aber stetig...dennoch schön zu gucken, das mal wieder was passiert mit der aktie  

an alle, die investiert sind. Bin leider bei 1,17 raus. Mal sehn, vielleicht kauf ich nochmal.  

Corporate investors, including China Life (2628.HK: Quote, Profile , Research), Citigroup (C.N: Quote, Profile , Research), Citic Pacific (0267.HK: Quote, Profile , Research), Cheung Kong (0001.HK: Quote, Profile , Research), Hong Kong tycoon Cheng Yu Tung, the Li Ka-shing Foundation, Bank of East Asia (0023.HK: Quote, Profile , Research) Chairman David Li, tycoon Lee Shau Kee and the Government of Singapore Investment Corp., bought a combined 3.9 percent of the firm through the offering.

SURGING DEMAND

Molybdenum prices jumped to a 17-month high in March as China raised export barriers for firms that export minor metals to crack down on polluting, resource-intensive industries.

Ferro molybdenum  prices rose to US$79 a kilogram in March, the highest since October 2005, due to a sudden increase in demand from steel production that was not matched by roasting capacity. Prices fell back to US$59.5 in January.

China accounted for 29 percent of global molybdenum output in 2004, but only 20 percent in 2005 as Beijing began closing small and polluting mines. Beijing, which recently imposed a 10 percent export duty on molybdenum, is expected to take further steps to discourage exports due to strong domestic demand.

China Molybdenum has six processing plants with annual ore processing capacity of 9.9 million tonnes. The firm plans to lift its roasting and smelting capacity to 20 kilotonnes per year and 15 kilotonnes per year, respectively, in 2008, from 18 kilotonnes and 11 kilotonnes, respectively.
 

China Moly faces hit from export curbs

China Molybdenum (3993) has been hit by an expanding move to curb exports of the strategically important metal.

China Moly and another firm were Friday added to a Commerce Ministry list of molybdenum and indium firms required to be licensed before they can export.

A total of 48 firms are affected by the move, 18 of which are indium producers.

Market watchers said Friday it was not surprising to see China Moly added to the list as it is the second largest in China, but said its outlook was clouded by the move to cut exports.

Exports accounted for 34.9 percent of total sales in the first half of last year and 51 percent for the whole year.

It will also face greater competition in the mainland from producers without export licenses.

China has the world's biggest deposits, producing 43,941 tonnes last year, up from 29,957 tonnes in 2005.

In January 2005, Beijing set curbs for molybdenum plant expansions and cancelled an export-tax rebate, which was then followed by a 10 percent export tax on ferro-molybdenum starting from last November. Also, a 15 percent export tax was added on many molybdenum products effective Friday.

Nevertheless, exporters believe the domestic market is insufficient to absorb rising production.

"There is a rule of thumb that China wants to export 40 percent of molybdenum output, and keep 60 percent at home, compared with 60 percent exported through 2005," metals consultancy Antaike analyst Xu Aihua said.

China's molybdenum concentrate output could soar this year by 33 percent to reach 130,000 tonnes, equivalent to 58,500 tonnes of molybdenum metal content, she said.

Molybdenum is a metal used to harden steel as well as an alloying element which, used with chromium, enhances corrosion resistance in stainless steel. Indium is a metal used in thin films to form lubricated layers as well as to make alloys with low melting points.

PS glaube auch dass die Aktie "neutral" zu hoch bewertet ist, ABER ..die Moly fantasie wird grösser und bei Kapitalauflauf Lässt sich dann doch wieder was machen..

zudem wird der "Moly hype" jetzt an verscheiedenen Ecken propagandiert

im runterrauschenden China bleibt die Bau und Flugzeug branche stabil........und braucht leichten, veerstärkten SUPER Stahl...>Moly..;-)

Der Thread lässt allerdings zu wünschen übrig. Habt ihr keine Ahnung von dem Wert oder wieso sind hier kaum Fundamentaldaten zum Nachlesen vorhanden..
Das ist doch ein Witz... In eurem Interesse solltet ihr euch mal näher damit auseinander setzen, oder wozu gibt es hier diesen Thread- um zu schreiben ob der Kurs steigt oder fällt, und wer wieviel investiert ist ? Oder ist der Sinn des Threads doch Meinungen charttechnischer sowie fundamentaler Art und Weise auszutauschen. Ist schon ganz schön zugespitzt formuliert, das weiß ich. Jeder sollte sich aber mal fragen ob da nicht doch was dran ist... ;-)
