackt wird ist luft bis $5,50 und anschließend gehts dann anscheinend nur noch in $0,5 schritten bis zum jahreshoch was bei $7,04 liegt. also hoffen wir erst mal, dass die $4,60 geknackt werden.
die nachrichtenlage scheint ja ganz gut zu sein und ich habe mir heute die zeitschrift"DER AKTIONAER" gekauft und die empfehlen die aktie zum kauf mit kursziel 5,20€.
ich finde das ganze geschäftsprofil viel interessanter als die ganzen anderen elektroautobauer wie tesla usw. in china gibt es für e-fahrzeuge auch ein riesiges potential. da gibts jetzt schon millionen von elektrorollern. kein wunder bei dem SMOG;-)

Think has started production in Indiana.

Think, the electric-car maker, says it has started production in Elkhart, Ind. It will complete partially finished cars shipped from contract maker Valmet in Finland.
"This is another major milestone for us," said Think CEO Barry Engle. "We are now manufacturing and selling both in Europe and the U.S. and have produced more than 2,500 Think City vehicles."
Think's workforce, which so far numbers 25, finishes the cars by installing electric drive trains with advanced lithium-ion batteries made by Ener1, in Indianapolis.
The company hopes to make 2,500 vehicles for the American market in 2011 and increase its workforce to 100.

Norwegian electric carmaker TH!NK has delivered its first U.S.-built cars to the State of Indiana for its government fleet.
The 15 vehicles were shipped from Think’s manufacturing facility in Elkhart, Ind., and are the first electric passenger vehicles with American-made, Lithium-ion batteries.
“We’re proud to be the first manufacturer to deliver an all-electric car built in the U.S. with an advanced battery that suits the needs of government and commercial fleet operators,” said Think CEO Barry Engle. “Our delivery today is part of a larger effort to help transform the U.S. light-duty vehicle fleet from one that is mostly dependent on imported oil, to one that is fuelled entirely by domestically produced electric energy.
“As part of that goal, we’ve made a strategic decision to target initially the many millions of fleet vehicles in operation in the U.S. market,” added Engle. “Fleet sales will drive up vehicle and battery production volumes and drive down costs, which will benefit retail consumers.”
With defined travel routes and centralized recharging and service points, fleets are a natural platform to launch electric vehicles into the marketplace. The cars will be used principally by the Department of Natural Resources in Indiana’s park system.
The Think City uses advanced Lithium-ion batteries manufactured in Indiana by Ener1 and can reportedly travel up to 160 km on a single charge. It was first safety certified in Europe in 1999.
Mass deployment of electric vehicles in the state of Indiana is being facilitated by Project Plug-IN, an initiative organized by the Energy Systems Network (ESN), which plans to place 100 or more electric vehicles and supporting charging infrastructure with government and corporate fleets, as well as select commuters, across the Indianapolis metropolitan area.
Think plans to roll out retail distribution in select U.S. cities in the second half of 2011, to coincide with planned expansion of the Elkhart facility, where the company currently employs more than 25 workers. By the end of 2011, Think plans to have more than 100 workers in the facility and more than 415 by the end of 2013

Despite their diminutive size, there is a place for small electric vehicles like this on the tight, crowded and highly-regulated streets of Europe.
Well clearly, no one is going to buy the little Norwegian electric car, pictured here, for its looks, but now European customers can buy the Think City as a four-seater.
By the looks of it though, we'd imagine passengers getting a lot more intimate than they'd like to in this thing and it's likely that they’ll have to carry the luggage on their laps - but at least air conditioning is now standard too.
The Think City is powered by industry-leading lithium-ion battery technology from Ener1 in the US.
It can travel at highway speeds of up to 110km/h and cover 160km on a single charge with zero local emissions.

Ener1: Es geht erst los
Mit einem Wachstum von 57.900 Prozent in vier Jahren schießt Ener1 den Vogel ab. Und die starken Zahlen des Batteriespezialisten der Jahre 2005 bis 2009 waren kein Strohfeuer. Auch im jüngsten Quartal legten die Umsätze im Jahresvergleich um 113 Prozent auf 17,3 Millionen Dollar zu.
Hintergrund dieser Dynamik ist das starke Know-how im Bereich Lithium-Ionen-Batterien. Diese besonders leistungsfähigen Akkus werden etwa bereits im skandinavischen Elektroauto Th!nk eingesetzt. Da die NewYorker zudem seit Jahren Entwicklungs-Partnerschaften mit Giganten wie Ford oder GM unterhalten und diese immer mehr auf den umweltfreundlichen Antrieb ihrer Autos umstellen, dürften die Bestellungen auch künftig nicht abreißen. Mitte dieses Jahres hat Ener1 daher die erste US-Massenproduktion von Lithium-Ionen-Batterien gestartet.
Auch der Einsatz der Akkus zur Energiespeicherung bereitet Fantasie. So wurde im November ein 40-Millionen-Dollar-Auftrag mit dem russischen Versorger Federal Grid unterzeichnet.

When Ener1 (HEV) chairman and CEO Charles Gassenheimer appeared on CNBC in November to discuss how his company will benefit from Democrat and Republican cooperation on energy policy, the stock got a nice 4% pop on the day.
Last week, HEV announced a major joint venture deal with China’s number one automotive components company Wanxiang, earning $10B in annual revenue. HEV will build cells and lithium ion battery packs for electric vehicles and hybrid electric and electric buses. The stock opened up about 7%.
But the real fireworks began once Gassenheimer made his (now obligatory?) appearance on the CNBC set to discuss the deal. By the time Mark Haines made the intro, he announced the stock was up 13% on the news. In a flash (20 minutes or so), the stock went from $3.90 to $5.90 for a 60% gain from the previous day’s close. I sold my HEV holdings at $4.77 into this rush, only to regret selling. By the close of trading I was relieved, as HEV settled all the way back down to $4.20.
A week later, HEV has continued to drift downward. At one point Tuesday, the stock had completed a roundtrip to last week’s post-deal open. I decided to get back on board HEV at these prices. Since HEV did not make new 52-week highs with last week’s move, I am willing to discount the possibility that the tremendous surge upward, followed by the equally vicious fade, represents a blow-off top. Note well that the surge last week was so large, plenty of headroom exists for future rallies anyway. Moreover, the strong fundamental nature of this news makes me optimistic that positive momentum will resume in due time.
I think this deal is extremely important for HEV, involving a long-term partnership and commitment to success:
The Chinese government, anticipating the environmental and oil demand impact of potentially hundreds of millions of new vehicle purchases by a burgeoning middle class, has set an annual production goal of 500,000 hybrid or all-electric cars and buses by 2012.
The new venture – Zhejiang Wanxiang Ener1 Power System Co., Ltd – will use Wanxiang Electric Vehicle’s existing 553,000-square-foot facility in Hangzhou. The joint enterprise is expected to achieve annual cell manufacturing capacity of 300 million Ampere hours (approximately 40,000 electric vehicle battery packs) annually by 2014…
…Wanxiang Electric Vehicle will have a 60-percent equity stake in the joint venture. The company will contribute property, plant, equipment, and customer relationships, including State Grid, SAIC Motor, Dongfeng Motor, Guangzhou Auto and Yutong. As part of its 40-percent stake, Ener1 will provide intellectual property, engineering, manufacturing and technical expertise.
HEV did not release financial details or new guidance as a part of this announcement, but I believe the company has gained access to a tremendous source of additional revenues that make the company worth much more than its current price.
