Oslo (Reuters) - Der norwegische Werftkonzern Aker Yards hat den größten jemals vergebenen Auftrag für den Bau eines Kreuzfahrtschiffes erhalten. Nach seiner Fertigstellung soll das Schiff mit einer Länge von 360 Metern, das für 5400 Passagiere ausgelegt ist, den derzeit größten Kreuzfahrtdampfer "Queen Mary 2" übertreffen.

Der Auftrag sei von der norwegisch-amerikanischen Reederei Royal Caribbean Cruises erteilt worden und habe ein Volumen von rund 900 Million Euro, teilte Aker Yards am Montag mit. Der "neue Gigant auf dem Kreuzfahrtmarkt" solle in Finnland gebaut werden und ab Herbst 2009 in Bertrieb genommen werden. Nach Bekanntwerden des Auftrages stiegen die Aker-Yards-Aktien um sechs Prozent auf 347 norwegische Kronen.

Der Deal werde die rund 2000 Arbeitsplätze in Finnland sowie 2500 weitere Jobs in der Zulieferbranche für die nächsten vier Jahre sichern, sagte Yrjo Julin, Chef von Aker Yards Finnland. Um den Auftrag erfüllen zu können, werde der Konzern außerdem weitere Arbeitsplätze schaffen. So müsste allein das finnische Team um 300 auf 900 Designer verstärkt werden. Der Vertrag beinhalte die Option für ein zweites Schiff ähnlicher Bauart.

Aker Yards betreibt 13 Werften in Norwegen, Finnland, Deutschland, Rumänien und Brasilien. Der Konzern lieferte mit seinem Kreuzfahrtschiff "Song of Norway" 1970 sein erstes Schiff an Royal Caribbean aus. Seitdem baute Aker Yards mehr als 15 weitere Kreuzfahrtdampfer für die Reederei.

for the fourth quarter of 2005 on Thursday, 16
February 2006.

companies will participate in a presentation of
accounting figures to be held at
Shippingklubben, Haakon VIIs gate 1, Oslo.

The presentation begins at 09:00.
Aker Seafoods will also present a more detailed
review of its interim report at Shippingklubben,
starting at about 10.00.

All interested parties are welcome to attend. No
advance registration is required.

The three companies, Aker ASA, Aker Seafoods
ASA, and Aker American Shipping ASA, will submit
their fourth-quarter 2005 reports to the Oslo
Stock Exchange prior to the 09:00 presentation.

Mit der FREEDOM OF THE SEAS holt sich Royal Caribbean Cruise Line den Titel „Größtes Kreuzfahrtschiff der Welt“ zurück: Breiter als die QM 2, höher die auf den Linern dieser Company obligatorische  Kletterwand, länger die „Royal Promenade“ im Schiffsinneren. Whirlpools, die 34 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel fast vier Meter über das Schiff hinausragen. Das riesige Pooldeck mit interaktivem Wasserpark und einem speziellen Sportbecken verwandelt sich nachts in einen Open-Air-Nachtclub. Nach Schlittschuhlaufen und Inlineskating ist Surfen die nächste sportliche Herausforderung an Bord. Im „Flow Rider“ erzeugen über 113 Kubikmeter Wasser pro Minute eine Art Welle, die sich von Deck 13 hinunter auf Deck 12 erstreckt und aufrecht stehend (Flowboarding) oder liegend (Body Boarding) „bezwungen“ werden kann.

Aker Yards has confirmed an optional agreement
with Siem Offshore Inc for the building of two
Platform Supply Vessels. The value of the
contract is approximately NOK 275 million.
Delivery is scheduled for second quarter 2007
from Aker Yards, Aukra.

The vessels are of Vik Sandvik design, VS 470 Mk
II. The vessels will be equipped with dynamic
positioning, special product tanks, azimuth
thrusters and accommodation for 34 persons.

2005 was one of Aker`s best years. Revenues
exceeded NOK 62.4 billion in 2005 and operating
profit before depreciation and amortization
amounted to NOK 3.3 billion. The Group
strengthened its financial position throughout
the year, and the order backlog stood at NOK
98.4 billion at year-end 2005. This solid
performance gives Aker a good foundation for
continued growth and improved profitability.

The Board of Directors will propose to the
annual shareholders` meeting the payment of an
ordinary dividend of NOK 6.5 per share for the
2005 accounting year.

Operations in all main Aker Group companies
developed well in both 2005 as a whole and in
the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter was
characterized by markedly increased activity
levels, particularly at Aker Kværner and Aker
Material Handling, and margin improvement
continued. The Aker Group had a fourth-quarter
2005 EBITDA of NOK 1 144 million, up from NOK
897 million in the third quarter and NOK 525
million in the fourth quarter of 2004.

The Group`s 2005 order intake amounted to NOK
91.2 billion, up more than 50 percent compared
with 2004. The order backlog at year-end 2005
corresponds to 1.6 times annual revenues. The
corresponding multiple at year-end 2004 was 1.2.
Greater order intake is attributable to Group
companies` strengthened competitiveness as well
as stronger markets. Contract margins were
generally higher in 2005 than in prior periods.

Bengt A. Rem der CFO der Aker ASA hat heute 10000 Aktien gekauft zu einem Kurs von 243,15 NOK .  

 

Da hat schon wieder Kjeld R. 4000 Aktien zum Preis von 248 NOK gekauft und hält jetzt 10300 Stück  

Ist in einer Übertreibungsphase könnte demnachst ein Rücksetzer geben .

Schiffsmeldungen
Bei der Aker Werft in Wismar wurde der jüngste Neubau auf den Namen "Cape Mollini"getauft. Wenn das Schiff am 11. März die Werft in Wismar verläßt, trägt es den Charternamen "CMA CGM Jefferson". Auftraggeber des 221 Meter langen Schiffes ist die Reederei Schoeller Holdings auf Zypern, die ihr jüngstes Schiff nach Frankreich vercharterte. Wie bereits 22 Schiffe davor, so ist auch dieser Neubau an den beiden Werftstandorten in Warnemünde und Wismar gemeinsam gefertigt worden. Die Vorschiffe entstanden in Warnemünde, während die Achterschiffe in Wismar gebaut wurden, wo auch die Endmontage und Ausrüstung erfolgte. Die "Cape Mollini" erreicht eine Geschwindigkeit von 22 Knoten und trägt 2741 Standardcontainer.

Kjell Inge Rökke baut Aker-Gruppe um

Menschen und Märkte

Vor drei Jahren stand er am Rande des Ruins, jetzt ist Kjell Inge Rökke einer der reichsten und erfolgreichsten Männer Norwegens. Die fünf Unternehmen seiner Aker-Gruppe übertrafen am 2. März einen Börsenwert von 50 Mrd. norwegische Kronen (6,25 Mrd.Euro). Seine persönlichen Anteile sind 16 Mrd. Kronen wert. Nun überraschte Rökke (47) mit einem umfassenden Personen-Revirement. Er selbst zog sich mit unmittelbarer Wirkung als Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der Holding zurück und wird Ende März das Aufsichtsgremium verlassen. Er brauche Zeit, "um mich mit für Aker neue und spannende Projekte zu befassen". Sein Nachfolger wird Leif-Arne Langöy (49), der auch seine Position als Akers Konzernchef behält. Verabschieden tut sich nach zwei Jahren Kvaerner-Konzernchef Inge K. Hansen, ihm folgt Akers Strategie-Vorstandsmitglied Maretinus Brandal. Zur Tochtergesellschaft Aker Yards gehören auch die Werften in Rostock und Warnow. gtm.
