ABM Resources Announces Old Pirate Stage 1 Scoping Study Results
ABM Resources announced the results of the Old Pirate Stage 1 open pit scoping study. The Old Pirate gold deposit is located in the NT on the same project as the company's multi-million ounce resource at the Buccaneer porphyry gold deposit. The Stage 1 Old Pirate open pit is modelled to contain 832,000t @ 11.5g/t gold for 308,000oz. Key highlights include: 261,000oz gold recovered in Stage 1 open pit via gravity gold extraction methods; $27.1m capital expenditure (gravity plant, camp and associated infrastructure) paid back in the first five months of production; $257m NPV applying 0% discount rate (equivalent to cash flow over two years mine life); $228m NPV applying 9.8% discount rate; and $511/oz of gold total operating cost inclusive of mining, processing, royalties and administration (cash cost ~$383/oz).

Um in die Liga von Torex und Newstrike aufzusteigen, werden sie aber noch sehr viel mehr liefern müssen ;)
Nicht nur die Ergebnisse sind entscheidend, sondern auch die location des Projektes und die späteren Kostenprognosen für die Mine. Newstrike's und Torex' Projekte liegen direkt neben einer der größten Minen in Mittelamerika, Goldquest's CAPEX wird relativ erheblich höher werden. Bis dahin spielt das aber nur eine untergeordnete Rolle, da man mit den bis dato vorliegenden Ergebnissen und Info über die Eigenschaften der Mineralisierungen und Geologie noch keineswegs eine Einschätzung darüber treffen kann, ob diese Discovery wirklich etw. Besonderes ist.
Die copper credits könnten für noch mehr Feuer in Zukunft sorgen - sehr gute Gehalte! Das release der nächsten Ergebnisse aus der "heißen" Zone wird spannend!
