I hope that Walmart has chosen us. The technology
in the article is not anything new. RFID tags and hand held readers have been around for a while and is already in use by Walmart in their supply chain operations. Earthsearch's claim to fame is the integration, at the hardware
level of GPS and RFID. RFID tags are available from any number of sources, as are the hand held readers. There is nothing in Earthsearch's current public product profile that indicates that this is an Earthsearch product. I believe that the Halo teen driving solution is what is being referenced in the last 8-K. Halo has been around for a while, and is the only current product that is necessarily a retail product.
Quote:Hmmmm..... i wonder if thats us in that article? Being that Earthsearch is the only company with this type of technology and they have already stated the below statement, I think its a good chance its us. A saw that they mentioned past companies that helped bring about ID tags, but I didn't see them mention who was supplying this new technology did you?
Below is a statement from the 8-k
"Our business development division recently submitted registration information to Wal- Mart, K- Mart, Best Buy and a few other regional retailers to carry our product in their stores. We strongly believe we will succeed in this endeavors in 2010
We recently executed a vendor agreement with Wal- Mart and expect to accomplish similar goals with other retailers"
Anscheinend werden morgen neue News seitens der Company veröffentlicht, bleibt abzuwarten, was das sein wird

Regulation SHO requires bona-fide market-making activities to include making purchases and sales in roughly comparable amounts. The Commission has stated that bona-fide market-making DOES NOT include activity that is related to speculative selling strategies or investment purposes of the broker-dealer and is disproportionate to the usual market making patterns or practices of the broker-dealer in that security. Likewise, where a market-maker posts continually at or near the best offer, but does not also post at or near the best bid, the market-maker's activities would not generally qualify as bona-fide market-making. ECDC's EarthSearch Launches HALO(TM) GPS Device for Teen Driver Safety on Walmart.com
East Coast Diversified Corporation (OTCBB:ECDC)
Intraday Stock Chart
Today : Tuesday 17 August 2010
Click Here for more East Coast Diversified Corporation Charts.
East Coast Diversified Corporation's (OTCBB: ECDC) RFID and GPS division, EarthSearch Communications (EarthSearch), announced today that it has shipped its HALO™ GPS device for distribution by online retailers in a serious move to answer the call for safety and security of teen drivers. Starting today, customers can find HALO on the digital shelves of www.walmart.com and other online retailers.
HALO uses telemetry technology to help guide teen drivers by creating awareness while navigating the critical first years of learning to drive. Teen drivers are provided in-vehicle audio warnings when they are driving without seat belts, driving erratically (i.e. drag racing or speeding). The system will then advise the teen driver that the parent has been notified of his or her driving behavior. EarthSearch's web portal supplements HALO, providing parents and guardians with access to real-time historical data on the driving actions and habits of a teen driver and is accessible via most web browsers and internet-capable mobile devices.
This is a solution that all families with teenage drivers should take into consideration. In April 2010, ABC News reported that, "40 percent of teens get into an accident within a year of getting their licenses," a staggering number that should disturb all parents.
What's even more shocking is that the report notes that, "Those crashes cause one in three teen deaths." EarthSearch is hopeful that those statistics can be reduced and lives saved with the implementation of the HALO safety device.
"Who's not concerned about what happens to their teenager on the road?" said Kayode Aladesuyi, Chairman and CEO of EarthSearch. Seeking to protect his own family, Aladesuyi installed this technology in his two teenage sons' vehicles.
"We've designed HALO to be a safety device," said Aladesuyi. "Our objective is to provide the same guidance as a parent, giving advice that encourages teenagers to drive safely and to buckle up every time they get behind the wheel. HALO also provides a measure of security with the built-in panic button that sends a silent alarm should something go wrong while the teen is alone in the vehicle."
Other standard features include engine disabling, electronic fence monitoring and location services. HALO's features are designed to enhance the safety of teen drivers while providing peace-of-mind to parents and guardians. Customers can log in at myhalo.us to activate service for the device.

My parents went out for the evening so my sister and I took the car without permission.
When they got back, my dad asked if we drove the car...we said NO!
5 minutes later he showed us what time we left the house and the addresses of the two stops we made. We couldn't say anything.
Yep, we were BUSTED!

.10 target issed on ECDC
Saw this on google news, me like. Im not sure i'd go that high in my estimates, but think this could be an easy flip up to .05+
(NEW YORK)--Ludlow Capital has initiated research coverage on East Coast Diversified Corp. (OTC:ECDC- Ihub), a developer of RFID and GPS tracking technology, with a new near-term price valuation target of $0.10 to $0.12 per share.
EarthSearch Communications, Inc, a wholly-owned division of ECDC, manages their flagship product, LogiBoxx™, which integrates GPS and RFID at the hardware level. LogiBoxx offers continuous visibility within the Supply Chain, Logistics, and Asset Management and Control industries. Along with its integrated, patent-pending GPS and RFID technologies, EarthSearch also offers a complete line of innovative RFID solutions.
On Dec. 9th, 2010, the Company announced the launch of their Solar Powered LogiBoxx GPS Devices, which will reduce reliance on vehicle battery as a main power source for the LogiBoxx device. Solar powered LogiBoxx will be an effective solution for monitoring and tracking trailers and containers that are moved across the globe or on land by independently owned trucks.
Share Structure
As of November 2010, the Company had around 200 million shares authorized, with around 59 million shares issued and outstanding.
Based on these numbers, the Company is currently trading at a market cap of just under $400,000, when compared to their peers within the RFID and GPS sector, is well undervalued.
The Company's integration between RFID and GPS technology, with patent pending, makes EarthSearch a unique player in RFID, GPS, and global logistic and tracking industry.
Based on the wide use and need for such tracking technology, and the valuation of others within the sector, we feel in our opinion that a $8 to $10 million valuation for the company to be fair, if not conservative. The company currently has 60 million shares outstanding, but for our report, and to be more conservative in our projections, lets round that up to 80 million outstanding. Based on this new variable, this comes out to a projected fair value target of around $0.10 to $0.12 per share.
This would equate to 1,000%+ return based on our initial coverage price of $0.0075 per share.

East Coast Diversified Corp. (ECDC) Increases Sales with GPS Pilot Programs World-Wide
By: Staff Reporter
Last Updated: Jan. 19, 2011 - 10:40am EST
(NEW YORK)--EarthSearch Communications, a wholly-owned division of East Coast Diversified Corp. (OTC:ECDC- Ihub), announces new sales through pilot programs for their solar powered RFID and GPS tracking technology.
The Company has confirmed that EarthSearch has been expanding new sale orders of their LogiBoxx RFID/GPS tracking technology in a number of countries around the world.
In Nigeria, the Company has closed a $20,000 pilot program purchase with that countries ministry of Education for the use and implementation of their solar -powered LogiBoxx system. Also in Africa, the Company has recently sold several small pilot programs for their GPS technology in Kenya and Tanzania as well.
In the Middle-East, the Company has closed pilot programs in Qatar and Dubai to use their solar-power LogiBoxx technology in remote oil refineries in both these nations. EarthSeach's technology shows great promise for remote oil and industrial refineries that are lacking broadband communication, and power-supplies to track important cargo and equipment in these areas.
In addition, the Company has or is already in the process of rolling-out similar pilot programs in Russia, Ecuador, Chile, and Canada as well.
Although these purchase orders may not be larger within themselves, they do open the company up to showcase the multiple uses for the GPS LogiBoxx tracking technology, which in turn could result in potential larger follow-on purchase orders from both commercial and government agencies in these countries.
