Grove hat mitgeteilt, der Betrieb der Pilot Plant sei 2015 aus Geldmangel eingestellt worden.
Vor einer Woche noch keine Kohle für die Fertigstellung der Pilot Plant.

Dennoch wird eine Fertigstellung bereits 2 Tage nach Ende des PP für ebenso realistisch erachtet, wie die sofortige Produktionsaufnahme der Samples.

Seit Bekanntgabe des PP sind an der TSX.V knapp 240.000 Aktien gehandelt worden, meistenteils rot.
Ein Umsatz von umgerechnet rd. Euro 12.000,00.
Das sollen angeblich Leute sein, die CCE vertrauen und richtig was riskieren.

Jetzt kann ich mir besser vorstellen, wie hoch der Kapitaleinsatz desjenigen sein könnte, der uns dies glauben machen will.

Eigentlich ganz einfach - objektive Sichtweise vorausgesetzt.

UBS takes apart Chevy Bolt, says electric vehicles will disrupt commodity markets

Electric vehicles are going to result in a boom for battery materials such as lithium, cobalt and rare earths, according to UBS, whose analysts physically took apart the Chevy Bolt.

In a world where EVs reach 100 per cent of the market, which is decades away, demand for lithium will increase by 2,898 per cent, cobalt by 1,928 per cent and rare earths by 655 per cent, UBS said.

“Strong demand for battery and non-battery EV materials will tighten demand-supply balances, resulting in higher prices than otherwise,” UBS said. “The combination of strong demand growth and higher prices will incentivise new supply to be developed, which, in the case of battery raw materials especially, should drive transformative industry growth.”

Russian government plans to boost rare earths output

Russia’s government plans to increase domestic rare earths production over the next few years, officials familiar with the scheme have confirmed to IM.
According to Denis Manturov, Russia’s minister of industry and trade, the Putin administration will initially set aside the equivalent of $350m to directly and indirectly support the sector.
Speaking at a ministerial meeting in May, Manturov said that generating strong local demand for the elements was essential to grow the industry. He also stressed that Russian companies involved in the rare earths value chain need to be given access to modern international technology in order to be competitive.
A trade ministry official told IM that the government will allocate funding to research and development, tax incentives, guaranteed purchases by the State Institution on Formation of the State Fund of Precious Metals and Precious Stones (Gokhran) and the creation of a strategic reserve for rare earth materials...

Wie die UBS Analysten hier schreiben, haben sie die Stromerzeugung nicht mit einfließen lassen, also der riesige Bedarf an Magnet SEs für Windkraftanlagen ist nicht mit eingeflossen. 1Tonne Magnet SEs für ne Offshore Anlage, da kommt man dann schnell auf 1000% Bedarfssteigerung für Magnet SEs. Die Kehrseite der Medallie is auch interessant: Steigt der Bedarf an Magnet SEs zu anderen SEs so unsymmetrisch, sind alle Projekte mit ungünstig hohen leichten SE dead money! Commerce hat in ihrem Warenkorb La und Ce aussen vor gelassen, kann also auch ohne deren Verkauf wirtschaftlich produzieren.

 

Commerce Resources Corp. Enters Development MOU with Ucore Rare Metals Inc.

Commerce Resources Corp. (TSXv: CCE; FSE: D7H) (the “Commerce”) is pleased to announce that it has executed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSXv: UCU; OTCQX: UURAF) (“Ucore”) for the purpose of integrating feedstock from Commerce’s Ashram Project in Quebec (the “Ashram Project”) with Ucore’s recently announced rare earth separation facility and Strategic Metals Complex (“SMC”).

Under the terms of the MOU, Commerce will provide quantities of mixed rare earth carbonate concentrate, using material from the Ashram Deposit (the “Ashram Concentrate”), sufficient to perform bench and pilot scale testing of the metallurgy and metals separation metrics of the prospective feedstock. The bench work will be conducted by IBC Advanced Technologies of American Fork, Utah (“IBC”), with pilot scale test work expected to take place at the recently completed SuperLig®-One MRT pilot facility in Vineyard, Utah (see Ucore Press Release September 26, 2016).

The objective of the test work is to complete a definitive assessment of the suitability of the Ashram Concentrate as potential feedstock for the SMC, with a view to a subsequent long-term supply partnership and offtake relationship.

“This is a significant development partnership for both Ucore and Commerce”, said Jim McKenzie, President and CEO of Ucore.“Commerce has undertaken extensive research and testing resulting in a high-quality and high-grade mineral concentrate that will allow for cost effective processing to our ideal feedstock, and therefore, looks to be a very promising candidate for processing via a MRT separation circuit.The Ashram Deposit is large tonnage, good grade, hosts a well-balanced REE distribution with an enrichment in the magnet feed REEs, and perhaps most importantly, is highly accessible. In combination with the SMC, Ashram promises to be a key link in a self-contained North American REE supply chain.”
