Amgen Victorious in TKT Patent Litigation

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 19, 2001--Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) today announced that judgment was entered in its favor in the patent litigation against TKT and Aventis relating to erythropoietin.

Judge William G. Young of the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts ruled that three of Amgen's patents, U.S. Patent Nos. 5,621,080, 5,756,349 and 5,955,422 were held valid and infringed by TKT's GA-EPO product. The court also held that one patent, 5,547,933, was not infringed. As previously announced, the court held during trial that a fifth patent, 5,618,698, was also not infringed.

Wird den Biotechindes hochziehen und vermutlich Biotechkorrektur beenden.

Wenn das nachbörsliche Kurs am Montag gehalten wird, ist das schon sehr gut. Kurse zwischen 80-90 Dollar am Montag kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. So schnell gehts auch wieder nicht. Das wären 50% Aufschlag zum offiziellen Schlußkurs am Freitag.

Aber die Bios kommen wieder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

macht gegenüber dem Schlusskurs knapp etwas mehr als +20 %

Ein Riese wie Amgen macht wegen eines gewonnen Rechtsstreites keine 50% !!

Abe selbst, wenn die +20% gehalten werden, ist das schon toll, glaub ich aber nicht !  

So ziemlich alle deutschen Biotechs haben sich von den Tiefstständen Anfang Januar schon mit plus 30-50% erholt, nur Medigene scheint dabei vergessen worden zu sein und liegt immer noch auf Tief knapp über 50€.
Hat jemand 'ne Idee, was der Grund dafür sein könnte ?

Vom Chart her können die schon bis 80$ laufen, aber vermutlich nur als Tageshöchstkurs. Dann dürfte Amgen wieder runtergehen.
