....The government has also announced plans to set up a 1,000 megawatt grid-connected solar PV power projects with viability gap funding support of Rs.1,000 crore. The project is envisioned to be carried-out by central public sector undertakings within three years from 2015-16 to 2017-18.

To achieve its solar targets, the Government of India is planning to train 50,000 people in solar sector to create a “solar army” by providing training in solar energy related areas. The industry is already showing improvements by offering employments to a large section of the society. Solar energy is likely to create around seven lakh jobs in next 10 years in India, says an industry report.

Several public service companies, with support from the Center, have announced plans to set up solar projects across the country. Coal India is planning to establish 1 GW of solar projects across India.

BHEL, an engineering and manufacturing PSU, is planning to set up a 500 MW solar power project worth Rs.3,700 crore. Earlier in July, BHEL also announced it will form a joint venture company (JVC) with a consortium of leading energy companies in India to set up an Ultra Mega Solar Power Project (UMSPP) of cumulative capacity of 4,000 MW in Sambhar Lake area near Jaipur, Rajasthan.....

s.auch diesen Report von Research and Markets:http://www.greentechlead.com/2015/01/04/...ble-energy-till-2022-20679

To achieve the renewable energy target of 72,000 MW by 2022, India will have to invest around US$ 46.22 billion, says a new report from Research and Markets.

In addition to this, India will have to make investments in upgrading the transmission and distribution infrastructure and old renewable plants that will reach their end of life.  With all these together, India will have to invest US$ 83.35 billion in the renewable energy market till 2022.

India has set the target of achieving overall renewable energy installed capacity of 41,400 MW by 2017 and 72,400 MW by 2022.

India has set a target of achieving overall wind energy installed capacity of 27,300 MW by 2017 and 38,500 MW by 2022. As per estimates, this creates an US$ 31.25 billion opportunity in the wind energy market in India until 2022.

The wind energy market in India has been growing since the last many years. The total installed capacity of the Indian Wind Energy market is 21136.20 MW. India stands at the 5th Rank in terms of the total installed wind power capacity just behind China, USA, Germany and Spain.

But the potential is far from being utilized. It is estimated by the Indian Wind Energy Association that the Wind power potential for all the states of India put together would be in the order of 1.5 GW. It can sustain the growing needs of electricity of the Indian consumers in a sustainable way.

Bloomberg News earlier also reported, citing unnamed people with knowledge of the matter, the unit, Senvion SE, had drawn interest from Chinese companies and a large buyout fund. It did not name the potential bidders.

"This rumour of stake sale are baseless and false and speculative in nature," a Suzlon spokesman said in an emailed statement, in response to Reuters' request for comment on the news report.
Suzlon will pursue listing of Senvion if it cannot agree on deal terms with potential buyers, the Bloomberg report said.

Suzlon will keep the market updated about all its strategic plans “once approved by the board,” it said in an e-mail, adding any report of such a sale is “baseless” and “speculative.”

The company has announced a fresh plan to invest $3.7 billion to develop 3 GW wind energy capacity in Gujarat. The announcement was made by the company Chairman Tulsi Tanti at the Vibrant Gujarat Global investors summit.

The planned 3 GW capacity will include 2 GW onshore wind energy capacity, 500 MW offshore wind energy capacity (possibly the first offshore wind energy project in India), and 500 MW solar power capacity.

The company plans to market its wind and solar energy projects to industries which are looking to purchase electricity from the open market and at competitive rates.

Suzlon Energy remains that biggest integrated wind energy player in the Indian market, and earlier this year announced their intentions to enter the solar power market using the same model as it has adopted for the wind energy market....

Debt ridden wind turbine maker Suzlon is in advanced talks with US-based private equity fund Centerbridge Partners for the sale of its 100 per cent German subsidiary Senvion SE, sources privy to the development told ET Now.
The deal is likely to be valued at around 1 billion euro ( convert into rupee crores), which is a 40 per cent discount to Suzlon's 2007 acqusition of Senvion, formerly called REpower, in 2007.

Suzlon, which currently has a debt of over Rs 16,000 crore, is looking to retire as much as Rs 4,000 cr of debt by March 2015, Chairman Tulsi Tanti told reporters on the sidelines of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.

The company has also called for a meeting with lenders on Monday, January 19  to take stock of the contours of the deal, the sources cited above told ET Now.

The sources also added that Suzlon will require lenders' approval before finalising the deal.
Suzlon is currently in the process of implementing a Rs 9,500 cr CDR (Corporate Debt Restructuring plan), which was approved by a consortium of 19 banks in January 2013.

However, the company continues to make losses due to the huge interest overhang. This scenario persists despite Suzlon reporting positive ebitda for the past three consecutive quarters.

Experts say Suzlon will want to sell Senvion SE and focus on its India operations in the wake of the Modi government's thrust on the Renewable Energy Bil. The bill seeks to ensure that 10 per cent of the country's power requirement is met by renewable energy sources by 2020.
In response to an email query from ET NOW, a Suzlon spokesperson said, "As a policy we do not comment on market speculation and rumours"

€, also 1,16 Mrd. $.

€ bewertet, also 1,54 Mrd.

Suzlon Energy’s reported sale of German subsidiary Senvion to private equity fund Centerbridge will reduce the Pune-based company’s annual sales in India to about Rs 3,000 crore. For FY14, Senvion contributed Rs 13,759 crore, or 65 per cent of the consolidated revenue.

The sale will, however, help the company repay lenders and focus on the Indian market, say analysts. ..In 2009, Suzlon acquired Senvion, earlier known as REpower, for ^1.5 billion. However, it was unable to make money from the acquisition, as complaints of faulty products increased, resulting in lower sales and profits. The company has not recorded profits since 2012-13. (??)

“With the Senvion sale, the company has managed to get out of a financial mess. What Suzlon will be left with is a big question, as its domestic operations are not a big deal,” said an analyst.

On Tuesday, Suzlon’s shares at Rs 17.64 on the BSE, up 0.9 per cent, as investors waited for an announcement on the sale.

“The Suzlon’s REpower takeover did not go well from the beginning. The company took too many loans and mismanaged the takeover. It was like a small fish trying to eat a very large one. No wonder the company soon started defaulting on loans. The sale of Senvion will be like a fire sale,”
